Publication of HTML5

Hello! I have a few questions about the ability of HTML5 edition.

-The code may be reduced or optimized? It seems to generate a lot of code, what was I doing some sprites with fade in/out transitions. On a 1000 lines of code. It also seems to be using an older method of CreateJS?

-The code that generates the CreateJS can be changed?

-Exportable graphics and video clips to the format parent? If I have a bitmap which is 1000 x 1000, but the scene of his only 250 x 250, it generates it with the 1000 x 1000 in mind. Even with forms, etc. I know it's a stretch, but would be cool. And a great help with optimization.

Thank you!

The code includes everything you need to describe your calendar and your library. A custom acceleration or a motion tween, can take a lot of code to reproduce. If you use tweens, classic tweens who use normal acceleration (the number of-100 to + 100), generates a lot less code than the one that has been twisted at all.

Complex vector shapes take up a lot of details, you could simplify the forms to save a few lines of code. Or change the more complex vectors as bitmaps.

Published bitmaps are made to the size of the bitmap in the library, not the size they are onstage.

You can change the generated code, but generally you wouldn't. You can use the browser developer tools to identify problems, then find the original code in your FLA, fix things and republish.

Once you are done editing you can also image optimize bitmaps published, to save on the size of the download.

You could shrink the JS file, but already, there is data compression in the file editing, and reduce is not much gain.

    I'm a host which has just started using Flash and need to create a HTML5 animation for a web banner. I'm not a web developer.

    I can publish the Flash movie very well - it creates the .html, .js and images folder. Play offline .html works as long as everything remains in the same folder.

    My question is, any decent web developer would be able to take these files (html, js and images exported from Flash) to publish on a Web site? I thought initially just the html file would be everything that is created and used. Did I miss something in the settings of publication?

    Hello

    If you have created and published the entire animation in Flash Professional HTML5 Canvas, then you have to pass on html, js and active to get file published on a Web site.

  • Close this window doesn't work don't not in publication as HTML5 on Acrobat Connect Pro with CP8

    Hi all

    I'm trying to get a button that closes the project window / at the end of a video. I use CP8.

    I can make it work when published as SWF Adobe Captivate.

    It works also when you publish as HTML5, but not on a LMS (Adobe Connect) system.

    I have tried different methods which

    -Successful run a JavaScript Window.Close =)

    -On the success - exit

    -Successful execute advanced action = Assign cpCmdExit with 1

    I also tried the slide on the output settings: output and end of project parameters publication Options: Action: close project.

    Nothing works.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you very much

    Hi love,

    You can test this to close the window of course:

    Insert the 2 buttons or smart shape used as buttons (as of the end of course buttons).

    The first button apply an action to run javascript and in the script window, use this script: parent.close)

    The second button apply an action to run javascript and in the script window, use this script: top.window.close)

    Download the draft published on your LMS and check whether one of these work for you.

    Thank you

  • Publication of HTML5/Flash

    I would like to publish on both flash and HTML5 so I checked the two boxes on the page publish. As I understand it, when I put my files on a server and then exit point the browser to the index.html page (produced as part of the joint publication), I should be taken to HTML5 or Flash - depending on whether I have the flash on the device that I use. So on my laptop (which has flash) I should be pushed to the .swf hosting html page and if I have on my iPad I should be pushed into the html5 version.

    First of all am I right to expect this? Secondly this is not the case - little matter unit index.html shows the html5 version!

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Here is the link

    Hey Mark,

    Try pointing to the multiscreen.html file. It will then allow the user to be directed to the correct version (swf or HTML 5). It worked for me in the past.

  • Publication in HTML5 w / Captivate 9

    My company currently publishes SWF projects, but this fall, we are moving to HTML5 publishing. I am doing some research on what has not supported in HTML5 and found a list of items to Adobe.com (for example, text and SWF animations, transitions between slides, bearings, etc.).

    To test, I set up a quick module. It includes cartoons, buttons text animation (effect of typing), mouse animation, etc. HTML5 Tracker was told that rolling legends, flight path images and rollover slidelets weren't compatible HTML5. However, when I published to HTML5 and considered that it if IE11, almost everything worked, including all transfers. I'm confused, because everything I read points to the fact that the bearings will not work in HTML5, but they seemed to work for me. Am I missing something?

    I want to emphasize that we are not publish responsive projects. Our whole target audience is using desktop computers and by displaying the modules in IE11. I was wondering if there is a bug in the tracker, or if his warnings apply only to projects of a reactive nature?

    Transfers are not compatible with most mobile devices, is that the reason that the HTML tracker in condition for HTML output.

    What does certainly not are animations of text and SWF animations. For animations of text appears only a static image. FLV video cannot be played in the HTML output, will be converted to MP4.  H264 (MP4) codec does not support transparent background, which is possible in FLV format. Some problems may occur with PPT-imported slides and FMR slides, but it's not always the case. Totally the effects that are classified as 'Other effects' in CP9 are not taken care of or. Another difference I know: in SWF output an interactive object covered by a non-interactive object remains active, which is not (always) the case in the HTML output.  Much also depends on the browser used, the HTML5 support is not the same by all browsers.

    As long as you post mainly for laptop Desk/computer maintain the SWF when possible or publish to multiple screens. The user experience is much more in line with the output SWF. At least as browsers continue to integrate Flash Player. Right now the interactive PDF published by Captivate needs Flash player, as does the EXE format.

  • Publication of html5 - grey

    I have the demo version of Presenter 10 and I work with Office 2010. When I publish my presentation, they option to publish format that HTML5 is grayed out. Is it because I have a trial version of the presenter? Is this because I use office 2010?

    Please check if you are working on a PPT (compatibility mode) format. You must save to PPTX and then check if you have the possibility of HTML5 has highlighted.

    Trial version has all the features that will be available in copy purchased from Adobe Presenter.

    Kind regards

  • Publication of HTML5 in Captivate 7.0.1 parameters

    Hello everyone

    I am somehow at the end of my home here.  When I publish a Captivate 7.0.1 project in HTML5 format, I noticed that the project is centered in the web browser (probably using a margin: 0 auto; in CSS).  I want the project appear in the upper left corner of my browser.  I know I have to go into the source files of Captivate and change the default somewhere, but I don't know where.  I'm not referring to an LMS.  Just a straight line HTML5 publish.  I am using Captivate 7.0.1 Mac OS x 10.6.8.  I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!

  • Model for the publication of HTML5

    Hi, question about the import of the model.

    When I write in model

    < meta name = "ad.size" content ="width = $WT, height = $HT" > "

    and inport to animate CC, I have a message:

    "Failed to import: invalid template file.

    But if I take $WT and $ $HT, everything works fine.

    How can I input variable dynamics in the meta tags?

    Hello

    This function has been activated in the version of the patch. You can now use the variable token such as $HT, $WT etc anywhere in your html template file. In the published output HTML, all the chips will be replaced with their corresponding values. To get the version of the patch just to go to the creative cloud desktop application and update your Application host.

  • Editing to HTML5 and window is not automatic resizing

    We started the publication in HTML5 only.  We discovered that the window will automatically resize.  When we released SWF and HTML5 there was a parameter, you can choose who had the resizing of the window.  How can we to happen during the post only HTML5?

    Thank you

    Susan

    You do not have the progressive option?

  • HTML5 audio problem: Multiple-play audio

    Hello

    We recently discovered a problem when the publication for HTML5, where audio is not playback from the beginning.

    Using Captivate 9, if you have a page with several buttons on stage who each action Play Audio, you expect each button when you click it to play the audio from the beginning. It works as it should when you press the buttons for the first time. However, if you click on another button before your audio has finished and then selected the initial button once again, instead of the audio file from new from scratch, it resumes from the point where you left the first time.

    This problem only occurs when you view a published HTML5 course. If you publish to SWF, or listen to samples in Captivate, the buttons act as intended and play the audio from the beginning, whenever a key is pressed. We also tested in several browsers, all with the same result.

    Ideas or workarounds on it?

    See you soon,.

    Hi all

    I noticed that since the Captivate update to 9.0.2 this issue is no longer appears, Yes!

  • E-Learning complete customized by using Captivate

    Hi all

    Our company has used Flash for more than 12 years to create our interactive e-Learning modules. We started to do our module using edge HTML5 versions facilitate the end of the year, but since it is discontinued, we are looking for new tools to help make the transition from Flash to HTML5. Captivate allows you to create interactive e-Learning modules? We really do static presentations with a lot of text, given that will bore most of the learners. Here is an example of our Flash module: http://www.fitforbanking.com/scorm/courseviewerscorm.php?fid=p1 & fid2 = 0897nujh32 & epages = & pl aydirect = false & candidate = Demo

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    What can or cannot be done with HTML5 in Captivate is something of a moving target.  I took a glance at your example and most of what I saw could certainly be done in Captivate.

    Maybe your use of sliders and masking is currently not supported, but (for SWF output at least), it is possible with some third-party widgets.  A similar feature is currently being developed through widgets for HTML5.  However, be warned that the HTML5 support in all browsers and OSs mobile is still very unequal.  So more complex, your content is more it is difficult to operate regularly.  The Flash Player has been a godsend in this respect.

    Another my thought is that if you have used Board animate to create content, why don't you just move to the right in the content of construction with Adobe animate (previously named... FLASH)?  It has an output of HTML5.  Alternatively, you can build interactions in Animate and then import in Captivate as files OAM (animations) for the publication of HTML5.  Then you can keep your current animations but use them in the environment of Captivate.

  • Can display us the names of Web site with direct link to URL in search results

    I don't see an option for the URL to display in the results of the research. This is the behavior of our users ask: If a URL (I have the link in a topic) appear in search results, the user can then click on the link to take them to this external site.

    There is no option to display URLS in the search results in the WebHelp or options for publication of HTML5. My users don't want to have to click on a link to bring back them to a matter of html and then click again on the URL to get to the external site. They want to be able to see the URL in the search results, click on and go immediately on the site.

    I even shot on external site to search but don't see anything in the results. Maybe I do not have this right. This has never been a problem before on any other project that I developed.

    Is that what I can do to give them what they want?

    Deb

    Hi Deb

    What you are looking for, is indeed the external Site search.

    What version of RoboHelp do you use?

  • Scene 1 layer Actions 1120: access of the window using the undefined property!

    I'm really new to Flash and I use the current CC of Flash to create a banner with the evolution of the images and a button that target changes for each slide.

    I'm in a HTML Canvas and everything seems to work okay in test Ctrl + entry with the button goes to different pages.

    5 errors occur when I export to SWF Movie

    Scene1, layer, frame 1 line 4 column 2 1120: access of undefined property window.

    Scene1, actions layer, frame 40 line 4 column 2 1120: access of undefined property window.

    Go looking around, it seems to be the button actions that I used code snippets for.

    Actions: Frame1

    this.buttonOne.addEventListener ("click", fl_ClickToGoToWebPage);

    function fl_ClickToGoToWebPage() {}

    window.open ("http://www.fireflybbq.eu/#!") ("product/prd1/2832376001/kansas-sweet-%26-smoky-bbq-rub", "_blank");

    }

    Actions: Frame 40

    this.buttonTwo.addEventListener ("click", fl_ClickToGoToWebPage_2);

    function fl_ClickToGoToWebPage_2() {}

    window.open ("http://www.fireflybbq.eu/#!") ("rub / c1faw", "_blank");

    }

    Im not sure what is wrong with the code as it runs in the test, but not in the export any help would be appreciated

    This should work for a publication of html5, but not for a swf file

    to a swf file, you must use actionscript, not javascript window.open is the javascript code.

    Use the externalinterface class call javascript in html file swf or navigateToURL incorporation
