  Lol actually, versions only available student are subscriptions of creative cloud for students and teachers.

  Where can I get propper information regarding upgrade path if I m the owner of a "Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web - Premium Upgrade (MAC) - upgrade from Adobe Creative Suite 5.5.

  It seems to me that I have to buy one of the CS 5.5 versions listed on the installation of the upgrade package , but I m unshure about language.

  What I need to buy an English version or I am free to choose a version provided to the European Union or the Switzerland (as marked on the package, too)? I am a German user of Swiss origin.

  It would be very nice if you could help me with this!

  CS5.5 Version (non 5.0) auf basis einer EUW (Englisch) oder eine arbitrary other European language. Sharp werden im Code als block "lRE/JPL" bzw. Gekennzeichnet "EUW/IE.

  I'm running into a serial number error.  I am trying to upgrade Adobe Design Premium 5.5 to Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium.  When I'm prompted to enter the serial number for Adobe Design Premium and I copy directly from my account it says "this series isn't for a product calling." Please try another. "What I am doing wrong?

  This message indicates it requires the serial number of the previous version from which you are migrating.  Which is that you are using, or you enter the cs6 right there?

  You can uninstall your cs5 programs if you wish.  or you can keep them and use them all by using the most recent versions of the cc.

  • Launch the Task Manager, right-click on the taskbar and click Task Manager
  • Kill all associated Adobe creative process as the cloud, CC, CCX, Core Sync, Adobe Office service, Adobe CPI brokerage
  • Windows-press and the letter R together to get a run dialog box.
  • type %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto and then click ok
  • Open the folder named as local and then Adobe, then OOBE
  • Delete Opm.db inside the OOBE
  • Launch creative cloud desktop application and it should allow you to use another e-mail address

  For Mac

  • Launch the activity monitor
  • Kill all associated Adobe creative process as the cloud, CC, CCX, Core Sync, Adobe Office service, Adobe CPI brokerage
  • Open finder and in the finder menu, click OK, and then go to
  • Type following command ~/library/application support/Adobe/oobe /.
  • Delete opm.db
  • Launch creative cloud desktop application and it should allow you to use another e-mail address

  I bought Acrobat Pro DC for Mac as an upgrade from my previous old Acrobat 9 Pro. Unfortunately, when try asked the serial number of my old version, Acrobat 9 PRO does not appear in the menu (ita starts with Acrobat 10). How can I do?
  

  The answer is you can't. The only versions of Acrobat software eligible for upgrade to Acrobat DC are 10 Acrobat and Acrobat 11. Unfortunately, your only option with Acrobat 9 (or any other previous version of Acrobat) is to buy a full license (not updated). Please contact Adobe customer service (which is not here) for a refund or Exchange.

  I just abandoned PSE8 Windows to PSE8 Mac and can't find the Adobe Photoshop Services option in the tab sharing sharing. The "other options" link is missing. Version Mac does not it?

  You should be able to use your original acrobat 7 pro.  It does not need activation, it is not affected by the problem of activation of adobe server.

• Adobe Creative Cloud apps crash when opening files in El Capitan

  I've upgraded to Mac OS 10.11.3 El Capitan. My old Adobe suite CS5 was already summary in the older operating system so I've upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud 2015 (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, Acrobat, etc.). Illustrator crashes when saving an image that is 'save for web' (Image open/save for web/change to save for web window / click on 'save' / crash). Photoshop crashes when you try to open the document (open Photoshop/Open - either from 'Open' in the home screen or "open" in menu bar/folder window open / click on the folder or file/crash ""). Acrobat opens but crashes after clicking on 'Open', has to be force quit. Dreamweaver does not open. InDesign crashes at unpredictable points of key strokes at first. I have not tried all the applications, but the entire suite CC is unusable. I'm many threads and problems with Apple and Adobe, but can't find the answer.

  That has not helped Bani but thanks for the suggestion. I went on the Chat with Adobe support and up to now have dates back to an apple problem, not Adobe. That the problem does not recur when we open a new user account and allows to open programs. Now I will try to fix my user account and I'll follow up with the results.

• Adobe Application Manager has changed to Adobe Creative cloud?

  Hello. I LR6 and PSE13 x 64-bit standalone applications installed on my PC Win10 - earlier Adobe Application Manager himself upgraded to Adobe Creative cloud and put a shortcut on my desktop. I don't want any subscription can I just ignore it and not I connect to creative cloud (or even uninstall it, even if your pages help advise not to do the latter? If I then begins to each application and check for updates, I get the familiar Adobe Application Manager pop up, then why Adobe Creative Cloud installed? There as no mention of what happens before the update to Adobe Application Manager so I'm puzzled as to why I seem to be directed to the CC and, possibly, a subscription model - I am very pleased so far with my own versions thanks! Any light anyone can throw or reassurance that I'm not being forced to purchase a subscription when it is not wanted or needed would be much appreciated.

  The Cloud Manager replaces the Application Manager.  I deleted it just for my own peace of mind.

• Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop does not install

  I'm trying to install the trial version of Adobe Creative cloud on my Mac (10.9.5). When I run the installation of creative cloud, it shows "download Creative Cloud desktop" and then stops with the error message 'that we met following issues: Installer could not create a critical file. Please try to reinstall. (Error code: 44)'.

  Here's what I've tried so far:

  (1) try again produced the same result.

  (2) try the installation of my admin account gives the same result.

  Other info:

  (1) The machine has a copy under license of Adobe Creative Suite 5.

  (2) I have already installed a trial of CS6 but have since withdrawn that go CC place.

  3) deletion of the CS6 trial by the uninstaller failed - I had to remove the components manually.

  
  

  Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? Very frustrating because I need start using CC as soon as possible and buy a subscription.

  Hi Jeff,

  I came to the same conclusion, but the permissions problem was like hunting the needle in a proverbial haystack. I don't think using a temporary directory as you suggested is a solution because the user has no control over the installation program is where to install the files.

  In the end, I did as follows:

  1. Manually deleted all my internal drive Adobe products and cleaned cache, support for app files and preferences (BTW, which did not allow the installer to not work).
  2. Clone my external HDD internal SSD drive.
  3. Formatted my internal SSD drive.
  4. Re-installed Mavericks 10.9.5.
  5. CC Desktop successfully.
  6. Shot all my stuff on my internal SSD from the external hard drive using Migration Wizard.

  It took some time, but now everything works as it should.

  Problem solved!

• Firefox says need to update Adobe Flash, but Adobe Flash has no update for Mac OS 10.8.5. What should I do?

  I have Mac OS 10.8.5. Firefox said no need to update Flash. Looks like Flash was last updated is 23.0.0.207. I have 23.0.0.185. Adobe does not have a Flash update for Mac OS 10.8.5, only for the OS 10.9 forward. What should I do? I would like to continue to use Firefox with success. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
