Properties - asking extract that created the Pdf file of the document

Hello

I need to extract the original application a pdf file created from javascript.  for example in the properties of the document the application appears as follows:

Application: AutoCAD 2010

The script of the console that I have is this:

Console.println ('Application: ')
+ this.info.Application + "");

When the script is run, it does not extract the application that created the pdf file from.

Please can someone tell how the script can be modified to remove the application from the document properties?

Any help will be most appreciated.

Thank you.

It has no property named 'Application' of the information object. Try the "creator".

Assuming that you are talking about Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard, it is far from being compatible with Windows 7, if problems are to be expected.

The first version which has been is 9.2, if I remember correctly.

Of course, it's an option as well. You can attach files to the main PDF file, or you can merge all files into a single PDF portfolio.

I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the document (replacing the existing document) and close. Then another person can open the same document digitally sign another area of the form, save it, and close it. So on, and so on. Is there a way to do this? At the end of the day, I would end up with a PDF file with literally hundreds of signatures to enable different ACC everywhere...

I don't understand what the problem is. In the post of the davidr96549424 on May 8, 2015 07:58 you presented a structure of a correct document. Is the issue of the creation of this structure in a PDF file? For this, you will need an Acrobat, not reader.

XI in Acrobat, select Tools-> forms-Edit. Click 'No' on the form fields 'detect '. In the tasks Panel that opens, click on "add new field". Select "Digital Signature" and move it to the location in the document where you want to than the appearance of the signature to be. Repeat that for signature fields as you want. Users will sign by clicking on the prepared unsigned signature field which shows the dialog box "sign. Do not forget that as TSN has noted that a digital signature applies to the entire document. The entry in the document where it is is irrelevant. Each next signature covers all previous signatures.

Your users can also sign a document from anywhere that they want without signature fields already prepared. For this select fill & sign-> work with certificates and the type of signing you want to sign up with. A dialog box that will tell you a rectangle for the appearance of signature rises and after you draw the rectangle of the dialog 'Sign' rises.

PDF/Acrobat doesn't have a limit on a number of signatures in a PDF document. But! Don't forget that when you open a PDF file with Acrobat/Reader signatures valid all of them and takes time (several seconds - until 10 - for every signature), so if you have several signatures of dozens of their validation open can take a long time.

I don't know how build you your workflow so that each person signs the same PDF and saves it. Economy runs on the same computer where the PDF is stored. You'll have to decide how to allow different people to have access to the same PDF. They, of course, you may sign this only one-at-a-time PDF.

What product Adobe can create a PDF file that can not be changed or printed by the recipient?

    Hi quoman,

Looks like you're wondering how to add security to a PDF file. You will need Acrobat Pro or Standard to do. If you do not have Acrobat, you can try it free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

  • How to create a pdf file of 4 pages of images - each page must be open to the same size

How to create a 4-page pdf (from 4 images - all the same size) which opens each page in the format full page?

    Thank you very much.

    Ginger

    PREVIOUS MSG:

My goal is to create multi page PDF files created from the images (scans of old brochures).  I get images (scans of pages) to the same size.

I was able to create 4 PDF files (each opens in format full page) and merge into 1 pdf file.  When I opened this final pdf, I see a column of 4 pages, picture on page 1 being larger than the other 3. When I click on the left icon, page 1, I get the full page.  When I click on the icons for pages 2-4, I get nothing.  The only way I can get the other pages in a view full page is to adjust the scale after selecting the icon on the left.  This is not what I want.

    How I created the files.

I can create pdf pages using Photoshop or Acrobat Pro itself through:

File > create PDF > From File and adding each image.  I then, for each, choose Properties > initial view > Fit Page > save. Can I use file > combine > merge files into a single PDF > save.

I have to open the multi page pdf file.

    I appreciate all help.

    Thank you

    PREVIOUS MS

If you use Photoshop, have you not thought about having a 4 layer Photoshop file and make sure that all images appear on separtate layers you would like them to appear in PDF format.

You should then be able to save in PDF via Photoshop and D command to bring up the properties of the document, obtained in the initial view and select your choice of display preference.

    Hope this helps

    Hi stephenm26904611,

Thank you for your bug report about the extension to create a file PDF Acrobat being disabled in FF v43.

It is a known issue and we are working on that.

We intend to provide support in the future updates.

Meanwhile, as a solution, you can use Adobe Create PDF extension for Chome and Internet Explorer, or use Acrobat to convert web pages to PDF.

    Thank you

  • Is it possible to create a PDF file using only the pages of an existing PDF?

Is it possible to create a PDF file using only the pages of an existing PDF?

    Hi drdanger,

There is a way, and it requires Acrobat. You need Acrobat to extract pages from a PDF. You are welcome to try free for 30 days, Acrobat, if you haven't already. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

If Acrobat, you choose extract in the Pages of the Toolbox pane, then specify which pages you want to extract. These pages are extracted to a new PDF file, which then you name and save it.

  • Creating a PDF file that has editable fields and replaceable images

I tried to understand how I can create a PDF file that is replaceable photos and editable text. I work for a company in which all computers have only Adobe Reader as a means to view or edit a PDF file. So far, I managed to create a file that contains fields of text editable with a custom look and feel, which is great! However, the next step was to create "fields" that can be filled by a picture. Is there a way to create with LiveCycle or any other prorgram also replaceable images.

My goal is simple: create a PDF file that has editable textfields and replaceable images. What should be done in Adobe Reader.

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro to create this file, and I wonder if Live Cycle can help me with this problem, or if this is even possible at first. Thanks in advance.

Your goal is very simple with the LCD. Only use an Image field (important no Image) of the object library.

Any time you can click on it and select a new image.

    Hope this information is useful?

    Kind regards Mandy

  • Creating a pdf file that contains forms

I am trying to create a pdf file that combines three pdfs and several forms that I created in LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2. I have activated using the player to complete the forms so that they can be saved once completed.

My problem is that when I try to combine the file in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, it won't let me add the shapes because they are forms of Adobe XMS.

I did not save the forms and XML forms, so I wonder how to save the forms so that they can be combined into a single pdf.

I tried the option of the portfolio, but I think that this format will be confusing for people who need to use the package.

You will need to combine them into the designer if possible. Once you have used the designer, Acrobat cannot be used to do something practical with the file. If you want that, you should use the Acrobat (under TOOLS) forms.

To answer question you directly, no, you can't do nothing to prevent a valid PDF file opens in a non Adobe Reader, for better or worse.
