  Hi all

  You do not know if this is the right forum or not, but I'm going to pull all the host information for a VM instance selected in c#.

  For example, I have the following code:

  In order to solve the HostSystem who is responsible to perform a VirtualMachine I suggest property path: VM.runtime.host

• Nikon P7800 no photo/goal - Lightroom 6 device profile

  Hello

  to achieve a purpose, I use a Nikon P7800 under some other cameras.

  Although Adobe has delivered a profile there is boxes and objectives for Lightroom 6 + Camera Raw I can't choose these profiles in Lightroom.

  The only available profiles are Nikon P7000 and P7100. When Nikon automatically choose the profile, it is Nikon P330.

  If some can help me, I would be very happy . I have search the Internet up and down. No useful information.

  Its quite likely that Lightroom lens corrections automatically applies when working with raw files. In the lens corrections development module see if East a note "built in lens profile applied. See the screen capture.

  

• Hide various objects on different slides with the same tip Action

  I'm quite new to Captivate and because of that I'm fighting for the search feature, I need. I have a project of say 40 slides. On each slide, I have a button field on the left side guide and when clicked I have a window scroll from left to right, in the main frame of the window.

  Also on each slide is an object that displays specific information (usually in the form of text) with the previous buttons and following attached to it (its actually just a PNG image with the buttons "Previous" and "Next" with click boxes on them).

  The problem I have is when I click on the field guide that I want to hide this information object. I can easily do this in a tip for 1 slide action but when I want to the same tip action allows to always hide the information object of the current slide that I meet problems. If I was able to name objects of the same name is not a problem.

  The only "fast" solution I have is that each object information on each slide set to hide when I open the guide and then visible when I close the guide.

  Is their a better solution or does this supposed same matter?

  Why you not time the objects for the rest of the project, always on top? In this case, you will have an ID (I recommend you even a group). BUT: This means that you cannot use boxes to click but must spend much more flexible form buttons.

• The RAW settings synchronization between Lightroom/ACR/PS

  I understand that when the files back and forth between Lightroom and Photoshop, it is possible to open a RAW file as a smart object and then have the opportunity to make adjustments to this using the ACR RAW file in Photoshop, so to keep the possibility to edit the original RAW file.

  The questions I have is, let's say that I open a RAW file in the PS as a smart object, make my changes and then save it as a PSD so the file is displayed in the Lightroom library. If I may make changes to the original RAW file (the same as one that was open to the PS as a smart object) inside Lightroom, is there a way to make these changes be reflected in the PSD file that refers to the original RAW file? And also, if I make changes to the RAW file while inside of the PS using ACR, is there a way to have these changes to be transferred to the RAW file in Lightroom library?

  To view changes to a RAW file in LR in Adobe Camera RAW you must save these changes LR in an XMP Sidecar file or the file itself if you use the DNG file format. To do this automatically in catalog preferences, you will need to check the Auto option write changes to XMP.

  Then, when you open this RAW image in ACR, you will see the changes. If you make another change to this RAW file in ACR when you get back to LR you have to load these changes in LR.

  I purchased the desktop version of Lightroom 6, downloaded a single binding for Windows Installer in the 'Downloads' page and launched it.

  

  Then I get this message "failed installation: this product can only be installed on a 64-bit system".

  

  I use Windows 7 32-bit system but until that time, I was not informed Lightroom (or its installer) only works on 64-bit system - or does it also on 32 - bit systems and if so where can I find the installer for 32 - bit?

• Lightroom adjustment brush not no projection in Photoshop Camera Raw

  I hope someone can answer this for me please

  I prefer to do my editing RAW in Lightroom (it's just the way I like to do it), but now I want to send the image in photoshop to create a poster with the same image.  So I open up Photoshop and then choose Place embedded in the file menu.  The Adobe Camera Raw 8.6 dialog opens and I expect to see all my development settings the same as the brushes set, but for some reason, the brushes are not displayed?

  Why is this and is there a way to fix it simply?

  You can open the file in photoshop as a smart object from lightroom.

  Or in lightroom, you can go to Photo > save metadata to file, which, I believe, replaces the original xmp file if you already have

  Open in photoshop camera raw, or creates a new xmp file in the same folder as the camera raw file.

  Anyway, when you place incorporated into photoshop settings adjustment brush should be there.

• ByVal or ByRef in LabView

  Hi all

  When I LabView7.1 and 8.5 with call node of .NET, I found a different behavior depending on the input/output terminal. In LV7.1, each parameter has two input and output terminals; but in LV8.5, only the parameter claimed as ByRef has output terminal.

  There are 2 problems:

  1, in .NET, even if a parameter object is claimed as a PaintEventArgs, since this is the type of reference, it can always be changed within the Assembly. So in LV8.5, how to pass the argument after change, because there is no terminal output?

  2, LV7.1, if the parameter is claimed as ByRef, its type will be .NET object. It's really annoying. I have a string argument to pass in the Assembly, and the setting is claimed as ' out...» As String", then the entry Exchange node to be an object instead of the original string type. But how can I convert the normal to be a .NET object string constant?

  I can't do a ping on my side (10.1.20.0/24), but only to the "inside" on the SAA interface remote (10.2.20.1).  I can't ping other computers on the remote subnet.  The remote subnet is not able to ping anything on my side.

• State of Confusion?

  Hi people,

  I don't know if 'States' can do it or not, but I thought I'd ask. I want to create 8 different States, each State being triggered by a button on the same blade. I can do this, but the problem I meet is "unload" the first State when I activate the second State. The second comes on top of one.  Is there one way other than the drop and drag (BTW: nice job on the video Paul), hide or unload the first State when I activate the second State?

  Please, I asked for the display of the State, because it is still not clear at all. Is this a custom state of the button on which you change to?

  I think it would be much easier in this case use show/hide instead of States because you can group all the objects (information) to be made visible and the action in this case could be a shared or advanced like this action:

  If you do this with States, since you probably want to enable by clicking in any sequence, you need something that will look like this:

  Change the State of Bt_one Info

  Change the State of Bt_two to normal

  Change the State of Bt_three to normal

  ... etc for all the buttons except the one that was clicked

  It could be solved more easily with the CpExtra in InfoSemantics widget (using the @syntax) but this widget is not free (value of its cost more), not included with Captivate.

• Import an Image

  I learned how to import folders full of images in Lightroom, but what is the best way to import a single image?

  If I select a folder, click "Import", and then navigate to a folder on my hard drive and select an image, it imports each image in the folder. So it is not clear to me how to import an image.

  Also, is there a way to create an image in Photoshop and save it in a folder in Lightroom, so that it is instantly recognized by Lightroom? Or do I have to also save on my hard drive, then import it?

  Two parts here.

  First, if you drag an image file in LR it loads directory that the image was in. Although it creates an overview of all the images in this directory you moved, only the image you dragged must be verified. Which means you can import this single image. If all the images are checked. Just click on uncheck the box all at the bottom of the window and then click on the box over the image that you want to import.

  

  As if you happen to have this directory in LR and you na no drag and drop. Right click on any thumbnail and see an option to 'Import'.

  

  OK, now to part 2.

  If you open your images as smart objects from Lightroom in Photoshop, then when you choose to save the PSD file it will automatically record to the catalog that the source image was this directory of LR. But, if it isn't. See the image above it also says 'show in Finder '. That tells you the directory where is an image in your catalog. It save it, and this directory should now show the PSD file. If this does not work, go around drag / move. It all works the same. Then, you can move your catalogues or start a collection of PSD files.

• Remove emctl blackout/target for the host that no longer exists

  I have a power outage set via emctl command line for a host. The host was then taken out of service until it could be removed from EM. Now, I can not remove the failure or target EM as the power failure has been fixed through emctl. I can't access emctl to end because the server was decommisioned. What should I do to remove the target?

  As you have decommissioned the host already guess that historical control data to the host and its monitored databases are no longer required.

  In this case, you can cleanup the agent to the repository which will also clean up the host and control objectives information completely and permanently.

• Modification date instead of the date of Capture in grid mode

  I noticed that in Grid mode (expanded cell information) Lightroom see the change date instead of the date of Capture. How can I fix this?

  Sigh, metadata of image are such a mess, with different programs and operating systems using similar labels for different areas. I suspect what is happening with your images is that some of them didn't have not a metadata field "capture date".  If you download one of the suspicious images on Dropbox and post the link here, I can verify this.  (This is probably the most effective way to solve your problem, rather than a long exchange of posts.)  Also, note that the Date change is not as known as the Date of Capture.

  Gory details:

  The EXIF: DateTime of metadata fields (Exiftool called EXIF:ModifyDate) and XMP:ModifyDate are shown in LR in the metadata > Panel EXIF as "Date Time".  It is a metadata field defined as LR image manipulation programs whenever they change the image or its metadata.   This metadata field is not the same as the last modification date/time indicated by Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer - who is a field maintained for all files automatically by the operating system.

  The time, that the image was captured by a digital camera stores, EXIF:DateTimeOriginal and XMP:DateCreated. These fields are displayed in the form of 'Capture time' in the LR metadata > by default, and as a 'DateTime Original' Panel in the metadata > EXIF.

  When an image is missing EXIF:DateTimeOriginal / XMP:DateCreated, then for its 'Date of Capture' inside, LR 5.6 uses EXIF:DateTime / XMP:ModifyDate (if present), otherwise it uses the date of last modification of the file system.  (Versions prior to 5.6 had a different behavior, buggy).
