  Hello everyone, I have a very basic question beginner on the use of masks in Speedgrade. I'm new to this, so please forgive me.

  Is it possible to copy a mask from one clip to another? For example, I have a simple shot-reverse shot sequence going. As you can see below, my sequence of cutting in both sense between a man and a woman. The mask that I use is to correct man's shirt because it's too bright. I use the mask feature follow-up because the shot zooms in slowly.   What about the clip cut back and zoom - like sequence multicamera two cameras? I work with the source, two layers separate, if the camera is fixed and no zoom in the source sequence, work with the source, hide the shirt, no slow zoom for mask to follow, the only movement of person.

  Hello.

  I'm creating a foreign language version of a program that I made with foreign VO and legends throughout the last year.

  Here's the question and it's something that I've struggled with in the past...

  I have the original English edition of graphics / legends beating with FX etc, most of them is integrated in compound of clips. So I will make a new copy of my editing, and I work through all the translations of legend, make changes to clips of compounds I.

  The problem is that now on my original master, all my original English legends are also translated into the foreign language. The only way I can find to avoid this problem on the copy is to separate the clip made up, make the text changes, and then create a new compound clip. This is fine except that many of my compound clips have added complex animation that I then have to create from scratch - or copy and paste which is a slow workaround.

  Thus, the question -, is there a quick way to give my compound clips copied a name change, or a new identity that is not a link back the original English?

  Composed of clips have a clip of "parent" in the browser.

  The way to avoid changes in a compound "here" affecting the version of the 'out there' compound is, BEFORE you make changes, select the compound in the timeline panel, and choose item-> new reference Clip Parent.

  Is there a few months, I created the image attached. Today, for the life of me I can not create a similar effect, where the shadow text source the clipping mask. Whenever I try to follow the same steps and the layer styles, that I get a normal black shadow not a shade that comes from the clipping mask as in my example.   If you put the layer containing the shadow applied to a smart object the clipping mask will be applied to the shadow as well. Right click-> Convert to smart object

• Help with the looks to copy it from the clip of

  I so want to wrap your head around this program frustrating (I do so well with the rest of the suite Adobe), but I'm fighting.  It should be simple, but try as I might I can't seem to make it work.

  After building a glance on a clip with the color wheels and sliders and the primary and secondary layers and masks, etc... I just want to COPY exactly the look on the same instance of the clip in subsequent shots.  Or maybe who will overlook a different plug, but the same time otherwise.

  I've read and seen in the tutorials a confusing function that involves the Alt keys and keypads, but I'm on a Mac of the retina that has the smaller keyboard.  And this copy feature seems limited to spaces '9 '.  What about a clip that reappears 10 slots later?

  Am I missing something?  The manual says hitting 'C' allows you to copy a grade, but then what?  There is no function "Paste."  Help!  And I thank you.

  If I can't do that, then this program is certainly not for me.

  I use the C all the time. This is copy - paste at once:

  1. Select the item you want to copy to

  2 hover your mouse over the clip you want to copy from (don't click)

  3. press on "C".

  The clip in step 1 should have now the ranking form of battery the clip in step 2.

  Plug the clip into the computer, copy the files off. Plug the new clip on computer, copy files on.

  This will allow you to do both A and b. Although for A you will need to then choose object > compound path > make before you create the clipping mask.

  I see all the music files in the new iTunes folder that I copied from a backup. A reflection as to why they are not displayed?

  Try the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library.

  Unplug your backup disk, restart, and try again.

• OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium: When copying from the plateau the copier will print only 1/8 of page, then stop.

  Copier is towards the top sometimes & don't print that page of bucket 1/8, Athens he spits as if this one ends. Have unplugged the power cord & reconnected. Ran scans printhead & alignment. Off all night. All the ink levels are good. Still has not corrected it.

  I understand that you use a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-all-in-one with a computer and Windows 7 when you copy from sometimes flat it will only copy and print 1/8 of the page. I would like to help.

  You mentioned having unplugged and replugged the power cord. This is something that could be done. If you can, I reset the power and try to connect the printer directly to a wall outlet, if you currently use a protector or electrical surge extention. Sometimes the surge protectors can limit the amout of the power supplied to the printer.

  

  There was an update firmware released in April, which can help your printer. You can download the update of the firmware and run it from your computer to install it on the printer. You can go to the HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g_n Firmware download page by clicking here.

  I hope someone can help me understand why a file size can be different when it is copied from one source, pasted on another hard drive or on an external drive?

  My job requires me to backup databases to an external source before making changes to a program / database to protect the info before any troubleshooting begins / changes are made. These databases can be several GB in size and take a relatively long time to copy depending on the size and the transfer speed, but when I compare the properties of each folder, after that the copy is often made that the sizes don't match exactly. Remember the difference may be that some Ko Mo, but nevertheless, this could represent information data, planning data or image data that must be preserved. Can someone explain why/how it happens and if it is a way to ensure an exact copy is made every time so I don't have to go back and make a second or third attempt to copy files on?

  Copy/paste and drag-and - d├⌐poser are no error checking.  bad, bad bad.

  A file that takes up 100 MB exactly on a 500 GB HD with 4 k sectors will not take the same place on a 1 to Hd with 8 k sectors.  There may be a slight varience between the two due to the size of area if for example the las, bit of info (it could be as little as 1 byte) is placed in an 8 k sector it will often say he used throughout the sector.

  Since there is no apparent error checking if a network problem deletes the data it is not copied.

  Same with ram

  You can always google something like checking with file transfers in win 7

  1 you must have a physical port with an ip address or interface vlan by ip address and the port assigned to this interface on your router/switch

  2 your pc needs to have an address ip in the same range make sure you can ping between the pc interface and router first then connectivity is there for the tftp to work

  3. make sure that no local firewall is running on your pc, sometimes this can cause the tftp to fail because it can be blocked according to what is running

  4. make sure that there is enough memory your camera flash to take the new image, your tftp server is running on your pc and the root folder is set int ready to load on the router/switch with your IOS tftp server

  I would like to know if there is a way to capture text copied from another application using a MenuItem to my Application?

  It would be like this:

  1. You open my application and it will record the MenuItem in another application like e-mail messages.
  2. You open an e-mail message, select some text and click on my menu item.
  3. It would open my application (it could be a just dialogue) which will display the selected text.

  Is this possible?

  You will need to retrieve the text from the Clipboard when your menu item is called.
