Property of the tree 'Selection Mode' broken in BT 21012 control?

Is implemented in a tree control broken in 2012 selection mode?

Please see attached example.

Too bad. I missed the part in the file help that indicates that you cannot go to a 0 or 1 or 2 or 3 running.

    Hello

    You can use a reference to an instance of the component RichTree and call getSelectedRowKeys on this subject. The selected rowKey allow you then eye-uo coup nodes in the tree. You can use a custom on the tree selection listener to be informed of each selection. There is also an API for the keys from line deselected, you need to delete nodes to select list much. • How to access the data in the row (text of children) in a pragmatic control tree?

    In LabVIEW 2010, I entered the data in row a tree with pragmatism control using the Add item and providing the child text table and the child tag for the line. When a row in the tree control is selected, I can get the line label in the Value property of the tree. But how do I access the data in the child text table when the line is selected? I can't seem to find a tree control property or method which will return data back.

    What I'm trying to do is: once a line in a tree is selected and a button is pressed, if the line tag is valid, I want to transfer all the data in row in another tree the same formatting. For this I need the data for the tree line and the line that was selected. I don't find a way to get access to these data of the line when it was composed in the tree.

    Can someone tell me how to access pragmatically the child text or row data in a tree control from a selected line in the tree? I have the label of the line, but how do I access data?

    Thank you for your help.

    Looking through numerous examples, I found how to do this using the properties ActiveItemRow and ActiveColNum, but I can't find these documented properties anywhere using LabVIEW. Even research through aid could not do anything about them.

    Where these important parameters are documented?

    Why they do not appear in the help?

    Are there other ways to access the data in the row (child text) form a selected line in a tree control?

  • Is a part of the tree of his own brothers and sisters?

    I have a routine that takes an item in the tree selected by a user and loop through all brothers and sisters of the element:

    itemRelated = TRUE;treeItemToTest = 0;

    while ((itemRelated) && (treeItemToTest < totalTreeItems) &&     (treeItemToTest >= 0))
    {
        /* Check if file is related to the selected file */
        AreTreeItemsRelated(panelHandle, treeHandle,
            treeItemToTest, VAL_SIBLING, selectedTreeIndex,
            &itemRelated);

        if (itemRelated)
        {
            /* process the item */
            /* ... */

            ++treeItemToTest;
        }
    }

    Somewhere between the current version and CVI 2012, our program has stopped working properly.  I traced the problem to the call of AreTreeItemsRelated in this routine.  In the latest version of LabWindows, this call returns FALSE if treeItemToTest and selectedTreeIndex are from the same point.  This is apparently a change in behavior of CVI, 2012, but it is not documented in the help of the function.  This change was deliberate?

    Yes. You are right. You have run into a scenario that can be very difficult to work around. We try very hard to never break compatibility with older versions of the execution, but sometimes it's inevitable, as in cases like this where a bug is fixed in a new version. Problems occur when there are existing programs which are assuming the existence of this bug and would actually break if it were not for the bug.

    The best way to avoid this situation is to use a specific flavour to the version of the runtime of the CVI. It has its drawbacks, of course (for example not automatically benefit from bug fixes in the run-time), but he could sure complicated deployment.

    Of course, who isn't really help you now, since your 'program #1' is already deployed using shared execution. Having said that, the best you can do is to replace it, what you can do without uninstalling all of its dependencies, by following these steps.

  • Table tree - Select All child nodes at the same time when the Parent node is selected.

    Hi all

    I am relatively new to ADF and JDeveloper, and so I hit a problem I can't deny.

    I have a tree table that looks like the following...

    1 status | Name | Employee ID

    -> Status 2. Name | Employee ID | etc. | etc.

    -> 3 status. Name | Employee ID | etc. | etc. | etc.

    I want to do is when I select the node from top of the line/parent (line 1) page I would like child nodes (lines 2 and 3) to choose from in the same mouse clicks.

    In the end I will be citing a listener of the property on a button, once the selection was made, to change the value of the 'Status' column in all three levels that have been selected.

    NB. each level in the tree above is derived from 3 views distinct, who are joined on the employee ID.

    Thanks in advance for your help and your advice.

    Kind regards

    Jamie.

    Hey Pierre, actually update your software would be a very good idea, you can use on your pc Desktop Manager to backup all your data, then check new software unit (Office Manager) and after your update, restore your back upward.
    Tell us how it works for you.
    Good luck.

    No, the method of selection and the mask does not have these features, but you can always do with normal brushes.

    The error message "no more virtual tiles can be allocated" appears when I try to use the effects in the quick edit mode in my 13 elements. The OK wand has to press several times for loading all effects models. The error returns when you select the particular model.

    The problem does not appear, if PH 13 items is run in administrator mode.

    The available computer resources are rather big enough: INTEL CPU i7 4 cores, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD + 32 GB SSD, Windows 8.1.

    Please, advice how to fix this problem? Perhaps, there is patch or update available?

    I had this problem with some of the choices menu in PSE13 when my drive to work was only a SSD with 53 GB of free space. I assigned a second disc of work (my data disc with ~ 2 TB of free space) and the error disappeared.

  • Select multiple items in the tree programmatically

    What is the approach recommended for selection by program several elements in a tree? There is an API on the model of selecting either TreeView.getSelectionModel () .select (t, object) to select a single item, but it is not an equivalent API to select multiple items, i.e. TreeView.getSelectionModel (.select(T...objects)).

    One approach is to expand the tree and iterate through all nodes and calculate the index of each item to be selected and then call the method TreeView.getSelectionModel ().selectIndices(int...indices).
    In my case, I want only the records that contain the selected items to be developed for an additional step is to browse all folders and the collapse of those that do not contain the selected items.

    Is there an easier approach?

    Thank you.
    Stefan

    Don't do what suggests Zonski! :-)
    These lists are read-only - you will quickly get a runtime exception.

    The best approach is to just a multiple selection to be on and then loop through the desired selection list, by selecting each element individually. Because multiple selection is enabled, select calling repeatedly will not erase the previous selection.

  • How to get the primary key of the node selected in af:tree

    Hi all

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.

    I want to get the primary key of the node selected in the af:tree element. I wrote the code below in SelectionListener:
        public void drzewkoRwaSelectionListener(SelectionEvent evt) {
            RichTree tree = (RichTree)evt.getSource();
            TreeModel model = (TreeModel)tree.getValue();
            RowKeySet rowKeySet = evt.getAddedSet();
            Object key = rowKeySet.iterator().next();

            model.setRowKey(key);

            System.out.println(rowKeySet);
            System.out.println(rowKeySet.size());
    The result looks like this:
    [[oracle.jbo.Key[5 ], oracle.jbo.Key[6 ], oracle.jbo.Key[12 ],oracle.jbo.Key[14 ]]]]
    1
    I need the values of the last 2 nodes:
    1: oracle.jbo.Key [14]
    2: oracle.jbo.Key [12]

    How can I get?

    Kind regards
    Wojtek.

    Hello

    Try this code:

    {} public void drzewkoRwaSelectionListener (evt SelectionEvent)
    RichTree tree = (RichTree) evt.getSource ();
    Model TreeModel (TreeModel) = tree.getValue ();
    RowKeySet rowKeySet = evt.getAddedSet ();
    Key of the object = rowKeySet.iterator () .next ();

    model.setRowKey (key);

    System.out.println (rowKeySet);
    System.out.println (rowKeySet.Size ());

    Object [] keys = rowKeySet.toArray ();
    List (list) = keys [0];
    Keys = list.toArray ();
    * //from the table keys, you can get according to the value you want using as: [2], [3] key *.

  • FRM-47323: no nodes are selected in the tree.

    Hi all

    I'm currently upgrading my forms 6i in 11g. 6i form is currently using the element of the hierarchy tree.
    After the form conversion, 11 g and the execution of the form I get the error FRM-47323 following "no nodes are selected in the tree.
    The same shape work very well in the environment of 6i.

    This error is not documented anywhere and am not sure why only after upgrading to 11g it gives this error.

    After debugging the code, I noticed that the following code will fail with this error:

    Declare
    .....
    current_node FTREE. NŒUD;
    htree;
    .....
    Begin
    ...... At this point, it fails with the error FRM-47323.
    current_node: = Ftree.Get_Tree_Selection (htree, Ftree.Get_Tree_Property (htree, Ftree.SELECTION_COUNT));
    .....
    End;

    Any help will be appreciated. Let me know if you need more information on this issue.

    current_node: = Ftree.Get_Tree_Selection (htree, Ftree.Get_Tree_Property (htree, Ftree.SELECTION_COUNT));

    The problem is the reference "Ftree.SELECTION_COUNT". The Get_Tree_Selection function returns the reference of the selection tree node NŒUD. The SELECTION_COUNT variable stores a number that represents the number of nodes that are selected. Its been more than a table that a NUMBER because it contains the reference of the index for each node selected in the tree. ;-)

    If you need to know which node is the current selected node, try to use: SYSTEM. Trigger_Node instead.

    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)
