Publish online is missing

I have been using the feature to publish online and now all of a sudden the button in the toolbar and options under the file menu are gone. How can I get that back?

Go to the desktop application cloud creative (menu bar on the task or Mac in Windows taskbar). Go to the "gear" icon > Preferences > General > Log Out. Then log in with your Adobe ID

    Hello

You must try to reconnect in the creative cloud and make it work. only then can you publish the document.

To get your creative cloud working, quit it the option in the menu drop down and restart it.

Look for the updates if any, install them. Start InDesign.

    Publish your document now.

  • Disable embed and share to publish online?

To "use publication Online (Preview) to publish your InDesign documents" page implies that, in the general menu to publish online, you can: "hide the share and embed options in the published document. Yes, this feature has been added in InDesign CC 2015.3, released March 2016.

  • How to make my table of contents interactive to publish online?

I have produced a Table of contents for my document in InDesign and checked the box 'Add the page anchor' in the options. But when I export to publish online, the table of contents are not linked to pages in the document.

Then, I tried to make the page numbers in table of contents converted into hyperlinks leading to page numbers, but that no longer works.

What I'm missing here? Looks like I should be able to do this easily, but... Thanks for the hints!

    Hi Christy,

During the generation of the TOC, check "Make text anchor in paragraph Source" in the dialog Table of contents the table of contents clickable links in the document to publish online.

I am trying to download a document to help publish online and I REALLY need to be able to turn off sharing and integration options (something Adobe claim is possible on this help page: using publish Online to publish your InDesign documents), but I can't find this option anywhere in the dialog box publish online...

I expect him to be here, under the 'allow viewers to download the document in PDF (Print)' option:

As far as I can see that it is also not on the Advanced tab.

Does anyone know if this is a feature that has been removed? Or if I'm going to be really dense and looking in the wrong place? (Probably the last..)

Any help on this would be so appreciated!

    Thank you!

Of course, it is included, but your looks very old screenshot, update your version.

  • Publish online: download a PDF removes hyperlinks

When I download a PDF version, after the online publication, all hyperlinks are removed. Can it be fixed or is there a workaround for the PDF download version?

When the PDF file is made for a document to be published online, you have the option to choose a PDF preset. None of the default PDF print presets turn into hyperlinks. Create a custom PDF preset with this option enabled, and choose when you are in the dialog box publish online.

Publish online gives this failure: to publish documents online you must be logged in creative cloud! But I'm already logged on creative cloud, so it makes no sense...

Even if InDesign can show you to be connected, you must also be logged in the desktop application cloud creative (menu bar on a Mac, in Windows taskbar). Go to the "gear" icon > Preferences > General > Sign Out, and then sign in with your Adobe ID

  • Publish online button not avaiable

I was eager to try the online publication tool. I remember seeing the button before but now it disappeared.

I tried the file > publish Online-is not available either.

InDesign > Preferences > General > technology overview > button publish online is unchecked and I can't seem to be able to enable it.

Any ideas? I tried using the advanced workspace, typography, book or publication, but none of these work.

    TIA

If you have a business or a Cloud creative teams (maybe) account, this feature is not yet available.

If you have a normal InDesign CC or creative cloud subscription, you should have access. Go to the desktop application cloud creative (menu bar on the task or Mac in Windows taskbar). Click on the "gear" icon > preferences > General > Sign Out from the creative clouds. Then log in with your Adobe ID

  • Is it possible to move the button publish online?

< a bit cranky person who had no coffee yet >

Is it possible to move the button to publish online? It is just about things there that I use often and when I'm in a hurry and my cursor exceeds their I have to wait for this massive box to publish online (Preview) to disappear. I don't want to publish online. I don't want to listen to extracts or learn more. I'll probably NEVER click on this button. I would not lose so much time waiting for this stupid expires box.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Change your preferences. Under Technology Preview, turn the power off.

  • publish online does not work

When I want to send a document to be published online, it gets hung there. And I have to force quit the application.

    Anyone with the same problem?

Sometimes people with very large images.

Begin by restarting your computer. Open the desktop application cloud creative (menu bar on the Mac, in Windows taskbar). Click [gear icon] > Preferences > General. Sign out and sign in with your Adobe ID and try again.

If there is still a problem there another thread where an Adobe engineer has an email address to send your file, if it still does not work for the tests. This is a relatively new feature and not all bugs are developed.

  • is indesign publishing online seo friendly

When you publish a document via publish online Google can index the content (text)?

A document with the word Hello.

    https://INDD.Adobe.com/view/c714b55e-ed5f-424B-93b8-2f7938716b62

Hello does not appear in the body of the document. But there is a header area you can fill, which could be made available.

You might be better to use ePub FXL, cracking it open and use files that are there.
