Public Flash Access DRM examples?

Hi all

I'm testing Flash access DRM media in video players based on Adobe OSMF (Open Source Media Framework).

Anyone would be able to provide me with the URL of the assets of the public test of digital RIGHTS management? (I hope for a short shortcut generating them myself.)

Thank you

g

Hi Greg,.

You can find examples of content at the following locations.  All assets have been encrypted using Flash Access and use one of our licenses to the public servers.

  • AIR Android with DRM Flash access 3 (workflow DRM client-side)? Help

    Hello

I'm trying to manage DRM encryption for video with Flash Access 3.0 on Air for Android (or the profile of the mobile device). I looked around and found no far no awnser.

I know that Flash Player on Android devices is not supported by Adobe Flash Access, but it looks a little different on AIR Android app, but where there is a moment that I don't understand and I can't find any answer or examples.

How to manage the workflow DRM API for AIR Android with frame AIR?

So far, I've done a video playback custom AS3 (such as StobeMediaPlayback), and I'm playing:

    1. (encrypted) encrypted-> http://drmtest.adobe.com/content/anonymous.f4v video and its metadata http://drmtest.adobe.com/content/anonymous.f4v.metadata
    2. and not a video encrypted-> http://drmtest2.adobe.com:8080/Content/unencrypted.f4v on an Android device with AIR frame.

What I understand according to what I found this, this forum, there are a few different workfows to manage DRM:

#1-FMRMS (Flash Media Rights Management Server) before Flash Access:

    -NetStream.play()

    -NetStream.Authenticate)

Adobe said tha the workflow that the above is no longer recomanded, as we now have Flash Access

#2-accès flash (Flash Player or AIR Desktop):

(without the authentication token) anonymous (with the authentication token)

    1. get drm metadata

    2. organize DRMContentData class metadata drm

    3 DRMManager.loadVoucher)

    4 NetStream.play()

    1. get drm metadata

    2. organize DRMContentData class metadata drm

    3. identify metadata this video requires authentication

    4. prompt the user for information for identification and call DRMManager.authenticate)

    5 DRMManager.loadVoucher)

    6 NetStream.play()

    more information: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/as3/dev/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d118666ade46-7ce3.html

Both use the DRMManager class in which you can use loadVoucher to apply the GPO, of the DRMContentData for a multimedia file protected by DRM

    #3-flash Access 3.0 (mobile AIR 3.2):

But in AIR environment for mobile device, I can't find information to a workflow for DRM Flash Access. The official documentation say that the DRMManager class 'it is not supported on mobile devices. You can test the support at run time by using the DRMManager.isSupported property"(source: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/net/drm/DRMManage http://Hotfile.com/dl/714028/a47ed1a/the.Lord.of.the.rings.Conquest.Razor1911.part01.RA ). For now, when I test my drive DRMManager.isSupported, the back is 'false'.

Is there a way to manage a DRM for AIR mobile player without DRMManager class? What is the good workfow for this? Or maybe, I confused with something. I think some people have managed with DRM on mobile AIR implemtnation...

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Let me rephrase & start over.  I would NOT say that defining accessories custom in the work of politics, while fixing accessories personalized license server does not work.

Everything that is done during the time of creation of policy may be replaced by the license server during the time of licensing.

With the help of AdobePolicyManager.jar, there are 2 properties that you can set to create custom accessories:

    policy.customProp

    policy.license.customProp

On the side of license server, you can access policy.customProp by (I think) Policy.setCustomProps ().  You can access policy.license.customProp by the several steps I described.

Of these 2 places to set custom accessories, policy.customProp is not visible to the client using ActionScript.  Only policy.license.customProp is visible and NOT of policy.customProp.  This is a known bug in Adobe and there is no public official documentation on this issue, except through this forum ad, as it has been recently discovered internally that we issued support without letting go of server-side support on the client side.

  • Google TV for Flash Access support

    Hello

I'm testing some Google TV devices (Sony NSZ - GT1 and NSZ - GS7).

I would like clarification on the question of whether or not the provided on these devices with Google Chrome Flash plugin supports Flash Access.

After the Flash access FAQ (http://www.adobe.com/products/adobe-access/faq.html), "desire of Adobe Access works with Adobe Flash Player 10.1 or later". Given that the version of Flash on these devices is a hybrid of 10.1/10.2, hoping that Flash Access would work.

However, I did several tests and I wasn't able to make it work.

For the first test, I used the Flash Access test site, specifically http://drmtest2.adobe.com/AccessPlayer/player.swf (player.html didn't load the Flash application unfortunately)

For the two devices, I got the same result - when you press the icon of reading to the SVP, "State of flow" said 'play' and 'Protected DRM' 'no '. The video does not play.

In addition, for both devices, when you press "Load DRM Metadata" in PST, I received an "Error #1009'.»

The UDC reported the Flash version as 10.2.164.128 for the 10.2.164.113 for the NSZ - GS7 and NSZ - GT1.

For the second test, I used a local built & hosted locally OSMF sample player, version 1.5 (taken from http://svn.code.sf.net/adobe/osmf/svn/osmf/tags/1.5gm/apps/samples/framework/OSMFPlayer), configured with the video example from the Flash Access test site (http://drmtest2.adobe.com:8080/Content/identity.f4v)

As a reference I first tried a PC desktop browser flash plugin, and in this case I received a prompt for the user name and password; After entering these, the video played with success.

However, when I tried this from the Chrome browser on both devices, even if the responsible OSMF player I was never presented to the prompt for the user name and password.

Since there is no debug Flash player for Google TV, I was unable to investigate further with the device.

Any clarification or preview support for Flash Access on Google TV would be appreciated

    Thank you

    Alex.

    Thank you for further testing.

  • renewing the Flash access Certs when an HSM is used

    Hello

our operations team encountered a potential problem in the process of renewal of certificates Flash Access for

HSM has when not in use: old CERT is referenced in the FA config file so that they can be used to decrypt content that was encrypted with the old certs. We have done in the past and works very well.

When an HSM IS used: the FA config file must be able to reference the old certificates stored on the HSM. It seems that the FA application is unable to do. It is not possible to remove the private key of the HSM and so there isn't an option to store the old certs locally on the license server (not that we would like to do that anyway).

I don't know if it is an option to point to the HSM AF to look the CERT. Any ideas how this can be done?

    Thank you

    Rodrigo,

    [When HSM is not used]

When you renew your certificates, you still référenceriez your old certificates in your license server configuration.  For example, it would be one of the properties to be changed:

    #HandlerConfiguration.AdditionalServerTransportCredential.1 = transport.pfx

    # The server transport credentials file password * see note above regarding passwords *.

    #HandlerConfiguration.AdditionalServerTransportCredential.1.password = [password]

    [When HSM is used]

Do you the same as above, but the properties to change are:

    #RefImpl.HSM.HandlerConfiguration.AdditionalServerTransportCredential.Alias.1 = [transport_c ert_alias]

    #RefImpl.HSM.HandlerConfiguration.AdditionalServerTransportCredential.Alias.2 = [transport_c ert_alias]

  • Flash Access 3.0 - use 'key rotation.

    Nice day.

I want to package happy FA 3.0 - Flash access package and direct Packer (FMS 4.5).

I want to use the "rotation of key" to change the encryption key. I don't understand, how to use it.

Could you give some examples how to use this option for Flash access package and live Packer (FMS 4.5).

    Thank you

1 correct.  If you do not statically specify your rotation keys, they will be generated randomly.

    2. a license for a specific content still works for the content, no matter which key rotation, there is currently on.  There is no crypto - feedback loop, as a mode of AES - CTR or similar.  However, a license for content won't work for contentB.  This is why it is important to make sure THAT DO not reuse CEKs when packing a different content.

Your comment above should not happen:

another content, encrypted with even main keys but rotation different keys

Please do not use the same "master key" (CEK) on different content.  Either leave the SDK to access Adobe randomly generates a uique CEK for each content, or if you specify the CEK yourself - make sure they are always unique.

  • Is there a way to get programmatic access to political information for flash access?

Looking for just the information above for purposes of test automation.

    Thank you.

    Hello

In fact, 'policies' that can be retrieved from DRMVoucher are simply "custom properties" and "rights custom" that can be set in the license server.  Please see the following Javadocs 'ApplicationDefinedRight' and 'ApplicationProperties '.

    ApplicationDefinedRight: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashaccess/2.0/javadocs/com/adobe/flashaccess/sdk/rights/Appl icationDefinedRight.html

    ApplicationProperties: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashaccess/2.0/javadocs/com/adobe/flashaccess/sdk/util/Applic ationProperties.html

These are personalized (not defined by Flash Access) properties and rights that the customer can choose to implement and apply in their application.  For example, Flash Access currently has only one right, called "Playwright", with several constraints, attached to the right, as the Expiration, OutputProtection, PlaybackWindow, etc...  If the customer finds the need for a law, not supported by FlashAccess, like "AllowCopyToProtectedFlashCard", and then you set your own "ApplicationDefinedRight".

Don't go back to your question - there is no way to analyze the political content of Flash Access programmatically (via AS3).  The thing the closest it would be to analyze the content of the license, once the license server issues a license (see DRMVoucher methods).  The only downside is that while licensing issues Flash access Reference Implementation server exactly as specified in the policy, there is no guarantee that the content distributor has not change the code of the license server to change some rights and restrictions (because of business rules), licensed to result emitted which does not correspond to the original font.

  • Printing problem after having a respectable public network access

My laptop (Dell Vostro 1500) was printing very well using a (printer OKI C5100) wireless network at work but I went to the hospital and connected to their public to access the internet network and when I came back the next day to work, my computer can connect to the internet through the network of my work, but can NOT print. When I try to print, it says 'Server Offline'.

It is the second that it happened but before I made a restore point and everything was good but unfortunately with Windows 7, Restore Point is very limited so this time, I can not go back to a date before that I accessed the public network.

    Hello Ruth,.

I went to the site of Oki and found a page color here C5100n printer: http://my.okidata.com/pp-C5100n.nsf/openingdrivermenu?OpenFrameSet . Note that Windows 7 is not a supported operating system. So, you will need to run it in Compatibility Mode. To do this: go to the program icon or file that you use to print from the printer, right-click on it and select Properties. Go on the top row of tabs up until you get to the Compatibility tab (usually the next most) and select.

On the Compatibility tab select run in compatibility mode and select Vista or Vista64, depending on the depth of your system Bit (Tip: go into Control Panel, select system, look for system type: line in the 1st info box). Check other options if you want / need them. Then click on apply, then OK to exit. Disconnect and reconnect, try printing.

Let me know if that solves the problem.

  • Problems with Flash Player 11 and Flash Access 2.0

Hi, we saw some problems with the last Flash Player 11 RC (6 September 2011) and Flash Access 2.0. We do not realize that it is a RC, but we thought it would be useful to raise this issue anyway.

When contacting the license server that Flash Player 11 made a request to the url/getServerVersion/v3, since this end point is not implemented at the request and the license acquisition failed. Endpoint getServerVersion appears to be introduced with Flash Access 3.0 and not something we can implement in our current configuration with Flash Access 2.0. Flash Player 11 will be compatible with Flash Access 2.0? If so, what to do, we do to solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Johan

Flash Player 11 sends getServerVersion demand to determine the features of the Flash Access License Server. If you run a server 2.0, it should return a HTTP 404 error, because it does not support this endpoint. The client understands that it communicates with a server Flash Access 2.0, and transmits the application accordingly. In other words, the fact that your server 2.0 does not support getServerVersion shouldn't the license acquisition failure.

Your server responds to the request of getServerVersion with a 404 error? After the request of getServerVersion arrives at your server, you should see another application for a license. In your server logs, you will see errors in the treatment of licence application?

For anyone interested in creating an AIR application to read DRM on the Samsung Smart TV content. Below, was the response of Samsung Dev team:

    Hello

According to my knowledge, we cannot play DRM content with Adobe Access using AIR, you can only do in RTMP/RTMPe using flash. AIr is supported with the Flash.

when i check again from my windows http://10.4.80.21:8080/flashaccessserver/flashaccess/license/v1 i see :

License Server is setup correctly.      Total successful requests = 0 requests in 0 ms.      Average response time = 0 ms. Average throughput = 0 requests per sec

still is ok, so i check manager on windows, i run it and in field Packager Server URL i set http://10.4.80.21:8080/, close aplication and run again, on start i have screen with message :

    FAULT
    Cannot populate packager preferences.
    HTTP request error
Packager Server may not be running at specified location

What i missed or doing wrong ?

Perhaps the problem is that the server packaging (flashaccess - packager.war) can not find flashaccess-refimpl - packager.properties.  Instead of setting your classpath "/ usr/tomcat/resources/flashaccess-refimpl-packager.properties", please specify the folder that contains the property file: ' / usr/tomcat/resources. If you still see the same "cannot fill preferences Packer', error please check the logs on the server to see if there is additional information about the error.

  • What the public's access to knowledge base articles?

Yesterday, January 25, 2011, I could go directly to an article in the knowledge base such as:http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=973687 or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968749 and he would take me directly to the article.

Today, January 26, 2011, I get a page titled "Microsoft Support" that has the link in the address bar, but nothing useful on the page.

If I select advanced search and search for kb973687, I get a list of success but if I select a great success trying to go to the KB article I will return less useful page.

    I missed the memo?

At the same time as you had problems, I had problems as well.

This problem seems to have corrected itself as I can connect now using the links you provided.

    See you soon,.
