PS Elements 13:64 - Bit Version can use 16 MB of RAM?

Hello
I want to know if the new Photoshop elements 13 is a 64 bit Version and can use my 64-bit system Mac Yosemite? Important for me is that the version can use all my RAM (16 GB) to create large panoramas. My version 11 cannot create great panoramas, because he can not use more than 3 GB of RAM.
I'm sorry for my bad English :-)
Thank you!

Andrea

In theory, pse 13 could use all of the 16 GB of ram, but in practice, it can not because your operating system / other applications need little ram to operate.

Define the use of the ram in pse 13 between 70-80% and that should give pse 13 more than enough RAM.

    Hello

I installed a Windows Business Server x 32 on ESX 2.5 on an Opteron Dual Core System. The virtual machine has 8 GB of RAM.

It must be converted into ESX 3.x (all Versions) and migrate to CPU Xeon (Quad Core). The virtual host Xeon machine, see only 4 GB of RAM on the Task Manager. Migration to host Opteron with ESX 3.5 and I can take 16 GB of RAM. VMWare Infrastructure Client shows the total RAM (8 / 16GB)

Remove the virtual computer and only use the drive hard have no change on the RAM. I see only 4 GB on Xeon system.

    Hello

I have to assume that you use the physical address Extension (PAE) to access memory outside the limit of 4 GB. To ensure that the 2003 Enterprise Edition as a Standard Edition version see only 4 GB.

Check the boot.ini for the PAE parameter If it is not present then use the BCDEdit/set tool to allow it. For more details, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa906211.aspx

Change of type of CPU is a possible reason for the deletion of option EAP, I suspect that this could be a problem because allow EAP must also the other interdependancies of CPU hardware that can cause stability problems if the OS is expecting a specific set of features CPU.

It doesn't matter that I expect that allow EAP with the BCDEdit tool will probably fix the issue.

    Good luck.

    Kind regards

  • PRE10 64-bit REALLY made use of any extra RAM?

I'm in the middle of a DVD burn on the record with elements of first 10 64-bit (installed on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit).  I have 5 gigs of RAM, but according to the Task Manager only 2.11 GB total is in use.  so... Does the advantage announced to be able to use more RAM really existed?  In theory, it should, but I'm feeling a little to chip away by what I see.

After taking a glance at all the elements of the physical memory on the performance tab in the Task Manager as well as the memory tab in the resource, monitor I realized I didn't quite understand the memory usage as I thought I did.  I did some Internet research on the topic and ran across http://brandonlive.com/2010/02/21/measuring-memory-usage-in-windows-7/ who makes a good job of clearing things up.

While the graphics memory bar in Task Manager > Performance showed only 2.11 GB used he showed as much memory being Cached. Apparently the two values must be added to determine the total amount of data actually in RAM.  The cached data is information are not currently supported by the processor and RAM to rather than writing in a file on the hard drive.  Apparently, all of my RAM (with the exception of a few MB) was in use after all.

I work with video captured VHS that was captured in H.264 format.  Since this is the SD video, I guess it would help to explain the lowest amount of physical memory actually in use than I expected.

    Live and learn...

What about the 5 GB of RAM... Yes it is a bit special.  The computer is a Dell XPS 600 older with a Dual-Core 3 GHz Pentium and bus at 800 MHz.  He had 4 GB of RAM (four 1 GB sticks).  I came into possession of a key to 2 GB of RAM and had to shoot one of the existing 1 GB sticks to use.  If the three sticks of 1 GB original more key 2 GB "more recent" gave me a total of 5 GB.

  • If I replace my 32-bit Windows 7 with a 64-bit version, can I still keep my old files, settings of the domain network and mac address?

We bought the RAM for one of our PC, an upgrade from 4 GB to 8 GB. Naturally, we must now upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Our PC is running on a domain within a university network network. We have experienced some problems with one of our PC recently, so I reinstalled Windows 32 bit (no formatting). After which I simply installed the motherboard network drivers, and with one or two small parameters we were back on the domain network. Previous data has been saved to the Windows.old folder, so we kept all our old data and re-installing Windows fixed all the problems we had.

It is therefore clear that a reinstallation of 32-bit retains all the necessary parameters to return immediately to the domain network. My question is, will an upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit also keep the settings? Apparently, the essential is that the MAC address must remain the same, which I suppose it would be?

I'm not so worried about the data, let's back up on an external drive anyway. The main concern is the connectivity of the network domain. If we lose this connection after the Windows Installation, you pay the University of departmental again it to the installation program.

If you go from 32-bit to 64-bit Windows, you must perform a cleanup

You use the factory settings or you have Visagt 64 bit from a disc of Microsoft?

Normally Vista 64 bit you should be able to use all 4GB. You have also installed all updates for Vista, especially Service Pack 2?

  • Should I expect the 64-bit version of 32bitor for my Windows 7 Ultimate? I have a Quad Core CPU.

32 bit 64 bit. Windows 7 Ultimate. Quad Core Samsung.

In general, it is preferable to use the 64-bit version, unless there are some very special reasons of not (for example, a critical piece of hardware that offers only one driver 32-bit).   He runs the 32-bit software and also allow the possibility of using 64-bit programs.  The 64-bit version can support more RAM and provides a path for growth in the longer term.

  • Windows 7 32 bit does not recognize 4 GB of RAM

I just bought a new w500 with windows 7 32-bit and 4 GB of RAM, I know that windows 7 32 bit must be able to work with 4 GB of RAM, but when I check the Windows System Control Panel 7, he said: installed memory 4 GB, usable memory 2.46).

When I check my setting of the video adapter it says 512 MB dedicated memory and 1024 MB shared memory.

I don't really know what to do, I don't know I used the 4 GB ram with windows Vista Ultimate before and it was OK.

He was everything to solve this problem? Do I have to install a 64-bit version of my windows 7 pro?

If I is there a way I can install it with the serial number supplied with my laptop, so I don't have to buy a new version of windows, I've just will download and install a 64-bit version of windows 7.

-Besides, I'm not 100% sure, but when I got the laptop, on the Panel of the system, he showed that he uses all the 4 GB of ram, after 1 day of use and when all Thinkpad and microsoft drivers updates have been installed, what happened.

now, just please help me and tell me what I need to do?

You probably need to transfer activation with something like ABR unless the key works for both versions now. Retail Vista keys worked for 32 and 64 bit version but haven't Lenovos OEM key.

Regarding your 2.46 GB of ram - I the only thing that indicate is that Windows is telling you the truth its time. There is no way any 32-bit system can use full 4 GB. Information system in Vista have generally shown only to installed RAM without showing the usable memory. They fixed in Windows 7, and now, he can tell you the exact amount can be used. But that doesn't change anything but your taking of consciousness of the fact.

Oh and when I was using Vista 32 it showed the / 3 gb in a first time and then went down to 2.46 I was installing graphic drivers. Switchable graphics driver supposedly did this and some users have reported that uninstalling / installing different drivers, but I prefer to install windows 64-bit for peace of mind.

    Hello

    Toshiba technical support:

    * There are several conditions to use all 4 GB memory on a laptop computer that has 4 GB of memory installed *.

The chipset must support 8 GB of address space.
Intel PM965 and GM965 chipsets and newer or AMD64 CPU could process up to 8 GB.
for example, the family of chipsets Intel 945 endured only upwards of 4 GB address space.

The CPU must support instruction set 64 - bit mode (Intel? EM64T or AMD64).
For Intel CPU, it could be checked on the Intel Web site: http://processorfinder.intel.com/

The BIOS must support the memory remapping feature.
The newer BIOS versions are supporting this feature.

A 64 bit version of the Windows operating system. Note: All the above mentioned conditions must be met to use all 4 GB memory on a laptop.

Your laptop motherboard supports up to 4 GB, Windows 64-bit installed. Perhaps, you must update the Bios.

And 1 thing, in the configuration of the system (administration tools), go to start, click on advanced, uncheck (if indicated) maximum memory

    Hello

    Laughing out loud

Just a single license of Windows.

You can choose which version you want to install 32-bit or 64-bit; but not as well installed.

If you want to change the version of bits at a later date, you will need to backup your data and do a clean install.

One Windows license is for a single installation.
