  Hi richracicot! Below are a few notes about the demo Mode option on the camera A77M2 .

  • You can set this option only when the unit is powered by the AC adapter AC-PW10AM (sold separately).

  Hi all

  I recorded a video of my software, a non-interactive tutorial ( software simulation mode and record mode: demo).

  My software has a debug window showing the values that change frequently.

  In my video, I would record this debug window and do some action on it (this window has a toolbar).

  Captivate correctly save the pointer of the mouse but when i, e.g. clicking a button of toolbar, Captivate adds a legend of text (rightly) but the video stops (the values on my watch freeze).

  How can I stop this behavior?

  What I see is that we have same wireless Chipset, Tenda use Ralink or Broadcom chipsets, which are compatible with our wifi cards, then I would tell you my opinion do 1st updated drivers on your laptop, I use the latest x 64 win10, atheros version drivers 10.0.0.326, then go and upgrade your routers firmware! I don't know it will solve your problem, by the way check firmware of the laptop is the last 6,80 I think!

  I doubt that your X 2 is defective. It seems that people have had similar problems in the community of the Xoom.

  I borrowed the money a Xoom boards very similar thread (), but they still apply:

  -In the advanced wireless settings, frequency band parameter must be 'Auto' or '5 GHz only.
  -Your router should broadcast its SSID. (If another device that was never connected to your router can be seen, that means it's ok)
  -Xoom supports only the main channels in the 5 GHz band: channels are 36 40 44 48 149 153 157 161. Can you try to configure your router to one of these channels?
  -There's been new WiFi Alliance requirements: we cannot support WEP and WPA - PSK mode N.
  This means that if your router is set to N mode only (does not support a mode), you must set the security to open or WPA2-PSK. If your router is set to joint A & N and WEP or WPA - PSK mode, Xoom will not use rates of N and the maximum rate is 54 Mbps.

  Problem

  With another old Window 7 laptop also connected to the same Wifi network.
  My Acer Aspire V5 with Windows 8 with report to deliver as below:
  1. All 8 ~ 10 minutes, my wifi will turn in - limited connectivity (no internet)
  2. Happen in my home WiFi and Office WiFi
  3. Even disconnect constantly when it is connected to my Samsung Galaxy W Personal Hotspot.
  4. When the connection turn in - limited connectivity, not only internet disappeared, as I lose connection to my network drive.
     (I disconnect me when even I transfer files between the local area network.)
  I have to:
  1. use the hot key to turn into airplane Mode, then turn Off flight Mode, the connection is reactivated.
  What I did:
  • Keep Windows up-to-date
  • Download the latest driver site Acer Wifi
  • Uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
  • Set the connection to 'Non-metered connection'.
  • Change the router Wifi Mode of 'mixed' to "G only".

  The problem has always poison my new PC in Windows 8.
  * I spend TWICE airplane mode when I submit this post.
  The acer site has two sets of drivers - one for windows 8 and another for windows 8 upgrade to windows 7. Have you upgraded your operating system to an earlier version of o/s?

  You're talking about simulations for software training? I started to use Captivate specially for this feature to offer interactive property to my students to college quite a few years.  I was teaching a lot of software applications. Captivate allows its easy to capture such a simulation and I recommend it to enter immediately in 3 modes: demo, training and evaluation. You will get three files, with a growing interactivity. You can combine the files into a single file, with a menu "Show me", "Let me Try" and "Test me". It will need to edit the slide, probably to add the audio (voice) and slides of the statement, but a large part of the work is done by Captivate with an appropriate set upwards. Choose a theme, because the use of object styles are always in a theme. For software simulations, it is important to know that the slide model used is the empty slides model, do not mess this one to the top.

  I recorded three modes (demo, training and evaluation) at the same time and no problem with that.

  What I would like is the learner to go through step 1 (demo), and directly after come in step 2 (training) and the last but not the least, step 3 (evaluation).

  My problem is that I don't really know how to "merge" the set modes (looks that each mode has turned into an own project if you know what I mean.)

  What I need to save each project mode in a certain format, or how to do this?

  You have 3 folders open 3-legged.

  Select all of the slides in the Fillmstrip of the sim card of training with CTRL-A and

  copy (CTRL-C). Go to the demo tab, select the last slide in the

  Fimstrip, paste the copied slides. Same workflow for evaluation slidrs.

  There are several major differences between Video Demo (pure demo, only the output to a video format) and a software simulation, which can be interactive and also used as an assessment because you can capture such a simulation according to three modes: demo, training, assessment. I recommend always to capture the three at a time, you will be able to combine slides in a single file later. Even files are different; CPVC for demonstration video which has its own editor and cptx for a simulation application.

  A simulation will always be one slide per step, which makes it much easier to edit, add voice-over and other objects compared to a normal process of editing video. The default settings for slides are 3 seconds for the user, the experience will be like if he's watching a movie because the transition between slides is smooth. Timeline will never exceed 3 seconds unless you add items later, change the duration of the timeline. It is mostly unnecessary, because in a simulation of training each slide automatically gets an interactive object that goes to pause the slide and prompts the user to 'do' something.

  Timeline for cptx-files is the most important to learn feature and I find it very strange that most of the books of Captivate seem not to start with it. Training must start with themes of preferences, Style of object manager, and then focus on the Timeline.

  PS as for your original question: no wildcard in advanced actions. You can filter drop-down lists on "click_" and only objects will appear then (in CP6/7) but you will still need a single statement by click box unless you group boxes click on a slide (impossible to group objects sitting on different slides).
