PS is too wide (large) to display on my iMac

I don't know what I've done, but both my My lightroom and PS CS4 are now too large to display on my iMac.  Also well vertically than horizontally.  I use them for a few years and never had this problem?  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?  I hate having to move the cursor on each side of the screen to see the panels in Lightroom and the same thing in Photoshop.

Accidentally resize you large images. Increase the resolution of the screen just temporarily so you can see the lower-right corner of the frame, then reszie children and who will keep when you restart.

If you can somehow drag the images until you see the lower right, then you don't have to change the resolution of the screen just drag the corner toward the center of the screen until you are happy with the size of the image.

Sometimes I make it bigger so I do not accidentally adjust something I dod won't settle. Probably not necessary but I do anyway.

  • Too wide display sequence

    I must have screwed something up, but I don't know what.

    I have two settings: 720 x 480 and 640 x 360. They are defined in the actual size of the images used. It worked fine before (and works in an old file - but if I import it into a new file - there still the same issue).

    It is that the display of these sequences is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too wide. I have huge black bars on the side - and, Yes, they export this way. I don't know why it is so wide when it is SUPPOSED to be as noted earlier and said it is in the info, but clearly, this isn't when it is such that it makes the images look almost square a rectangle long and lean. : S

  • When the phone's main display large monitor display area is reduced

    I have two monitors - my laptop and another, big screen. For a particular project, where I you will record a demo on a remote desktop, I want my laptop to be the main display, so I can easily access other applications and my large monitor to be the one where I discover and record the remote desktop. The problem is, once I do the laptop the main screen for some reason any viewing on the big screen area is reduced: there is a black rectangle around the Windows desktop, 3 "wide on each side and 1-1/2" up and down - which totally defeats the purpose of having a large screen on which to run the application I want to save you. I use Windows 7, with the extended display setting. Help?

    If it is in expansion mode, then you can open the screen resolution and the resolution for the external monitor to the native size (large) and it should be good.

    1. Right click on your desktop, choose the resolution of the screen.
    2. Click identify and note what image of monitor in the dialog box is made for your big screen
    3. Click this monitor in the graph at the top of the dialog box, then change the cursor to resolution at full resolution for this monitor.
    4. Click on apply.
    5. Note: your wallpaper image may not fill the entire screen, so there may still be a black border on the desktop only, but you can use the full screen area.
  • Size large text display board

    I was asked to create a large billboard - 272 in by 144- and I'm having problems with the size of the text. I cannot go until 1296 pts that seems too small. I don't know how to fix this?

    Some info the display panel is not print and DIGITAL. And I use 50 dpi.

    You are not limited by the size slider according to the size of the font.  You can enter any value you like, plus you can choose the units.  So after you have created your huge canvas which will be 36000 x 7200 pixels, you can enter characters of a size 10 inches in the font size box.  However, I just found out it seems to be a font size maximum of 900 pixels, which in your case is 18 inches high.  This _might_ be all your customer's need, but if it must be bigger, make it as big as possible and turn freely to the desired size.

    Note, you will most likely experience some performance issues with such a big canvas when free transforming the text layer.  If this happens, convert text layers to a dynamic object that resize is much easier.

  • dynamic resizing of columns too wide (javascript, CS5)

    Hey. I'm just starting to writing scripts for InDesign (and realize how I've been losing in recent years too much time). So far I managed to solve the minor issues myself, but this one I don't know enough to make round. I appreciate that what is needed for the solution is probably a pretty great piece of code, so I'm grateful for any advice you can give, just did he hint or nudge in the right direction.

    What I have is this little piece of code that comes if applies a style of cell for all tables in the selected block of text:

    var myTextFrame = app.selection [0];

    var myTables = myTextFrame.parentStory.tables.everyItem ();
    var myTableCells = myTextFrame.parentStory.tables.everyItem ().cells.everyItem ();

    myTableCells.appliedCellStyle = "NameOfCellStyle";

    What I have to do here is looking for one of the tables of myTables which:

    (1) are wider than myTextFrame (i.e., wider than the text block, they are in)

    (2) have exactly two columns

    (3) have a first column wider than the second column

    In these tables, the first column should be resized so that the table fits exactly inside myTextFrame.

    The best solution would be a dynamic resizing is not dependent on the specific numbers, because the size of myTextFrame may vary, but right now I'll settle for what it is, even if it means the creation of several scripts for text different widths of chassis.

    So there. After too many attempts failed, resulting in large part of me having very little evidence of what I'm doing, I'm about to give up. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Let's go top a step at a time.

    for (s=0; s

    If your tables have lines on the outer edge, zoom in! The right side of the resized table is inside the text frame, but his race is on the outside. If this is a problem, you probably have to subtract the thickness of the line of the available width as well. (I don't usually have this problem, because most of the time, my paintings is outline.)

  • A page of the site is too wide and there is no horizontal slider to allow access

    A site that I use on a regular basis has recently been renovated, and the new page is wider than my widescreen. There is no horizontal cursor to activate the overall analysis. I tried to minimize the screen and pulling on the side, but that just makes the larger screen without revealing more of the web page.

    Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

    Hi, try zooming with Ctrl and - key (Ctrl and + to zoom in, Ctrl and 0 for the default value). You can also hold CTRL while rotating the mouse wheel.

The black two-headed arrow appears, but it wont let me make the finer Web page. I can make it wider, however, but not what I need.

    There is a minimum width. Users have reported different values, ranging from 374 to about 400 pixels. If you need a window smaller than the minimum width, please see these discussions for how to replace the integrated with a smaller minimum:

  • Equium A100-147: large screen display resolution is not available?

    Hi, I recently bought a laptop A100-147 - accepted a view model that I had trouble getting one of them. On the beautiful screen, the screen resolution is 1024 x 768 - that it and 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 are available. This sounds awfully stretched.

    Is this correct? Or do I have to create a different graphics driver that allows me to select a screen resolution?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    According to the description of the Equium A100-147 comes with color Wide XGA TFT 15.4 TruBrite display ". The standard resolution of this monitor is 1280 x 800. If you dot have this one please install graphic driver. You can find it on the download page of Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com support & downloads.

    I can't imagine that it happens after the first start. You have preinstalled your own operating system?

  • How to display correct sRGB images in applications unmanaged Vista with a wide range of display?

    Hi all

    This isn't a simple question, and I don't expect the answers to be simple either.

    1. I have vista home premium
    2. I have a wide range of LCD, a screen with a significantly wider than the sRGB color profile (sometimes incorrectly called a display Adobe RGB)
    3. I have it calibrated with a Spyder3Elite
    4. Images look GREAT in color managed applications (including the windows photo gallery)
    5. Photos have air saturated outside color management applications, even if they are sRGB images.

    Here's what I need.  If an application is not color management then Vista should apply the sRGB profile AND map it on my monitor profile.

    What is happening now is the image is mapped directly to the color space of the monitor and let the oversaturated colors. The end result is that all images within windows and Internet Explorer are saturated. The only solution for navigation is to use a plugin to make the management of the colours of firefox or use safari.

    BTW. Even if windows photo gallery is the color of the slide show management is not argghhh.

    I have looked at the Advanced tab on the Vista color management, but did not find ANY documentation on the 'device profile' or 'View profile status' settings. They seem to be associated with what I need, but there is nothing in the help about it. What do mean? second question, sorry)

    Concerning
    JzE

    PS. I checked the color management using the 4 images at http://www.color.org/version4html.xalter. I have saved their drive and use them as a reference to quickly check if an application is successful or not color.

    I received this reply from Michael Bourgoin. Thank you, Michael, we now have at least one answer...

    Hi J___,.

    I wish I could give you some good news, but the fact is that most of the components of windows and the Windows desktop are always not color management. The Windows Photo Gallery and Windows Live Photo Gallery are the only elements of the Windows color reach the display profile. Most office applications will honor profiles embedded in images, source but then they convert to sRGB and throw it on the screen. And IE is not even honor profiles embedded in images...

    That you have determined, the settings in the color management control panel affect only the applications of color management. The settings in the tab Cpl Advanced CM are used to provide default values for the missing profiles needed for the creation of color transformation for WCS in color management applications. Again not to help.

    Regarding the application non-management of color management color "behind their backs" goes, it's very difficult to do in general. There is no easy way for the OS to tell if the color data that renders an application has already been color managed, or not.

    We have a technology called high color which will be in Windows 7 that aims to solve this problem. Color high-definition given color are first converted into a color space extended which uses the sRGB primaries, but which allows the values less than 0.0 and 1.0 above (let's call it sRGB-XR). Colourful is closely related to xvYCC and X.v.color of Sony. Range wide color data can be converted in this space with no loss. Displays (and maps) that support colourful are necessary to convert this space sRGB-XR internally to their native color space. With color high definition, the United Nations - RGB color management is treated as sRGB, which is unchanged when converted to sRGB-XR space (it's all in the [0.1] part of the encoding). But then peripheral compatible High Color will map correctly that in their native space, so the sRGB data never get oversaturated in being treated as if she was already in wide range native of screen space (as happens now). And any image content real wide range gets correctly mapped to take advantage of the wide range of the screen. The plumbing for High Color is under Windows 7. However, the Desktop Window Manager could not implement a high color support in time (this requires the use of a fixed or floating point rendering surface), if the Bureau will not use color high definition, however, in Win7. Maybe the next time.

    I would like to be able to give more excuses, explanations and communities.

    Best regards

  • Issue of smartphone: too wide and hidden at the foot of page

    RE: www.matthewmenger.com

    I just finished a website for an artist. Site was rendered in Muse and built for three platforms: desktop, Tablet and smartphone

    There seems to be a problem with the layout of the smartphone, however. The width of the layout seems to be too large for iPhone 4/4 s and iPhone 5/5 page layouts. I can slide from left to right, and the screen moves to the right and to the left. It seems to me to be more fixed.

    The big problem, however, is with the footer. The footer is out of sight on the iPhone 5/5s. I can see it only after slide downwards. To try to solve this problem, I climbed the 'bottom' and at the bottom of the browser control rods, but which have no visible effect.

    If you have experience with this issue, I would like to hear from you.

    Thank you very much!

    Here is my screenshot of the same page. Perhaps you are zoomed in a bit?

    Your footer is hidden because your page is longer than the screen.
