  I have a HP PSC1510s all-in-one series. Whenever I connect it to my laptop it reinstalls drivers create a copy of the printer in my Printers page. I have so many copies and whenever I need to select the correct copy number and once I have unplug the printer, I need to delete copies... it's a nightmare!

  I run Windows Vista.

  I understand that your printer re - installs the software for your printer Psc1510, whenever you start the computer. If the printer is disconnected from the computer, it could cause this. Here is a link to an update to fix a problem that causes the network connected printer to disappear from the system and/or the connected USB printer to attempt to reinstall several times.

  My printer is will minimize the paper.  He takes a sheet too far through reports about 3 inches and then a paper jam.  Erasing it has no effect. the same thing happens with the next sheet, etc.

  Follow the steps in the document located here for the procedure help fix and avoid future paper jams.

  If the steps do not end the question of setting, then you will need to consider alternative options. Have you thought about contacting HP Support on the upgrade program?

  The only available drivers are from the Apple software updates.

  Unfortunately there is no driver full functionality with the HP solutions Center.

  I have provided a document for installation with Maverick.

  I have now migrated to the New Zealand and the number of cartridge HP printer here is given as 93-94... but her does not work on my printer.

  New PSC 1510? Interesting... cos this very old printer. It is truly obsolete. Is not yet in production or sales over.

  in any case, you will have to call the Tech support in New Zealand and have then change the regionalization of the printer so that it accepts the cartridges of 93 and 94. Make sure you have both sets of cartridges with you before calling them.

  Have you read the solutions on the page I linked?  There are a lot of quite complex to follow, steps which none include the relocation of the printer.

  Paper jams can be difficult to find, especially if you have torn a page detached from the printer.  If you can't make it work according to the instructions of HP self-help and the printer is under warranty ("this is not an old printer') you can take to be repaired... but I suspect that maintenance this question won't be free.

  Really need and appreciate any help, my old printer HP PSC1510 everything was in one and never had any problems with it but she decided to stop black printing. It took two or three replacement cartridges until I decided it was probably bump. I have replced (and borrow at the end... doh!) with a shiny new HP Envy 5532 all singing all dancing and with web also provides access, Hhhmmmm... the only problem is it's the same as my old printer, go figure?

  Refuses to print in black, have checked and confirmed cartrdiges authentic and complete new, installed / re installed, used the HP online troubleshooting tool, checked and rechecked the settings and im done... I can't understand, please, please, please help its driving me crazy... I want to just print stuff!

  Windows 7 If this can help, tried to disable the firewall and security but still no luck.

  PS I'm thick enough when it comes to computors or ' why do manufacturers computor automatically assumes that you are a world-class programmer when it comes to pooters.

• First issue of new arrivals

  Hi everyone, I'm running a PSC1510, he had some time.  Was a good printer until yesterday.

  A lack of color ink.  Replacement cartridge.  A ran the registration and test sheet.  No yellow no printed on the test sheet.  Ran the ink loading and cleaning according to the instructions in the manual of head.  Same result.  Photo printed with lots of brown/beige/yellow inside.  None of these printed cloours.  Change cartridge suspecting the faulty cartridge.  HP cartridges incidentally.  Same result without yellow.  Inspected cartridges can see no damages.  All open intact when packages.  Cartridges from different sources.

  Having exhausted every step of the manual.  Photos write legibly but just shades of red and blue.

  Any ideas?

  Thanks Bob, I tried the hot water thing but it didn't work so I tried a new cartridge, (I had a right for the Exchange I bought yesterday) and it worked.  It seems so strange that two new cartridges show the same faul, t if I got one of them for a while.  In the future, I'll buy them as needed instead of keeping spare parts.
