• problem with PSE8 for Mac on MacBook

  I recently bought a MacBook.  In the past, I used version 6 on an ibook with screen resolution 1024 x 768. I projected my screen on an Epson projector easily.  PSE8 is fully displayed on the Macbook, unless I set the screen resolution to its largest definition (1280 x 800).  When I do that I can't get my projector to display the entire page of items. It cuts the right part.

  When I change the Macbook screen to 1024 x 768, I can't see the entire page of items on my laptop or on the projector.

  Anyone know what is happening?  Version 8 cannot be used on a screen resolution 1024 x 768?

  Any LCD screen should always be left to its native resolution (maximum), FWIW. They do not scale well as did the old monitors CRT.

  If someone from Adobe is followed by this forum, it is possible for the customers who bought the first Pro CS5 to have access to a fully functional copy of Premiere Pro CS4 in the meantime for corrections to two serious bugs in the version of CS5 Mac?

  This isn't a file size of small projects and I wonder how much memory you have in your system?  As the project gets larger, its looking more clips and each of those who take back a bit of memory.  If you said that you have 4 GB of memory only, I could ask to see if you could import a part of your project (maybe a smaller timeline) in a new project and see how is your overall functionality.  This memory based on the size of project is generally true for all NLE.

  Maybe you can share a little more about the system and the project.

  • number of items in film throughout the project

• PSE8 for Mac: convert to DNG in Bridge Photo Downloader fails

  Using PSE8 for Mac.  When I get RAW Bridge photos and specify "Convert to DNG" in the advanced options of the Photo Downloader, download the RAW files, but converted to the DNG format for each image.  I can convert successfully using the standalone DNG Converter, but I would use the option in the Photo Downloader that comes with the deck.  I am in contact with Adobe Support on it but not having not much of chance.  If anyone has had this problem or knows what to do?

  Also, I don't see RAW the Downloader in bridge or photos images.  They appear the blue squares with a graph of flower on them in the Downloader, as well as white squares in Bridge.  I can only see the pictures once I open the items.  Is this normal?

  It is the source of your problem. You must update the raw converter in bridge, which comes with a very old version (5.0). In bridge, go to help > updates and let it do its thing.

  Is there a Mac link on the next page.  You should be able to download the demo version of the software and then use your current serial number to activate it.

• Problem installing Adobe Flash Player for Mac Air (Yosemite)

  I got a message saying that my Adobe Flash Player is out of date. This seemed strange because I had been to access the videos of the previous hour without any problems. I went ahead and opened the Mac version download of the Adobe site setup. Installation began, and after the entry of a password to Admin, the download has reached 25% almost immediately. Unfortunately, it's been blocked 25% since then. I tried to do it again, removing the download and the re - download the update without success.   Languages are the specific serial number. You cannot change on the fly. If you have your serial number, you need to install it in English. anything beyond that is a hack as localization of the stripping app package files...

• Cannot install CS6 master collection for mac pro book (end of 2011)

  Recently, I downloaded Adobe creative suite master collection for Mac CS6.

  However, I'm unable to install it. After you open the installer that does nothing, it does not further. I have tried to copy the contents of MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg to another folder, and then open the install.app, still no progress.

  Will you please advice because I really need to install this.

  The situation is like this, I downloaded the image on my desktop pc (which is Windows) and then compress & split the image using a winrar. I then transferred the files to my mac pro book and extract the image here. Unfortunately, there was a bug in the software unarchiver that I used on mac to extract the image.

  This bug has been fixed in a release distributed by the dev today.

  Now I can install CS6 without any problem. Thanks for the replies once more.

  I just abandoned PSE8 Windows to PSE8 Mac and can't find the Adobe Photoshop Services option in the tab sharing sharing. The "other options" link is missing. Version Mac does not it?

  Because this is the organizer of windows and for some reason any (not enough interest from users of iphoto, too difficult to port on), it has never been Organizer for mac.
