  Yes, I can. The problem is to try using ASCII() in a UTF8 database to get a binary code in a string to WE8MSWIN1252. You must understand that the CONVERT function is should not be used for normal operation in the database. The channels it produces are VARCHAR2 and VARCHAR2 should always be in the database character set. If the CONVERSION target character set is not the database character set, the returned string is generally not valid (even if it contains a reasonable sequence of bytes in a character set) and may not be used in other SQL functions. CONVERT is a feature inherited from Oracle6 and must be used for the tasks of repair special only.

  It happens that ASCII('[0xFC]') returns the correct result because 0xFC is not a valid in UTF8 code and happens to be interpreted "as-is" of the current implementation of ASCII, while ASCII('[0xE4']') does not return anything because the database recognizes the 0xE4 as the first byte of a UTF-8 of 3 bytes code and returns 0 failing to have the two remaining bytes. That's generally what docs call 'undefined results.

  The path is valid only for watching the result of the CONVERSION would be to use the DUMP function.

  No it is not yet supported. You can use the Canon EOS utility and a control in LR folder.

• Convert to Adobe pdf format does not work in IE9

  When I right click and click on "convert to Adobe pdf", I get an error message when Internet Explorer 9 is installed. On the way back to IE8, the problem goes away.

• Lightroom 6 Nikon D700 will not be recognized but will be recognized Canon Rebel T5.  The solutions proposed by the Forum does not work.  Need software patch from ADOBE.  Should not have to change the camera and editing do recognize D700 by Lightroom.   N

  I posted this problem a few months before.  I don't think I got a solution to this day.  Various suggested corrections do not seem to work.  Would appreciate a software patch that I don't have to do all the elements recommended to make a function that should be automatic as with the other digital SLR cameras that I attached.   Software of the camera one could recognize the NIKON D700 and is then automatically to light the NIKPN D700 DSLR.   I would be grateful if ADOBE would have created the patch to correct this problem, which does not recognize my NIKON D700 when attached by the same cable attachment that work with other DLSRs and camera one software.

  A common mistake that you are probably aware of, is that the DNG Converter works at the FILE level. In other words, in the DNG Converter, you choose the file, but you do not open this folder. If you have selected the folder, but are still having the problem, then another consideration would be the software that was used to download the images. Some versions of Nikon Transfer seem to influence the NEF files that Adobe software cannot read. If none of these problems relate to your situation, please explain what is different about these NEF files from the previous that you were able to convert.

  • Latest version of camera raw for CS 6 is 9.1
  • Check now if your camera is to 9.1 or higher
    • Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw
  • If requires 9.2 or later, then you should switch to PS CC or use the dng converter
  • But if it is support less 9.1 then use this link to install camera aw 9.1 and then try to open pictures

  When you open the settings of the utility Scan IJ, there are 3 tabs at the top. The first tab is settings when the analysis is started from the computer, the second tab is for setting when the analysis is started from the control panel. Make sure that you change the destination folder to 'Save to PC (self)' on the second tab!

  My camera was working fine until now, and all of a sudden she decided to not work. I have 2 lenses with me, the standard 18-55 and another 75-300. On the 18-55, when I try to take photos in AF mode, it will keep the flicker of the flash but will never take a photo. I read a few posts earlier and tried to take pictures in P, Tv, AV, M modes by selecting HAVE Focus and ONESHOT and it won't take a picture. In all of these modes, if I select AI SERVO, it take pictures.

  I tried to clean my lens too, but it does not help. When I used the 75-300 lens, the camera is able to take pictures in AF with I-Focus.

  Can someone please help and I would like to know if my lens 18-55 a bad shot or can it be solved somehow.

  If the camera and the lens cannot focus even outside sunny day is certainly a problem.

  By chance you happen to own other objectives (or have a friend or a family member with a lens Canon EOS, you might be able to test on your camera body.)

  It is more likely that the development in the lens system does not rather than the camera body (because all moving parts associated with the focus system live inside the lens).

  Your camera has in fact two independent systems to focus.  The primary system is "phase detection" auto focus system  It's the fastest system and it uses sensors that live on the bottom of the camera (just below the reflex mirror).  This system is used when you use the camera normally looking in the viewfinder to take the picture.

  The other system is a system of development of "contrast detection.  This system uses the image of the camera sensor to evaluate the development.  It is not as fast as the phase detect system and must hunt for focus (a bit like a camera point & shoot) but it is true.  This system is used only when you put the camera in "Live view" (when you're using the LCD screen to compose and take the picture rather than looking in the viewfinder).

  If IT a problem with the phase-detect setting point sensors, you can put the unit in "Live view" and take some pictures.   If it works in Live View mode, but works not in mode normal (viewfinder), then the problem is in your camera.  If this does not work in viewfinder or Live View mode then the problem is almost certainly with the goal.

But today, I want to convert videos (they are all AVI and they are a little more then 1 GB when I have 5 GB free) so I added the in the program, but I was able to convert them. The convert button is not lit and I can not click on it. I have Windows Media Player 10 and Quick Time too. I don't know why it does not work. I hope someone can help.
