  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

  I have an early 2008 Mac Pro tower under Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

  For dealing with some updates of software is not incompatible with this version, I need a new OSX.

  However, some of my versions of software does not work on 10.7 and above. My solution so I guess a dual boot?

  I have my software of MBR on a 500 GB SSD. I have a second internal 500GB SSD that is almost empty, I assigned as a disk scratch to Final Cut Pro 7 and some other functions. I thought I would setup an OSX later on this drive to use when I want to run the software that doesn't like Snow Leopard.

  I've seen many ways to do it, but none like exactly my situation. So I hope for help or links on how to do this without anything spoil.

  I would appreciate advice on what OSX to put on this drive. The software needed is DazStudio 3D and Ponomusic. Is no longer, browsers such as Chrome and Safari are updated to 10.6. as well.

  The software that I would lose and have to buy new versions full if I updated all of the machine are Filemaker Pro and Quickbooks and quite honestly, is that simply I don't have the funds at this time for these versions. Two of my versions are too old to do an upgrade.

  Put a blank disc in a sleigh and install on your Mac. Then, run the installer of El Capitan and format the disc and be mounted directly to the blank formatted disc now.
  Note that bit of your current applications will not run beyond Snow Leopard

  Product #: M0K57AV #ABA - I am trying to understand if I can install an its PCIe x 1 slot PCIe x 16 is available only on card.  There seems to be a total of 3 PCIe x 16 on the motherboard slots. one is used by the graphics card GTX 960, it is blocked by the heatsink / fan GPU and there is a right most barely accessible slot above the GPU fan.  Is - this accessible slot PCIe x 1 compatible? • I'm trying to uninstall XP Service Pack 3

  I'm trying to uninstall Windows XP Service Pack 3 from my laptop.   I went on the site of microsoft and tried all different methods.  Method 1 did not show a Windows XP Service Pack 3.  Method 2 says "file not found".  Method 3 was only in April 2012.  I do not know the Service Pack has been installed before this, but I don't know when. I did a search of file for spuninst and found 142 records.  141 of them were in the folder Windows/Software/Distribution/download.  The last was in system32 folder/Preinstall.

  The computer is a Server 2003 and the initial install was XP Service Pack 1.  It was used for several years by my daughter, then sat for a few years.  I started again in October 2011.

  I want to uninstall the Service Pack, because I use a software that does not work properly under XP3.  The company said return to XP2 to remove bugs or improve the software to operate with any other operating system.  It would cost me a few thousand dollars.

  Since I was reinstalling XP Professional SP1 CD, it is possible that I can start all over again?

  According to this page, Janome Digitizer 10000 is not officially support in any version of Windows XP (although messages in the community of Janome forums say it works in Windows XP SP2 that you have discovered).

  If you have 2 choices:

  1 Uninstall SP3 (if possible), continue to use Digitizer 10000 but then never, NEVER connect the computer to internet at all!

  2. let SP3 and all post-SP3 installed but purchase updates & install (or upgrade to) Janome Digitizer Pro/MB (or higher).  [I found upgrades for as little as USD via Google $499].

  Note: Depending on where you bought the Windows XP computer, it might have are with WinXP SP3 preinstalled. If this is the case, you cannot uninstall SP3.

• Buying a laptop Lenovo W530

  This is my first post in this community. So a warm Hello from me.

  I am a candidate for the doctorate in mechanical engineering and am looking for a laptop that is well suited to the rigors of my University newspaper. My use typically involves the execution of an application of CAD (computer aided design) based in parallel with a finite element software/Solver. With my purchase of a MBP (3 years ago), I use the computer in my lab that has 16 GB of RAM. I found this satisfactory performance.

  I use this as a starting point for my waiting for my laptop. The only extra feature on my wish list (which I learned after reading this forum) is the use of a hard disk as my 'main' storage media (where my OS is installed) for faster boot times and performance. I assumed that it would justify the need for a secondary hard drive for storage of files that I don't use on a base daily (music/pictures/pdf etc.).

  In reading some of the messages on the community, I realize that most users wishing a powerful configuration, choose to buy the basic level of the Lenovo store W530 offer and then buy the hardware upgrades from online dealers and install them.

  I could really use the entry of this community to help me decide a good configuration of 'base' to buy in the webshop of Lenovo. I want to buy a machine that I might have the possibility of adding more RAM (DIMM connectors?), if you need to be at a later stage (on the 16 GB, for example, 2 years from now).

  Finally, it would be really good if the community could point me to picture that have been published on how to make these upgrades without messing up your computer.

  Budget wise, I think my ceiling would be around $2000-$2500 at the end of the day (initial purchase + updates).

  My laptop - I bought on or about February 9, 2013 - just audited the status of HP warranty.  When I turned on the computer and set up, I pass the registration process.  Always, however, the start date is listed as 13/11/2013 and the end date in the 17/12/2013.

  I think the warranty period should start on the day of purchase.  Why is it not the case?

  You will have to contact HP support to request a proof of purchase/update.

• Dell U2413/U2713H (or maybe Windows 8) issue of color management

  Hello guys!

  I am an excessive user of Photoshop / graphic designer and I just bought Dell U2413 to obtain, in combination with my graphics card Nvidia Quadro K2000, a true wide range/10-bit working environment of color which is very important for what I do. (Nec or Eizo was not an option because I've already spent so much money on other materials and I opted for Dell because I heard it is the best display in this price range - in my country, with taxes, it cost me 566 EUROS).

  Previously, I was working on iMac for almost a decade then separate pieces of hardware or Windows operating system was a new (and, I must admit, pretty scary) territory for me. However, after everything has been put in place, I tried to calibrate my monitor for the first time and then I was very unpleasantly surprised! Namely, I have X-Rite i1 Display colorimeter Pro and some optional software for it (ColorEyes display Pro and baslCColor display 5 was much better/appropriate for me because of their L * option for TRC so I never used it original i 1 Profiler is a software which is a LOT less than the previous two compering), but because Dell in it's manual said to use a calibration color UltraSharp Solution software is exclusively I decided to give it a go and try with it. But, to my (as I already said, very unpleasant!) surprise, I was EVEN less of i1 Profiler which, as I have said, was never an option for me.

  Not the end of the world, I thought, I'll re - calibrate it with ColorEyes Display Pro and everything goes well. But, after doing so, my unpleasant surprise become even more unpleasant, when I discovered that no matter what profile I chose in Windows Color Management and press "Set as default", nothing happens - my screen remains the same! The only way I can get a color change is if I create a profile using Windows built in utility. Profiles created in this way change the appearance of the screen, but all the profiles downloaded or created make no difference. And now I literally don't know what to do... The worst thing only of this, I can't blame WHO:

  1 Dell - that has a 'high end' view gives you ONLY a few factory presets + 2 custom profiles (Cal1 and Cal2) made by software calibration nowdays more inferior and useless;
  2. Windows 8 - who did a terrible color management which, in the same way, not a color at all management;
  3. me - who is unable to see put in place something that is more than simple & obvious?

  THANKS in ADVANCE for everyone is willing to help me solve this question and forgive me for a long (and perhaps confusing-) as you can say English is not my language kindergarten post!

  First of all if you use the eyes color pro with GBLED and i1DisplayPro and you're not invited to a sort of spectral correction for your type of backlight screen, you're hurting. No matter how visually pleasant it is, the profile is not accurate, playing WYSIWYB (what you see is what you believe) not WYSIWYG.
  Second, unless you have purchased/updated Basiccolor Display 5 after may 2013 (NEC GB LED suppor for PA242W, 5.1.2 version) with GBLED and i1DisplayPro, its measures are wrong, no matter how nice of calibration is.

  With your questions:
  You have 6 presets:
  -CAL1/CAL2, please read questions configuration on the Dell color calibration Solution in this instance. Please install the latest version 1.0.1.0 (67MB) and disable all color adjustments in yor GPU nvidia (bright colors, digital vibrance... all OFF). Most of us use in Windows 7 without problem (after a few configuration settings: spectal correction for GBLED files)

  -Factory-sRGB/AdobeRGB which are probably with a white point off the coast of the D65, recalibrate in GPU LUT with ArgyllCMS/DisplayCal. Works very well.
  -Standard with a usually arround WP 7000 K (native GBLED WP), if calibrated in GPU LUT with ArgyllCMS/DisplayCal ' nearest the locus of the daylight "of your native WP should give about your contrast of 1000: 1. It is perhaps unnecessary to your workflow, but it is better to know it.
  -Custom, native, fully customizable range WhitePoint, blackpopint and luminance of D50 D70 and beyond.
  Work with color management applications just you Custom, CAL1 and CAL2.

  You may have a problem with Windows (from Windows Vista from) color management. By default, Windows does not allow profiles (but applications can) rewriting GPU LUT of calibration. You need to configure.
  In W8, it's done:
  -From the right panel-> Search-> color management
  -Go to the tab advanced options
  -Click on "change default settings...". ', the button down with administrator privileges.
  -Go to the tab advanced options in this new window
  -Toogle check buton (bottom) "windows use on screen calibration" (sorry I don't have an English version of Windows and I don't know the exact text)
  -Reload button calibrations (bottom)
  -Close
  -Go to the "Devices" tab and select your screen in the upper drop-down list
  -check the box "use my record for this device".
  -Select your profile

  Your screen SHOULD be the same printer Dell preset OSD in which this profile was created, without other changes in contrast or brightness.
  If enabled, please disable the "AUTO" mode in the Dell Display Manager tray icon, use the manual mode with "enhanced video" (last tab) OFF.

  BTW and I know that this is not your case, but without workflow 10bits or gamma in 3DLUT (NECs & eizos) L * gamma calibration is not necessary.

  For those who have worn with 8-bit or DA better sRGB gamma CRT and let Photoshop or GIMP color management to make corrections for images ECIv2 (or with similar profiles of gamma)

  OK, I thought that I must give to CC... But on the CS6 FAQ page, the question arises, ', I own an earlier version of a Creative Suite product or suite edition.» "Do I get a discount if I switch to CS6?" and the answer is,

  «An edition on CS5 or CS5.5 owners eligible for the price to upgrade to an edition on CS6.» Owners of an individual product of CS5 or CS5.5 will qualify for the upgrade on the CS6 product price. Any version earlier that CS5 will not be eligible for the upgrade price. »

  As you said, CS6 is a few years, so it is possible that this has changed and has just not been updated on the FAQ page. So, I wanted to just make sure before I purchase/update.

• Can't get LR CC have uninstalled, LR6 keeps thinking it is LRCC even though I have a serial number

  I am a member of the CC for Photoshop and had LR5, purchased version.

  During the upgrade of LR5.7 to LR6, I installed by mistake LR CC (I thought it would be easy to uninstall once I had made my decision to buy LR6 or not).

  Then, I bought the full version (as a LR5 purchased update) uninstalled LR CC, have installed LR 6. After that, LR6 kept showing LR 6 CC as the program name in the window of LR, and after a while I asked myself to buy the software or close it (i.e. it really haven't run more).

  I have a serial number for the LR6, and I had installed from the installation program downloaded after purchase of the local version of the LR6 (not CC). And I can remember, I enter the serial number when I installed LR6 the first time around.

  I just uninstalled it again and reinstalled and this time I didn't even get asked for the serial number, and the window of the program displays LRCC once again, no mention of LR6 any more.

  Does anyone know how can I get rid of leftovers of CRD and can do a clean install of LR6? I tried the Adobe support cat, but keep getting sent around in circles without getting to talk to anyone, the system has changed a lot since I finally asked a question. And I've upgraded LR 6.01.

  Before a (stand-alone) LR6 license it shows like LR CC 2015 - this is normal since it's the same software/installer.

• Adobe - OEM mass deployment

  In one of our clients, we buy all our big dealers systems (dell, hp, etc.) and all rooms have Adobe Acrobat OEM.

  We are about to do a mass upgrade to windows 7, and I was wondering if there is a way to fill all the serial numbers in a database with the name of the associated computer or something and entrust the installation to get the serial number from there, rather than having to go to each station to install acrobat after deployment.

  Hi, why don't you just get a license in Volume Adobe instead?

  In this way there is just a serial number unique for all machines, regardless of whether the level or full purchase update...

  Adobe has made a deal going right now for an additional license free Acrobat x for every many you buy, then you can make nice trips.

• Upgrade to Premiere Elements 8.0?

  I recently purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0.  He had a free trial 30 days for Premiere Elements 8.0 which I install delivered with it.  I used just now want to upgrade (because available because I think $49.95) but you can find no way to get him out inside each program or on the Adobe website. Does anyone have an idea how to go on this subject?  I explored the site, nothing helped, and there seems to be no way (as with other software) in in the trial version of purchase/update.
