• Since upgrading to Mac OSX El Capitan bridge recongises more my Nikon D7100.  The D7100 only supports PTP.  Is it possible that I can use my D7100 with bridge Photo Downloader?

  Since the upgrade to OSX El Capitan when I connect my D7100 to the iMac, Apple Photos load by default while I used bridge Photo Downloader as my default application.  I can not turn off the Photos and I can't do the bridge to recognize my D7100.  According to the Nikon site the D7100 does not support only PTP and MSC.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thank you in advance.

  (1) right click on the Finder on dock icon and select the option "Go - To Folder."
  (2) you will get a text box, type in below mentioned command and then press 'return '.

  (3) it will open the etc folder, look for file named "hosts" and the same screenshot of office.

  (4) double click on the Hosts file, it will open it with TextEdit.

  Let me know if you see any Adobe related as entries in the Hosts file 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com... etc?

  All of a sudden when I try to download my Nikon D5100 RAW photos, "Convert to DNG" is gray and will not let me select it from the Photo Downloader. I'll have to use an external converter instead. Enforcement Camera Raw is also upward - do not let me open the images with command-R, recording not of the image of 5 star ratings, etc. Any ideas on how to solve these problems? I'm guessing they are related...

  Is there a Mac link on the next page.  You should be able to download the demo version of the software and then use your current serial number to activate it.

  Don't forget to follow the steps described in the Note: very important Instructions in the section on the pages of this site download and have cookies turned on in your browser, otherwise the download will not work correctly.

  I just abandoned PSE8 Windows to PSE8 Mac and can't find the Adobe Photoshop Services option in the tab sharing sharing. The "other options" link is missing. Version Mac does not it?

  Because this is the organizer of windows and for some reason any (not enough interest from users of iphoto, too difficult to port on), it has never been Organizer for mac.

  I bought Photoshop and tried to download it for several hours.  The program download cloud first, but then doesn't download photoshop.

  I made a mistake by installing bridges first (because he was on a list and says 'Install').  I had no problem with bridges.   I then clicked on "install Photoshop." It downloaded, has started to install then stopped and told to close the bridges, I did.  I clicked on install again and then said to force resignations bridges, which I did and then uninstalled bridges.  Now, I can't go back to the same alphabetical list of programs for 'try' or 'install' which ignores the installation of cloud. When I go to the download page and click here to download photoshop, it adds another and another cloud, but does not Photoshop download.

  If so, is there a problem with the app and what it shows?

  If you have a problem downloading, you don't follow all 7 steps.  as a general rule, do not carefully follow steps 1, 2 or 3 is the problem, but also, your browser must allow cookies.

  I have the new Olympus E5. I can't use the Photo Downloader in Bridge for RAW files. It is not convert ORF (RAW) files to DNG.

  Adobe updates the plugin as soon as possible for the new models of cameras Camera Raw. In the meantime, you can use a software that came with your camera.

  Could you confirm the version of the bridge you use

  What camera do you use? See the raw version of camera required for different cameras supported in Camera Raw devices

  Go to help in Bridge (menu bar) select updates to make sure it is up-to-date.

  Also you can reset the preferences and Cache Purge once

  Press in and hold the CTRL, ALT, shift (Windows) /command, Option, Shift (MAC) while starting the bridge and make check on reset preferences and purge the cache, and then select Ok

  Just updated to the latest OSX 10.8.2 and also updated to the latest versions of all available for CS5.5

  Now when I open the bridge there are several questions. The first being the Photo Downloader will download is actually more images. The buttons are simply inadequate. It's infuriating to say and I was not able to find advice on the matter. I use the latest versions of Camera Raw and Bridge.

  Second, bridge is changing the color of my screen profile. This has never happened before, so I guess it has something to do with a new update. I use a calibrator monitor (ColorMunki) to set the color of my screen and I am not interested in having the bridge or other products Adobe does not interfere with this it works perfectly so far. I've read everything available on Creative Suite color settings, however I don't find a way to load my monitor profile in the color settings options.

  I'm on a 15 "MacBook Pro which is less than years.

  If anyone can shed some light on the above questions, I would be really grateful. It ruined my workflow and I'm a bit at a loss for what to do.

  Exit the bridge and go to your user library (if not visible select the Go menu and hold down the option key to reveal the user library).

  in this library from the menu 'Préférences' find and delete the file plist Photodownloader manually (com.adobe.photodownloader.plist), and then try again.

  Also check if your cable or a card reader is working properly.

• problem with PSE8 for Mac on MacBook

  I recently bought a MacBook.  In the past, I used version 6 on an ibook with screen resolution 1024 x 768. I projected my screen on an Epson projector easily.  PSE8 is fully displayed on the Macbook, unless I set the screen resolution to its largest definition (1280 x 800).  When I do that I can't get my projector to display the entire page of items. It cuts the right part.

  When I change the Macbook screen to 1024 x 768, I can't see the entire page of items on my laptop or on the projector.

  Anyone know what is happening?  Version 8 cannot be used on a screen resolution 1024 x 768?

  Any LCD screen should always be left to its native resolution (maximum), FWIW. They do not scale well as did the old monitors CRT.
