  • Computers provided with Windows 7 64-bit, and we need Windows 7 32 bit

Our company bought 5 IdeaCentre K300 computers from a big blue store. Computers came with W7 64-bit Home Premium preinstalled. We also purchased 5 windows whenever the PIN upgrade which allows us to move to W7 professional so we can add these computers to our domain. We have several products to launch from the part of field and will not work with the 64-bit operating system and running in XP mode just hard does not work (for these applications). The person who bought computers said the computers contain the 64-bit and 32-bit W7 Home Premium and we can switch to the 32-bit version using the OneKey Recovery utility and then run the Windows Anytime Upgrade. I have one of the computer booted several times and you press the F2 key when the Lenovo logo appeared and have only one option, the 64-bit version.

How do I get the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium for these computers?

    Thanks in advance,

It is not possible to switch from windows 32 <> 64-bit by performing the clean install of windows (with a key recovery)

You must install a clean install of windows. Download iso windows legal from the link below, then do a clean install of your computer for activation, use online activation or call microsoft.

PS: Make sure that you download 32 windows. and burn recovery discs before installation clean Windows, just in case.

You can download the drivers from the link below:

    Edit:

Windows Express Upgrade pin which allows us to move to w7 professional

You can select windows 7 32 bit while upgrading to windows. so you won't need to download/install windows 7 from iso legal.

I would like to point out something that you may not realize: Windows 8
has two interfaces; the modern/Metro Interface (which may be all the)
you have looked at) and the traditional desktop Interface. You can use
    one or both.
This traditional desktop Interface is almost identical to Windows 7
interface; the biggest difference is that there is no Orb start
Click to bring up the start menu. But note that you can get the beginning
Orb back using one of the many third-party programs, either for free or
    very inexpensive (Classic Shell to)
    http://classicshell.sourceforge.NET/ and debut8 to
    http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/; my personal preference is
Debut8, but they are both very good).
And going from one interface to another is very easy; There are
several ways, but simply by pressing the Windows key is perhaps the
easier. Just install one of these two and using the traditional
Desktop interface may be a better choice for you than go to
Windows Vista. I use Windows 8, almost exclusively with the
traditional desktop interface and start 8 installed. If you were
to view and use my computer, you would have a realization of wireless trouble
    is not Windows 7.

Note that you need to do a clean install, so lose
all data on the drive and all installed programs.

Also note that (especially with a laptop), you may need Windows Vista
drivers for it, and they cannot exist. So before you try, remember to
Check with the manufacturer of the laptop that Vista is performed on it.

No Windows version never came mind Word or any Office program as part of it. Word is available in stand-alone version which is cheaper. WordPad comes with your operating system, but a program very bare bones.

  • How I managed has installed Windows 7 on my pavilion g6-2346nr provided with Windows 8?

I disabled the secure boot and activated the legacy os support. When running the installer I get this error: missing cd/dvd device driver.  I know that the cd / dvd readers have not specific drivers. which chipset driver I have to load? I tried to download a few different Intel 7 series chipset drivers but when I try to get the installer to install it fails. Any suggestions please? I really hate Windows 8.

I found this on google and it solved my problem. It's something that I never would have guessed.

I guess that each of you is using USB key to install.

When Windows request driver, click Cancel. You will be taken back to the Welcome screen. At the Welcome screen, remove your USB key, insert back to the DIFFERENT USB PORT. Click Install now again. The installation process will be as usual.

This problem happened to the newest version of the Windows 7 Installer updated. In my opinion, it's because of the failure of Windows install to stay its detection on the USB drive. He has lost the connection and became confused, don't know where to find the USB key that he used to read before.

When we re - insert the USB, Windows install detects the rear USB and continue as usual.

Make SFC scan and check if the problem persists.

    Step 2:

Perform a System Restore to the point that it was working fine.

  • My 3-in-1 provided with Windows 8, I have upgraded to win 8.1, will not erase!

When I try Facory resurface, it indicates the missing files.  I never deleted ANY files. I don't have a recovery disk.

Your computer manufacturer should include a recovery Partition to use in situations like this, hidden, or in some cases they will give you the chance to make a recovery DVD series... Check your manual or with the support of the manufacturer of your computer to see how to use these features. Another possibility is to have your computer manufacturer Support will send you a full set of Recovery DVD. They will usually charge a small fee (under US $20.00) for these to help cover their costs. Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.
