• Problem: FN-key-pulldown on the screen window

  Hello!
  I have a real problem with a window menu drop-down appearing at the top of each FN key pressure, because I work with a translation tool, which requires a combination of FN - NUM + several times per minute, so my work suddenly becames a real torture.
  * Is it possible to swich off this FN-pulldown window? *
  My PC is a Toshiba Satellite A300D.

  I really wonder what use you the FN key for some additional software.
  In any case, you can disable the flash cards.
  Start > all programs > Toshiba > utilities > Flash card settings. Check the first option at the top of this window.

• Problem with the editor attribute PULLDOWN

  When we use the Editor menu attribute drop-DOWN we know the following behavior.

  We have a definition of the content with a non-binding string attribute which is an attribute of pulldown editor configured with queryassetname.

  When its use in the contributor interface following the chronology of the events:

  (1) content > new asset

  (2) assign a value in the launch menu displayed by the editor attribute of pulldown

  (3) save

  (4) modify the same assets and try to put a value empty in the attribute that is assigned pulldown attribute Editor, but it is not possible because there is no possible empty selection to leave blank the value of the attribute as it was by default.

  Hi Pedro,

  There is a default created for the problem you describe: Bug 17562306 - menu DEROULANT ATTRIBUTE EDITOR not IS NOT HAVE WHITE VALUE for the OPTIONAL ATTRIBUTES.
  However this applies only when you use name QUERYASSETNAME instead of element tags to populate the attribute PullDown.

  I just did a quick test to create a new attribute to dropdown using element tags and it worked fine when I set a single value, saved and then set empty. See screenshots

  

  

  I was able to find a workaround for the active query name, it is to add value, then you can use it as a vacuum. See below:

  Add a null value line in the query of the assets of the query result.  In this way, there will be a null value to select in the drop-down menu to remove the value.

  for example SELECT name as the value of the status of Content_C WHERE<>"VO" UNION (SELECT NULL FROM DUAL) ORDER BY VALUE asc NULLS FIRST

  Of workaround seems to work for the attributes of optional or required string using this attribute of menu editor drop-DOWN with a resource request.

• Change the framerate (telecine pulldown) when exporting

  When you export a clip using a different cadence, what method is used to convert frame rates?  I don't see any way to specify it in the export settings.  For example,.

  I have a XDCAM EX clip to 23.98 p.  I want to export as DNxHD 220 X 59, 94i.  I export using the MXF DNx 220 X 1080i preset.  When I opened the file in the first, he seems to have a copy of a picture all 5 images.  This is not good.  But if I open MXF in DaVinci Resolve, he has a normal life model 3:2.  I am following up with a Decklink SDI, so I can see the jitter interlacing.

  First is smart enough about adding traction down when changing frame rates.

  If you want to convert to 23.976 p in 29.97i, first should add a 3:2 drop down causing 3 progressive, followed by 2 interlaced frames. The 2:3:3:2 is not a traction accepted down for broadcasting, I don't think first is able to create 2:3:3:2.

  The only control provided is field order (aka the dominant field) which must always be higher, first, Odd material etc HD.

  It is interesting that say you that the same MXF file shows open to DaVinci open in first, but 3:2 when 2:2:2:4. Personally, I would try to play MXF in a 3rd party app, scroll frame-by-frame and see what menu drop down it shows and assume that 2 outta 3 apps are probably the real answer. Let us know.

  Also, try exporting to an another 29.97i format (i.e. MOV) and see if it's the MXF, which is confusing.

  I am load request from another team via SWFLoader in my own application.  For various reasons, I must use the loadForCompatibility flag and set the value to true.  I noticed that ALL the spark DropDownList in the sub-application offset cases loaded their menus incorrectly.  Since my application has a header, the pulldowns are vertical offset of the height of the header. Versions of the MX ComboBox in an application under test do not have this problem.

  I tried to add the line:

  -includes = mx.managers.systemClasses.MarshallingSupport

  and

  -includes += mx.managers.systemClasses.MarshallingSupport

  for options to the compiler to my Application, but it has no effect.

  I also noticed, when you try to write an import statement, that MarshallingSupport does not yet exist.  I use FlashBuilder 4.

  There is no work around for this?  I'm doing something wrong?  Why should it be? Tell the other team spend all their s:DropDownList to mx:ComboBox is going to be expensive to say the least.  It will also be a lot of your time because the APIs are different.  I really hope there is something I can do to solve this problem.  Please tell me that I'm doing it wrong.

  I met a similar problem when loading a Flex SWF in Flash. Drop-down menus Spark being neutralized incorrectly.

  I managed to find a solution which, although not perfect, is effective in my case.

  I created a Custom DropDownListSkin and postulated that the skin when adding of drop-down menus. You can find the code base here

• Interlace/Pulldown question (I think)

  I have PR 422 images digitized from BetaSP 29.97 tape.  It has been brought in an Avid to 1:mxf, then the output of sequences in ProRes Quicktime.  Is someone can you please tell me what the heck the colorist or I was wrong?  Settings for QuickTime 720 x 486, lower field first.  (and strangely when fell into a FCP timeline, the dominant field was zero, wtf?)

  The vhs with timecode screw has similar but not nearly as sensitive issues.  So I doubt I'd be able to re-intrepret in AE, correct?

  Is this an incorrect conversion?  I guess I'll need to re - transfer?  Or is it a kind of interlacing issue?  Just about every 4 frames sequence has this problem to varying degrees, according to the motion, and objects in the framework.

  I wonder however why you recommend only do this on a shot by shot basis?

  It's because you don't know exactly HOW the film was transferred on tape.  It could be that there are a couple of shots on a roll of film, and then a few more shots on another, etc.  The logical way of transfer with a tape recorder and a projector (or scan) would be a series of changes come together on the tape.  This would result in a danger very real that the menu template dropdown would emerge among sets of shots.

  If, however, you knew full well that each shot was on a continuous roll of film and was transferred at the same time, you can confidently remove pulldown in the clip of big set of many shots.  But I bet that nobody will swear him on a stack of bibles, so better safe than sorry.

  I understand, but I just thought of it. I googled "combobox flash", for the thousandth time and read about _lockroot. While adding ._lockroot = true; the film clip is fixed. Thanks for the offer of help. I'm on duty again!

• On an earlier version of firefox, I was able to paste websites to a bar underneath history pulldown

  I just had my charging system (lost all data) and reloaded firefox. Before that I could paste the web addresses on a bar below the history pull down. Now, I can't do this and should continue to go to the history or bookmarks to go a place. Is it in any case I can do what I used to be able to do?

  You can try of reset toolbars and controls: and the splash screen to make changes and restart in Safe Mode . I hope that the location/address/awesome bar will return.

  If the problem persists, you can also consider the function of Reset Firefox via help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information.

• pulldowns and pop-up menus not drawing correctly

  All drop-down the menu (for example the address bar and system menus) and menus contextual (e.g. right-click) twinkle to. Sometimes just the shadow of the menu box appears, and if I shake the mouse, I can usually get it to re - draw correctly or disappear completely. Never had this problem over the years of using older versions and even not with version 4.0 beta on the same computer.

• Add pulldown 'Units' or 'Rulers' of the toolbar or button in the tool palette?

  I tried (in vain) to add a quick way to change the units of a document in Photoshop.  Ideally, I'd be able to have the units drop in the menu bar so that I can change quickly between the thumb, MM and Pixels.  As a second close, maybe a button in the toolbar to change units.  I know already that you can double-click on the leaders and get the preferences-> units menu is displayed, but I would really like to see the drop-down list on the units in the menu bar.  I tried to customize the tool palette but also to change the options of the menu without result.  This will require a plugin of photoshop?

  Recently, I had the freak accident that the menu pull-down were covered with a white bar that makes it difficult to get to pull down or areas in the window Edit. If I press on a drop down the app past to another application I have running.

  I am on Windows 7 64-bit ultimate and 2015 CC

  I have a GEForce GTX660 and have just updated to the drivers. First is back to normal. It was the only application that was affected by this property.

  Trying to open/modify "Muse Builder | Parallax OnePage Muse Template"but get an error that says that I need the latest version of Muse. The downloadable trial version I have is v7.4 build 30. Can't you use a model bought in the trial version?

  Looks like you're on a Windows computer that is not 64-bit capable. You have the latest version of 32-bit, but the model was likely brought in a new version of 64-bit.

• How to move the pulldown workspace Photoshop 2014

  I have a pretty simple question, which I am sure has an easy solution, but miss me. One of my colleagues is using photoshop CC 2014 and when she goes to crop a photo the reset buttons, Cancel and Commit pop up, but the check mark (OK button) is actually blocked by menu of the workspace that appears on the right side of the screen.

  
  

  Does anyone know how to move the buttons in the toolbar, or move this menu drop-down? She works on a smaller screen, so she has not much real estate to work with and it gets frustrating. It is also important to mention that she is 72 years, so give it a shortcut does not really work, so that the check box.

  I'm guessing that you do not have "Use CSS instead of HTML tags" selected in the General preferences.

  I'm trying to find some information on the video formats supported by Apple TV. Apple is seriously vague on this issue. Its website says
