Protect it moved from a USB key to a different file

I don't want to be someone sends a USB key that contains a PDF file, but I need to protect the file so that the recipient may not copy it to another drive.  I tried set file permissions so that neither impression, no changes are allowed and that copy of content is not enabled.  But the file itself can always be copied and moved.

How can I complete this final layer of protection?

All of the smaller author at Disney and Sony have found you can not control digital content and copy. It does not have an expert to drag the 50 files at a time. Proposals that computers are something that allows people to lock content down in this way years ago. People just did not buy these computers locked, and the idea died.

No, you just can't stop people copying the files. It seems that if you need DRM (Digital Rights Management). DRM isn't copied files. It is open on the files to be - stop control which, when, where you can open the files. This is a business project type (Board level) and buying, needing a server 24/7 for access verification, an administrator and other expenses; but this would bind with general corporate strategies. Adobe DRM is LiveCycle Rights Management.

The iPad does not support USB keys. There are some wireless flash drives that can be used, but not the classical records. I suggest you transfer files to a computer and their synchronization then back to the iPad via iTunes.

Please don't feel not bad not respond sooner.  I'm always notified when one of the sons that I am working on has a new addition.

I don't know if you have a specific reason to use the Linux distro you chose or if you consider a recommendation.  I used Ubuntu (prn. oo-boon-too) for several years as a dual boot with Windows.  Not only is it a great distribution, but there is a very good Forum.  Not as good as this , but very good.  The members of the Forum are very useful.  You can give it a thought.  I think they would get you to the top and run very fast.

I would like to know how to install Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 Enterprise from a USB key, please.

I'm not trying to run either on the USB key, I just need to know how to install from a USB key. I tried Multiboot, grub for DOS and other, but they do not seem to work :/

I am going through a book that uses these two to form Microsoft MCITP: Server 2008 Administrator and if I could install these Via USB, this would save my records and a lot of hassle... basically just for convenience, as everything that I need will be on a stick * lol *.

Otherwise, I'll have to use discs instead :)

  • 5.09 pheonix BIOS does support booting from a usb key? If not, is there an update that will?

    Presario SR5249UK

Your system should boot from a bootable USB key, as long as you select in the BIOS or at the time of booting as a device to boot from. What is an update of the BIOS... version 5.23 corrects the display of the configuration Menu of the BIOS for SATA Port 2 and 3, CPU microcode updates and updates v115M for MXIC SPI AWDFLASH.

  • How to enable the USB Support after that it disappeared from all USB keys on computer, so that the Webcam & printers no longer work?

My Canon printer and my HewlettPackard printer-copier-Scanner, as well as my Web Cam just stopped working, and when I checked the Device Manager, I found that (IP), (PPPOE) WAN Miniports and (PPTP) had all of their disabled drivers.   I'm unable to re - activate these drivers, and my Web Cam and printers were not included.    Restoration of the system, and many re - start didn't help.  Microsoft Fixit did not help.   Can someone please help me solve these problems?

    Hi WaggaJohn,

    1. What happens when you try to activate?
    2. You receive an error message?
    3. What happens when you connect the webcam to the computer?
    4. How the printers are connected to the computer?
    5. You are able to use other USB devices on the computer?

The WAN Miniport driver on Windows XP system allows to connect to some networks such as networks wireless large-scale.

    Method 1

I suggest that you uninstall all the software driver for the webcam and the printer to the computer using Device Manager and Add/Remove programs and then reinstall the updated driver from the printer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Please check that the programs (Ubuntu, Mint, Boot-Repair, etc.) that you attempt to use it, press the controller Atheros AR8161L gigabit ethernet in native mode. Not all operating systems and software are supported each otut device or the network configuration of the box. Several times, drivers must be loaded or injected into the operating system for a device working properly.

  • Why I can not open my qucken file from my USB key? It says the drive or network connection is missing?

I have the Quicken CD in the CD-ROM drive.  What should I do?

You need to install Quicken and let it to get all that necessary updates.  Once you do this, you should be able to open the data.  Note that if you are upgrading from a previous version, it will probably convert your data to a new format, then you will want to save somewhere before opening it with Quicken.

    Good luck.
