publication in pdf format problems

I just looked at using Captivate 5, when I

publish to PDF - I get the lines in the document.

Why they are happening and how can I get rid of them.

Thank you

Hello

You can try unchecking the option of compressing project advanced in preferences > project > size SWF and quality? Then publish and try?

Thank you

I use the current trial of Acrobat DC version. I opened a PDF I created in Corel Draw by publication in PDF format. I tried to copy and paste text from it to a Word 2007 document. The copy option was available, but when I went to the document and chose paste, it was nothing. I then tried the same thing but sticking in a document of Corel. The same problem. It seems that the text has been copied, but I'm unable to paste it into another program. Is this real?

Is it permanently available text? (Can highlight you)?

This seems a strange way of working well - why not copied from the draw to Word?

You can create a preview PDF of your photobook by Ctrl-clicking on the empty space betwwen discovers the pages in the Pages of 'all '.  Select "Save book as PDF" in the context menu that appears.  Then send this overview to your printer.

  • Problems saving in PDF format

    What is this?.png

I am trying to record a brochure in PDF format.

Essentially, when I export to PDF, these weird lines appear on the PDF document (shown in green on the top).

However 100% in Photoshop, they are not visible (2 pictures below).

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem / what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks a lot guys!

Well, you have used transparency and belnding modes and such things must be correctly flattened in order to maintain its appearance and/or requires treatment appropriate overprinting in Acrobat. Merge layers manually, check the flattening settings in the PDF export presets and / or use the printing processing tools in Acrobat to rectify the issue and check what it will actually look like when printed.

I installed Adobe Pro DC yesterday and now I can't convert my email in pdf format.

I have the following message: Acrobat PDFMaker has detected problems in the installation.  Please repair/reinstall Acrobat.   How can I fix this?

  • Problems of conversion of a Web page in PDF format.

We have a user who is using "Adobe acrobat X Pro", and when it uses the function to convert website to PDF it captures any page, such as tables.  If another user connects and does the same thing, he seized the entire page without problem.  Is there maybe a permission that can be governing its access to capture the entire page?  I would be grateful for any suggestion.

Save a Web page does not work identical to print in PDF format.

Things like the images of background, CSS Styles and iFramed items (like tables) will not save, but they will BE printed.

  • Problem of image quality when you print the brochure in PDF format

    Hello!

I searched the whole web, trying to find a solution for my problem, but I couldn't find anything...

I created a vertical page A5 document in InDesign CS6, filled with high quality photos. Now, I want to print in a brochure (in PDF format) in order to save it and print it in a professional facility.

The problem is when I do this, the image quality turns out to be terrible...

I checked my print settings and I can not find something wrong...

Installation - A4 horizontally, and Graphics - Images - send data - is set to all.

Is there anything else I can / try? What can I do it wrong?

Here is a picture of my print settings:

    printsettings_ind.png

When I export the document normally in format PDF the image quality is fine, but it doesn't have the booklet layout I need, it exports all single A5 pages one after the other. If I try to print this pdf file as a booklet in Adobe Reader, the same thing happens to the images, they lose quality.

    Help, please!

    Thanks :))

Have you checked withthei 'professional establishment' as to what they want. Printers will not, in general, impose you the document. It's their job and they do it in a way that corresponds to the study and the equipment they use for printing.

That said, your problem with low quality images is probably the default PDF settings. Change them to something useful in Pringter in the Windows properties, or click the settings button in the print dialog box to access the driver from there and set them as you want. I'm sure that when the default installed PDF printer is 'standard' gives you the output of RGB 72 ppi.

  • Image editing problem in pdf format

Downloaded trial versions of Acrobat Pro XI and Photoshop Elements for Mac.  Attempted to change the image to PDF format by invoking Photoshop Elements via the "Edit Image" dialog box.  Acrobat called Photoshop Elements, but PE does not load the image.  No idea why?

This is not a problem with Acrobat.

Try these steps and let us know if it helps.

When you select open with, a file selection dialog box is displayed.

GoTo Adobe Photoshop elements 11 (or whatever version you have).

    Click support files.

    Select Adobe Photoshop elements Editor.

  • Printing problem in PDF format

I tried a few different 3rd programs to print to PDF, but keep the errors. The goal is to print the .vi façade to a file identified by program. Screenshots fo that errors are attached.

    I tried Bullzip:

    Error 1172

    And Exaprom:

    And the PDF Creator:

    https://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-4552

    Error-2147221164

I tried to reinstall the programs, the creators of pdf and the .NET framework, but I'm missing something.

    I use LV 2014 on Windows 8.1.

    Thank you!

    Hi COIEngineer,

I installed and opened the BullPrint example and was able to reproduce the error you receive when I pointed to a file .vi directly, but was able to print successfully when pointed at an image file. Could possibly feel in a jpg file, print this file in pdf format, and then delete the original (if you do not want the original file).

This error is generated when the pdf printer is not sure how to handle printing of the specified file type.

  • PDF format without pinch and zoom

    Hello

I use PDF format for set my publication, but default pinch and Zoom in PDF format is available.

How can I disable the pinch and Zoom by using the PDF format? Is it possible?

    Thank you very much

    Enrique

In the Adobe Content Viewer, no. In your lightbox custom, Yes.

When you create your Viewer, you can disable "enable taken & Zoom". This problem affects your applications together.

When you create or update your custom Viewer, make sure that you uncheck the enable PDF zoom option in the DPS App Builder.

  • Inherited in Kindle Viewer handling PDF format sheets

I work with a client to publish a magazine on Kindle Fire. The magazine, a bimonthly, is available on the iPad since over a year now. All the slips that we have produced for the iPad are in PDF format. (Which turned out to be a good decision, as they will display well on the new iPad.)

We will produce a rendering of 1024 x 600 for the Kindle goes forward. However, all folios inherited appear in the library of the Kindle reader and are not legible. The player displays an error when you try to open one of the old folios. ("This folio contains one or more PDF chimneys that are not yet supported... »)

I want to prevent some frustration for our readers here, but we do not have the budget or time to rebuild all folios inherited as documents of 1024 x 600.

The Kindle displays properly folios focused on the 1024 x 768 PNG by adding bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Is not ideal, but sufficient. If we were to shave a few pixels - say 4 or 6 - width legacy folios and rebuild them as folios PNG-based, the difference would be enough for the Kindle to recognize these "renditions" and load it instead of the full-size folios? And the iPad would ignore the slightly narrower folios? That would allow us to solve the problem without having to redraw the value of a year of magazines.

Thanks to Adobe and Amazon to work with the Kindle viewer questions. Can't wait to see our publications on both platforms soon.

    SB

If you configure the "renditions" (same sheet name, different values of the size) between folios, it should work. Try to shave a pixel and creating a 1024 x 767 folio and the source of the documents. It certainly will not be displayed on the iPad (viewers iPads folios only 4:3 aspect ratio display), and if you set up "renditions" correctly, the folio of 1024 x 768 will not be displayed on Android.

  • How to open files in pdf format .php. Can do in Safari, and not in FF

I tried to open a file from a web page that downloads as a .php. When I open it, it happens like jibberish (for me), not in pdf format. If I use Safari, it happens in pdf format in the appropriate format.
    Thanks in advance.

You can rename the file in the Finder and add a .pdf file extension if the vehicle currently has a .php file extension.

Better still is to check the file name when you download and save a file to make sure that the file has the correct file extension to avoid these problems.

  • When I select the share on a WORD doc link in Dropbox, Firefox SENDS it in PDF format. Why?

I have the documents in Dropbox I share with others. Most of the time it works. However, when trying to share a single file for a particular email the original WORD document appears on my screen (until I pressed SEND) in PDF format. When the person receives the invitation of Dropbox and press the link in his Inbox, WORD file appears also in PDF format. There should be no PDF anywhere in this transaction.

Dropbox has a feature of practice to preview the DOC files to PDF in Firefox built-in PDF Viewer. It is convenient, but can lead to this problem that you eventually download the document in PDF format instead of a DOC file.

As long as the recipient is using the download button on Dropbox toolbar above the Viewer (see screenshot attached comparison), the beneficiary must obtain the original instead of the preview format.

    What is the question?

  • Firefox 7 will not open pdf documents. Makes it completely unnecessary given the large number of documents that are in pdf format. How can I get my pdf files to open?

I tried a ton of help from older suggestions. I can't find a cure for this problem for Firefox 7. If I can't make it work, I have no choice but to use the hated IE.

I would like to remove the add-on downloadable in PDF format that is listed in your contact information. (It gets terrible reviews.) Then, it should be possible to install Adobe Reader as default PDF application in Firefox options. And maybe the Adobe PDF plugin will be able to work again.
