  Well, as a result of the 'Registration' problem that I described in the recording section of this Forum, looks like I become a buyer of Camtasia. Our client needed some modifications on a Captivate movie we provided earlier, and when we tried to do the work, we found that Captivate screenshot functions refused to work more.
  
  We had this same problem awhile, but he disappeared for a while... now it's back and we cannot find any solution, and the client time is NOW. The customer had seen things Camtasia-produced elsewhere before and insisted on the fact that we go to this product instead of Captivate.

  The desription of your problem, I wonder if there is a conflict with a process, software or hardware driver that loads at startup. Unfortunately, there are so many variables to try to keep track of.

  I guess you're not not (using Captivate) reading or writing to a shared resource. (The fact that 1 Cap still works well might be a clue on is is not the case.) In addition, work with XP and not Vista?

  If you have a lot of time (and perhaps another machine), you can try a clean system of loading then load Captivate 2 and try a simple capture of 40 slides, or so. If it worked, I suspect a problem with another piece of software that runs in the background, something seemingly harmless. Verification of this process is run can give a clue too.

  If you ever discover what can give you this problem, please report it here. I could save someone else some pain.

• UIMsg_BreakOnRunTimeError of completely custom user interface management

  I develop a completely custom user interface for TestStand 2012 SP1 operator (without ActiveX / ApplicationMgr etc.;) "I know, I know...).  I'm trying UIMsg_BreakOnRunTimeError to deal appropriately and need advice.

  (1) my first question is what I call DisplayRunTimeErrorDialogEx() with the appropriate SequenceContext, but the dialog box disables many of the options. Under manage common error, recovery, ignore and abandon immediately (without cleaning) are grayed out (disabled) as well as the box jump of. With the same sequence SequenceEditor and the po sample UI display correctly this dialog box.  Any ideas on what is the cause?

  

  (2) Secondly, the best way to manage the selections to the user?  dontShowAgainForExecution, dontShowAgainForBatchand suspendExecution seem quite simple documentation.  i.e.

  (3) Finally, once the dialog box is closed, my execution ends with the result success rather than error state.  What happens here?

  (1) this is probably the user privileges, you may either not connected with user at all or the user has privileges to debug. If you do not use the users, you can disable the privilege check in the options of the station.

• Address the content slide; back to the question; then continue on--using Captivate 8

  Using Captivate 8, I'm trying to fix a question slide to a slide content, then back to the issue of KC to check for retry and then continue from there.  On my trial, it works very well.  However, the problems began on the second instance and continue on each instance, subsequently. Settings on the issue of KC slides are all the same except that drag each jumps for sanitation.  I don't understand why it works the first time, but does not work after that. On the second instance, the issue returns to the content slide, but then passes any subsequent slide.   Someone at - he had a similar experience?  Know of a workaround or solution could I hurt?

  Erik, sanitation is integrated since version 6. The next button can have a double feature: coming from a normal slide acts as then, when they come from a question slide she come back on this question with the mentioned order slide.  It's been a while since I tested this out, but it worked.   You provide the key Widget Parent document created? If this is the case, then getDocuments will return the original Widget created and not signed.

  In order to retrieve the signed copy (child Widget Parent), you must first obtain the keys to document associated with signed Widgets. You can retrieve first of all by the getFormData method and provide the key Parent Widget in the application code. In response, you will receive all the keys of the document signed Widget instance as well as form data.

  Now, use the keys of the document received in getDocuments () in order to obtain signed PDF.

  Hmm, Milot, why change the top instead of optimized to drag a quality which is the default setting in CP8?   Hmmm, your question was really different from my interpretation. You want to know what is the goal, the design of the front test?

This custom navigation is created using the pre-test action, that you can change with the button in the part of the Actions of the Group Quiz for slides before the test. You can also extend the conditional action with more than two branches based on the outcome of the score before the test. You will see that the system variable, I mentioned in my first reply is used in this action.
