  I developed a public page where I want the list of items from a view. It must be a classic report because of the template I want to use later.

  I used this query in an interactive report without problem on a page with authentication. Of course, I edited the page ID in the P3_ARTI_BILD element

  I have a region of the page that is based on pl/sql. This region is actually the recovery picture stored in the table as a BLOB.

• public page is not available to the public - access instead of the error.

  I have a work request. actually, I have the same copy of the work plan WITH SSO application and the other using the scheme of authentication and authorization of apex. Both work very well. With the exception of the logout page. I create a page(#62), without tab. Just a simple HTML form that has a disconnect message. I do the authentication of the page the value "Page is public" and save. I did this (try to diag) in two of these applications and in 2 different installations of the apex.
  
  However, when I'm not connected in the app, and I'm on this page, I get an "error: access denied by Application security control" message.
  
  I'm just trying to go to the URL http://xxxxxxx:8090/apex/f direct? p = 110:62:0:, or just http://xxxxxxx:8090/apex/f? p = 110:62 (page 62 is the page I created and defined as public.)
  
  It is in the apex 4.1.1. I think it should be very obvious as to why it does not, however, I'm puzzled.

  Hey 12602240 - the problem I think you touch is not at the level of the page but on your level of app. If you go to the properties of the application, it seems that you have a system of authorisation required at the level of the app. If the page you are trying to do is after they log out, you may need to allow ANYONE to access your application to get the public pages (or take off clearance at the level of the app).

• public page with "connect" button

  I created an authentication scheme that is customized in my app that works very well (when I navigate to the login page and submit my login and my password, I can see a text "Welcome TDUIN (logout)" at the top right of a page). When I navigate to a page public when not connected to this place there is a text "logout". Is it possible to change this to a text "identifier" on a public page available with a link to the page of connection and then, being connected, it says 'Welcome TDUIN (logout)'?
  
  I tried searching how do on the forum, but couldn't find how do. Can someone help me? I'm on 4.0.2 Apex.

  The "Logout" link, you mentioned is usually a navigation bar entry.

  You will find all entries in the Navigation bar to "* components shared-> entries * Navigation bar.

• Inorder to get what you asked for, you can condition the entry of the navigation bar to "Disconnect", choose "* the user is authenticated *" option for that.
  
• Create a new Navigation entry (or copy the entry Logout and edit the new it) with a label "Login" and leave the point of URL link to the Login Page. Subordinate this entry too with option as ' * user is the user Public. " Then one of these entries appear at the same time as the terms are mutually exclusive.

  Hope that was clear enough.

• Session 0 (zero) and public pages

  Hi gurus of the APEX.
  
  I have some difficulties with public pages and the session 0, in combination with tabs.
  The problem occurs when I click on some of my tabs. For some reason any session 0 is replaced by the id of the session itself. This only happens for some tabs. When I go back to the previous tab, session 0 I I return the URL...
  
  I tried to reproduce this problem in a new application, but I am not able to reproduse this behavior :(
  
  I use APEX version 3.2.1.00.12 and I use only one level of tabs.
  
  Can anyone give me a tip or an idea how I can debug this problem?

  you need to 'engineer' a little your tabs and pages:

  <a href="f?p=APP_ALIAS:#TAB_NAME#:0" class="current" title="#TAB_LABEL#" #TAB_INLINE_EDIT#>#TAB_LABEL#</a>
  

  Tab names must match alias of page otherwise it will not work.

• strange behivor on public pages with automatically filled the field

  I created a page (APEX 3.0) where I have two field, name/wwid, name is a LOV, when I choose the LOV NAME, the page is automatically populated with wwid field, I followed this thread (used AJAX...) and it works fine as LONG AS I'm not the public page, but when I make it PUBLIC, it no longer works, the field wwid always returns null it

  Of course

  In your javascript, you have something like this:

  get var = new htmldb_Get(null,&APP_ID.,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=getDet',0);

  The value 0 is the page number. You can edit your public page, and then it would be pointless to have a public page 0.

  Try and tell me if it worked.

• Publish webservice on a public page LV

  Does anyone have an idea on how to publish a web service to the public, a Web page not only an ip address on the same network.

  Let me give you some background, I am developing an Application that includes a web service that will publish a picture of façade to a stand-alone web site.  I have done web service and will include the example OR that it has been made from in attachments. What I want is to be able to see outside my network.   I have a dns address and my router is configured to forward from a certain ip address, for the purpose of the present discussion allows you to call this address 127.10.10.5, the domain name.  I don't know if it is possible to make this native for LabVIEW, but I'm in the island that is.

  Does anyone know the next step?

• Problem of sorting for the report public pages

  Recently, I ve met a strange behavior with a standard sql, in a page (unauthenticated) report "public":
  When a sorted user report on one of the columns, all other users got their report sorted on this column even.
  
  I have reproduced this situation several times (including the http://apex.oracle.com):
  
  1 to the sample application to create a new blank page without tab.
  2. edit this page and add a sql report region, using the "standard" model
  For this purpose, a query that returns the columns 3 or 4 of the customer table will be enough.
  Make sure that the sorting is available on several columns.
  3. edit the properties page and in the section security value "Authentication" "Page is Public" and run the page.
  4. on another browser go directly to the page.
  5. back on the browser where you were 'edition' click on one of the columns to sort.
  6 refresh the second browser and the sorting is now the same as in the first.

• is it possible to have a public page with optional authentication?

  I want to have an application that will advise users to access all the pages, without the user having to connect. On its own, I know how to do this. However, I also want to give the user the ability to perform specific actions, if they authenticate themselves. The feature I'm after is very similar to this forum, the public can read all discussions, but to post you need to connect.
  
  This kind of thing is possible in the APEX, if so, how can this be?

  It is quite possible and very easy to do.

  One of the conditions as the APEX supplies is "the user is authenticated (not public). You can use this condition on the buttons, the elements, the regions and the process which will require a user to be authenticated to your application. There is also the opposite condition, if you want to display items or areas that will be displayed to unauthenticated users.

  Thanks to this wonderful examle, I could make my lov cascading.
  
  However when I do the public page, the second lov (which is based on the first) does not work.
  
  Inorder to debug I changed to get.get () get.get ('XML') and put an alert on it; to check if the string of the selection list is correctly returned by the application process - it returns null. The alert even returns the string from the selection list when I set the authentication on the page.
  
  Also I noticed that when the page is public the application (TAB_CASCADING_ITEM) item is not be filled with the value of the first selection list.
  No matter who has encountered the same problem?
  Appreciate any suggestions?

  One of the parameters in the htmldb_get is the page on which the process is running. You should change this to the current page or make public page 0 as well.

• Why do I get this message when I try to return to the previous page? "object moved here."

  It's so boring. I use ancestry.com a lot and after I watch a census or a person on ancestry.com, I try to use the left arrow to return to the page that I started on the screen turns white and it says "object moved here." "Here" is a link, but it does not work for me back to the page I want. I have to use the arrow back several times and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, so I lift all over again. It's so boring!

  It's probably a problem with the site and you will have to contact them and ask them to fix it. But a link to a public page where it happens and allows us to reproduce the problem can be useful.

• 11.1.2.2 OAM: Custom Login Page Timing out until the Timeout of Session value

  Hi all

  We are facing a weird problem in our application in which the custom login page is time in 15 minutes, although the session timeout has been configured as 65 minutes.

  All the world is facing this problem in the past?

  Here are the details -

  WebGate level "Max Session Time" = 60 minutes

  OAM Console - common parameters "Idle Timeout" = 65 mins

  The user will not be used on the page of connection custom for 20-25 minutes and after then tries to connect, it is redirected to an error page that says "system error, please contact your administrator '."

  Strangely, the application for which OAM SSO has been implemented honours timeout values.

  Newspapers -

  Error occurred during the processing of the request.

  Supplemental details java.lang.RuntimeException: authentication request has expired. Eapsed time in min: 79560

  at oracle.security.am.controller.BaseRequest.updateObjectWithCachedMap(BaseRequest.java:482)

  Research already done

  OK after all those hours was finally able to work around this bug as explained weird Oracle in the SR-

  Add a metatag as following one behindin the login page customized.

  The value of 890 seconds comes:

  The downtime of 15 minutes set by OAM seconds is:
  -Online (15 * 60 = 900) less (tolerance of 10 seconds time)

  If the user remains now 890 seconds on the custom login page, the browser will bring returns to the public page as defined by URL (http://host.example.com/public/public.html).

  
  

  I still have no idea why the custom login page times out after 15 minutes, where Oracle is set this value to "hard",
