  So yes, we have replaced the old file by the new modifed one, but somehow, the changes that we made in the pll being file do not appear

  So either your changes do not work, or you have replaced the wrong file and there is another instance of the plx elsewhere. What happens if you delete your plx. IF its does not exist, the form should throw an error, otherwise, there is another instance of the file.

• Unable to put files on remote server

  After building my site web, I am unable to put my files on the remote server using the button "Put file (s) to the remote server" of Dreamweaver.

  Here are the steps to put my files on the remote server:

  • In Dreamweaver, select Windows > files.
  • In the files Panel, local root folder of my site (on my computer).
  • Connect to the remote service by clicking on the button "connects to the remote host.
  • Click on blue arrow icon "Set files" in the files Panel toolbar.

  Here is an example of an error log I get:

  contact.htm - even - not transferred

  CSS.css - even - not transferred

  includes\banner\banner04_new_logo.jpg - Ditto - not transferred

  includes\banner\bottom_banner\bottom_banner.jpg - Ditto - not transferred

  I am able to work around this limitation by the remote server on Windows | Files, and then select manually the files that I want to put on the remote server and to copy it and paste it in. However, I'm looking for a more automated process by clicking on the blue arrow icon "get files".

  I discovered the root of the problem. My web site is stored in a folder called/public_html in my cpanel. However, / public_html was not configured as my Manager root in my Dreamweaver site definition. Therefore, Dreamweaver was my a level of the above files / public_html, at a place where my Internet users were unable to view the files. This would explain why I sometimes synchronize web site or put files and receive a message indicating that the operation succeeded, then find that the web page was not updated really. The reason is that the updated files were a level above / public_html.

  I managed to solve this problem by:

  • Configure the access/public_html path by going to: Manage Sites | Choose the Web Site | Select Edition | Servers tab. Change existing server | under the root directory, enter public_html
  • Deleting all files duplicate of cpanel.

  I am connected to the remote server and tried repeatedly to put files on the remote server. It is said either successful or not transferred, and the new page never gets in place. What I am doing wrong? I put files on my remote server before, but all of a sudden it does not work for me.

  Could you please delete the _notes/dwsync.xml file in the Website\images\ folder under the root of your site and try to put the files again?

  On the other hand, if I ask a publication on my hard drive, I have no problem opening.

  I'm on Mac OS 10.11.6 and plug-in Firefox and Safari as browser

  Loading your site I do not get the warning. On the company network (very fast) Adobe all files used by the Web concept-art in about 3 seconds page load.   Switch to Design view, or save before you exit mode Code and it will not come to the top.

  Dreamweaver CS5 will more post to the server after changing the password.  I get the error message: "an FTP error occurred.  Cannot establish a connection to the host.  Your login or passowrd is wrong.  Please check your login information.  I tried to change the password of ADOBE and the pwd connection host are the same.  This is not enough.

  Stop playing with your user name and password, Adobe has nothing to do with obtaining the files on your server.

  It is also possible/probable the log in information you have of BlueHost are for your accommodation via their Internet site admin panel and are separate from your FTP credentials as well.

  Call your hosting company and find out what are your "FTP username and login. Also be sure to get your 'root directory' and ' address/name of the home server' so you can fill in the fields correctly now that you found. Without this specific info, you will not be able to connect to their computer to download your site. You may be able to put this info via your admin panel, but usually the call will be faster.

  That's the problem with Muse. It's for people who don't want to mess with the code. But it seems that you or whoever created the site for you made a lot of tinkering with the code.

  I don't know how Muse structures pages and assets, but by looking at the error message, this is the style sheet that is missing.

  There are two ways I think you might be able to solve the problem. The first method I suggest is to include a link to the style sheet. For now, you link only the master styles.

  All tool allowing you to download files and folders malfunctioning the permissions on the folders. You can change the permissions on the folders, or remove the downloaded files/folders and then re - download either using the file > publish FTP host... feature of Muse (and the first time select Upload: All Files) or re-upload using a different external FTP (Filezilla for example) program, which manages the folder permissions correctly.

  Ok.  It looks like an incomplete installation.  Nevertheless, DW think that you have a local test server.  Every time that you save the files, he put copies in your C:\Users\Catherine\Pictures\tailormadeart folder.

  Except if you create dynamic web sites that use databases and scripts server side, you don't need a test in DW server.  All you need is a Local site and your remote server.

  For static HTML sites, I recommend you remove or clear the definition of testing server.  See screenshot.

  You can use HOST and put the rsultminto a text file, and then read that you use TEXT_IO, as

  This shouldn't be happerning.

  Deleted is deleted.  The only reasons that you'd still see the pages when you navigate to a deleted file are.

  1. the server is cached pages - ask your host to see if this is true.

  2. your local browser is caching the pages - clear your local cache.  How to do it depends on your browser.

  If you have eliminated these two alternatives, then the pages are still there and my previous alternatives apply.

  Try this - create a new test page with unique content.  Save it and upload it to the same location from which you delete the files.  If he don't have a download?  You can now navigate to this page?

  After a rest and a closer, I realized the mistake was in the line of mappath, was not including the folder as the files. strPhysicalPath = Server.MapPath (filepath) was wrong, so, I added the name of the folder: strPhysicalPath = Server.MapPath ("EMPLOYEE_FILES /" & filepath) then the file is deleted. so the complete code is:
