PROJECTOR

I want to just only ask how I could connect my Inspiron 3421 to the projector. because I can't find the place where shoud I connect the projector in insptiron 3421. I really need to know the answer because I'm a student that using power point presentation when it comes to relationships.

Hi iamWinnie,

Inspiron 3521 has HDMI port on the left side. You can use a HDMI to VGA dongle to connect the computer to a projector.

If you have a HDMI connection on the projector, you can connect it directly to the computer HDMI port.

Once the projector is connected, press Fn + F1 to display the image on the TV or projector.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Presenter PowerPoint on Mac mini mode displayed on the screen and the projector when using HDMI splitter

We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.

Of course if we have to use the MacBook for presentations instead of the Mac mini, you would need to have seen the presenter on both the screen and on the screen of the MacBook.

In the Mac mini display preferences there is no button to "Gather Windows" when the Mac mini is attached to the screen and the projector via HDMI splitter is a tab "setting."

But these two things appear on the MacBook when it is connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I'm confused. When you use a video separator the same screen will appear on the two monitors connected to the separator. This is how works a separator

  • projector does not not on Sierra

After opdating to Sierra Spotlight does not work.

On the first there is a little life, but now it is completely dead.

As you see, if you go to System Preferences > Projectors > privacy (tab)? All items are listed in the exclusion list?

Otherwise: try to add the macintosh hd to the list by pressing on the + sign at the bottom on the left and that it points to the macintosh hd.
Then delete this new element by selecting it and pressing the sign - on the lower left. Close System Preferences again and it should re - initialize indexing.

  • Apple tv to TV and projector

Hello.  New to the community so this is.

I want to connect to my apple tv to my TV and projector tv has HDMI connections and the projector has VGA connector.  Is there a product that allows you to connect both at the same time?

    At soon yall

    GUNIT1926

I am told that a material separator must successfully split the output of Apple TV for you. It is important that it is a hardware solution, because a cable splitter will not work. I have not tested this solution myself, but others here have posted success.

The next issue will be to connect your projector because is not HDMI. There are devices sold by Apple for this purpose, but to comply with the regulations that will not work with HDCP protected content.

    HDCP

HDCP compatible converters only allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as the iTunes Store. Not compliant converters exist, but we cannot treat them in the terms of use for these communities.

    Resolution and report l / h

I'm not aware of any converters that dimensionnera the release of the Apple TV, any TV or projector that serves ideally will be widescreen and support resolutions of 720 p (Apple TV 2), 720 p/1080 p (Apple TV 3), although Apple TV has a 4:3 resolutions number, it takes in charge, but they are not available if the TV is not rebroadcast.

    DAC

Most of the types of HDMI to HDMI connectors no or converters do not carry audio, in this case, you may also convert your optical output into an analog signal using a DAC. If you are considering an Apple TV 4, it doesn't have an optical output then you need another adapter to extract audio and HDMI from a HDMI source.

  • Projector shows only popular pdf

    Dear supporters!

xI recently fell on a focus problem. Since the update to El Capitan, I have problems when it comes to search PDF files. I have a lot of them, but Spotlight somehow shows me more or less the same files when I enter a search term. It is as if some PDF is identified as "hyperrelevant" and is always displayed and I Don t find the ones I really wanted. Before the update, I remember, that projector showed a higher "variance" in the results. Now, half of the list indicates the same 5 PDF files, enter any keyword.

Do you have an idea how to solve this problem? Thanks for helping!

    Hey there Jensbo!

Thank you for bringing This issue to Apple Support communities! I find spotlight to the resource the most valuable on a Mac. I can only imagine how eager are you to fill more relevant research. Although this resource contains the basics, make sure that Spotlight preferences are adjusted and configured properly:

The basics of the Mac: Spotlight helps you find what you are looking for

The ultimate resource, we will work through today, is the following:

OS X El Capitan: If your Mac to the search does not return the expected results

It will be a very good start to adjust your settings and make sure that Spotlight is pulling from the appropriate locations.

    Have a phenomenal day.

  • Projector for iPad Air requirements

I bought the cable so that the iPad has been connected to the projector via the HDMI port. The connection was immediate, but the picture was fuzzy. I tried different settings on the projector, but none worked. Do I need a projector which is higher resolution than what I had? If so, what I'm looking for? Or anything else is not right? Thank you!

they do not have the resolution for the air to the ipad, but you can change the resolution of the projector? try to match. The resolution listed for air 2 is 2048‑by‑1536

    Maybe if you match them?

Otherwise, what is the specs on the projector? Is there a good resolution? Sometimes portable small Exchange portability for resolution.

  • 4th generation Apple TV connected to the projector

I have an Apple TV 4th generation connected to a projector with a Kenex of HDMI to VGA with Audio for the 4th generation.  Whenever I want to play Netflix or HBO NOW I get a black screen. I can only here the sound and I get a black screen.  It works fine when I use other applications.

What can I do to fix this?

I would really enjoy HBO NOW and Netflix with this number.

I think that your card does not support HDCP on the HDMI connection, which is required by these suppliers copy protection. Because you want to convert it to VGA, this isn't surprising, because an enterprising hacker could extract the digital video stream. Most of these adapters are sold "educational purposes", not the home entertainment, and that's why. That said, if you look diligently, you can find a suitable adapter. The educational goal of the KENIMBENI is actually mentioned on the Apple store page http://www.apple.com/shop/product/H9139VC/B/kanex-atv-pro-x-hdmi-to-vga-adapter-avec-audio-prise supported, as well as a comment by the user that it cannot handle the HDCP.

  • Mac book pro with projector color issue

I used a mac book pro for presentations keynote with very few problems. I did one yesterday and when I plugged it up to the lcd projector, the screen went weird and then it had a bluish tint through all the slides. I turned implementing mirroring on and outside, and it still does not go far. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Thank you

How the project is connected to a Mac? Entry and exit of Mac projector?

The projector works OK now with another computer using the same projector entry?

  • I use hyperlinks of Keynote, but they are not working when I connect to a projector AV. Any ideas?

I use hyperlinks of Keynote, but they are not working when I connect to a projector AV. Any ideas?

Hyperlinks don't work in the presentation on the projection screen, not 'View presenter' on Mac to display.

  • presentation is not showing is not the projector

I am a teacher. I use keynote to give the notes/lecture to my students. Today, after having finished class I escaped to my presentation and made preparations to restart. When I hit 'play', the presenter appeared on my MacBook Pro retina (as it does in general) and had no problems coming on my iPad. but he kept on my projector showing my office. I escaped and tried again, same thing. I unplugged my thunderbolt port projector cable then rep notched in: same result. I have mirrored display of the mbp and projector. Came on the MBP and not the projector. I tried to leave the program, which took time. When I re-opened, the main screen has become transparent. I then leave off of it and restarted the computer. This solves the problem, but after my next presentation, it's the same thing. I ran a scan of disk utility, and it says everything is fine. I am running the latest version of El Cap, in fact I've just updated last night. Could the update be the cause? Also, while this was happening, I was unable to restart or shut down the computer. I had to make a hard stop down by pressing the power button and hold. Ideas?

Try to reset the Keynote, perform all the steps in the order listed

Keynote, you must use a request to work procedure removal tool uninstall

AppCleaner is free and works well for this procedure, it can be download here: Appcleaner

    • uninstall the Keynote with a removal tool
    • empty the trash
    • Shut Down the Mac (Apple menu > turn off)
    • Wait 10 seconds, then press the power button
    • as soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key
    • release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple screen, start-up will take a few minutes longer than usual as the Mac performs a software repair
    • After the repair and the Mac is completely started, restart the Mac normally (Apple > restart)
    • install Keynote from the Mac App Store
  • Problems connecting to a projector. Laptop recognizes the new monitor but projector does not display anything.

I have a Macbook Pro (non-retina display) mid-2012. I have a mini VGA screen that worked throughout the year and all of a sudden, it doesn't seem to work. My computer recognizes the new monitor (screen flickers and flies all content secondary screen) but the projector does not display anything. I tried to reconnect the cable, the cable VGA switch to turn on the projector and turn off, restart my computer and clouds of dust on the connections. Sometimes if I move the connection just that will work, but if I so much as breathe on it or watch funny it stops and I can't get it back.

Jiggle the cable or adapter is something different, you have a physical adapter or cable problem. Any bit-reversal can help that.

  • Can not see the mouse using projector

When I use my macbook pro 2015, I don't see the cursor of the mouse (I see the effects of it, though) when connected to a projector using an HDMI cable.

There are two ways of 'classics' to connect an external monitor. One is mirrored, the other is "Extended desktop", this picture of the Watch pane arranges extended desktop. Each blue rectangle is an icon for the location of the display on your bench. If you make them slide in the same order as they appear in fact, or remember that the area of the projector is "to the right/top/bottom/left" from the main screen, you can move the mouse across the border between views and drag items to follow correctly.

  • Sprout projector

It's probably too obvious if it's a snake it would bite me, but is there a way to turn off the projector/camera when I use the germ for a basic PC task?    I don't have as much time as I would like to play with him for other things again and I don't want the camera when I'm not actually use.

    Thank you
    Tracy

As DavidPK pointed out, it's the button more right on the Matt connection area.  Pressure will turn off the matte touch sensor, a longer shuts down the projector too.  (The User Guide labels page as "Getting to know your Sprout" - Chapter 1, Page 2).  You can also simply disconnect the carpet to turn off the projector.

Given that the carpet is soft, malleable, and can be damaged if accidentally stabbed or folded, I would recommend removing when not necessary!

Also be aware of the function "desk lamp!  Typed on the front controls round metal LED.  (Low/POWER).

I thought that the projector had gone down on the first time I used a shoot!  (I suggested since an icon added to the Tower!)

    Hello

I am struggling with the display of 3D on a 3d ready projector emachines V700.
I tried different software, stereoscopic player, CyberLink DVDPlayer 12 without success.

CyberLink DVDPlayer is configured to use the Intel card - which will not limit its possibilities to use the 3D Vision NVidea support?

On the NVidea Control Panel, the option for the specification of the graphics card is grayed out and configured for the use of the Intel card, for all CyberLink programs.

The error message I see, is that the software can not enable 3D support. I used the mode "120 time sequential 3D LCD.

The Toshiba Bue Ray Player has yet identified the Blu Ray in 3D, as it seems.
It shows 3D blu ray than 2D and 3D button is grayed out.

    Hello

From my point of view, you can use this capable 3D projector as part of the nVidia 3D vision.

    http://www.nvidia.co.UK/object/3D-vision-main-UK.html

As I m not wrong not the display/projector must support 120 Hz and must be set to 120 Hz in order to use the 3D side-by-side mode.

In addition you need a compatible software/player stereo standard (for example 3D VISION video player)
