PSC 1315 - how to stop test page

I have a HP PSC 1315 all-in-one printer (no suffix). I keep off when not in use. Whenever I turn it on, it displays a test page.

How can I disable this feature? I have not found any help about it on the HP website.

Thank you very much

The page is printing is an alignment page printed after a cartrdige is changed.  You must complete the alignment process of loading the page on the scanner and pressing the scan button as shown in your user manual, page 33.

After changing the cartridge, we printed test page.

    Hello vancat,

If your problem is that your PSC 1350 prints a test page when it is turned on or after every printjob, it is very likely because the cartridge alignment process is not finished. After you have installed a new cartridge in the printer, it will print an alignment page. You must take this page and place it on the scanner glass (make sure that the top of the page is in a good way), then you press the "Scan" button on the printer itself. It will scan the page (that is, read the page) and full alignment process (so it is not scanning in the sense that it sends an image to the computer).

I hope that clarifies the process of alignment slightly.

  • How youprint a test page, I get only colors Blue/gray without red or yellow

new printer and ink, but do not print red or yellow

You can print a test page from Windows from printers and faxes, right click on your printer icon, selecting Properties.  There is a 'Print Page of Test' button under the general tab of the Properties dialog box.

Many printers can also generate a test page for their controls on the front panel.  Read the User Guide.

In general, the failure to print certain colors means that something is wrong with the print head or ink cartridge (depending on the printer).  Refer to troubleshooting in the user's Guide for your printer.

If you can't resolve it with the suggestions in the Guide, and this is a new printer, I would take it back.

  • How to stop a page to reload by reading it?

I read an article on a page and the whole page is reloaded with the article that I read sometimes disappears. Some Web sites will specify that reloading has been stopped, most of the No. Are there not a choice to prevent reloading without a request?

There are different methods which pages can recharge automatically.

It can be done with a refresh meta tag in the head section or via JavaScript.

If it is done through JavaScript you can use NoScript to block. I don't know if NoScript can block meta refresh. There are also elegant scripts to disable charging some Web sites like Drudge Report.

  • How to stop the pages previously loaded to refresh themselves on return to FF using other applications.

This problem is driving me crazy!
I'll take a few sites in tabs, leave FF to write an email or check my Inbox and when I come back to the FF app than the tabs to refresh automatically.
This is particularly troublesome when I visited a Web site and typed a lengthy paragraph or filled a form composed of my name, address, email, etc. etc... and when I get out of the app to FF for something else for just a second and then back to FF, I JUST want PAT IS GONE OUT with this refresh boring.
It is also a lot of time constantly be waiting for sites that I already loaded to recharge themselves.
I did some reading all this and the term "LMK" appears relevant to this question, now, is there a way to FORCE FF to use more memory or a force FF to "keep open" somehow? Maybe a topic: config setting?

I would appreciate a person 'in the know' to answer with ANY sort of fix or tweak for this.

    Thank you.

I limit the amount of background applications in the developer settings

I'm not aware of all these parameters. What I meant is to uninstall applications, you may not need urgent, or end of applications running in the background, such as Dropbox. I am sure there are others.

A browser should be a resource hog

    Should or shouldn't?
I guess that "eater of resources" is not a correct term. It is always relative to the amount of memory that your device.
How many RAM does your from?
And the sites you open consume memory as well. Just the amount of Javascript to track you may be multiple MBs.
It can help to turn on the monitoring of the protection feature.
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/tracking-protection-Firefox#w_how-to-turn-on-tracking-protection

As said before, memory is managed by the operating system. And when the memory is needed to run other applications, it can be removed Firefoxby the OS while FF is in the background. Firefox has no control over that.

Note that this is a function of Firefox Accessibility.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • How to stop a test print page whenever the HP psc 1315 printer is turned on?

Everytime I turn on my HP PSC 1315 printer automatically prints a test page.  How can I turn this off?  At the same time, I was able to print or copy without a first printing test page.

I also have Windows 7 ultimate installed with a HP PSC 1310.

He kept printing an alignment at each start page, so I downloaded and installed the installer of HP PSC 1315 all in one series printer:

    Link:

This download works for the 1300 series.

I ran the printer align cartridge utility, page printed, put in the scanner and used the button "scan" as the 'OK' button and it solved the problem.

Thanks for the tip of the "scan" button
