  Changing the audio channel seems to be the cause of my problems. I have change audio channels on the video for my project it to appear on my preview window use J K L to Polish thru and it hangs and stop.

  This looks like a problem that we know. You can avoid collisions by turning off 2 Audio Preferences:

  • Maintain the pitch audio when the shuttle
  • Outputs multi-channel sum to Mono in the Source monitor

  See if your situation improves after the deactivation of these preferences.

  Hello. I'm not an expert, but I'll still try to help. first thing I would try is to check with another monitor. If this does not work I would create a ubuntu flashdrive. Ubuntu is free and open sorce os and is a good fix tempary if you need a fast computer. It is very easy to install on a flash drive.   Ubuntu.com

  Did you look for firefox.exe Task Manager process tab and plugin - container.exe? You must kill the firefox process and all processes of plugin-container you will find.
