Put in redirects after the redesign of the site

Pretty sure it's easy for someone to answer for me:

I used Dreamweaver to create a new Web site, which will replace an older version of 'keeping' made with iWeb. The new site will have the same web address for the home page, but after starting a novice on iWeb, I see now that the old site page names are not relevant and cannot be transferred to the new site (the new site is restructured and with more content). While it was only a small site and relatively new, I want to assure you that if someone has bookmarked the old pages, they are sent to the corresponding part of the new site.

So my question is what is the best practice to redirect from somewhere that will not be there...?

Thank you, Matt.

Your accommodation has a CPanel / Control Panel?
Go inside and find a place to create 301 redirects.

When it's done the Server intercepts requests to the old page, refers
a 301 permanently moved to header and then put the new page. Which allows to
search engines don't know the status of moved and the new address of the page.

Check your hosting of pages of help/faq or google.

Yes. There was an internal policy on the limitation of the redirects that we reversed at the last minute before the launch. I am extremely pleased with the results.

I need this because I need to replace how some internal networks against Internet Explorer. Without this tag all my muse sites are detailed on our internal network. I guess that many networks of companies would have the same configuration. It's really frustrating to have to put it manually on every page whenever I export my Muse site.

Is there a way to get around this?

Interesting.

It is impossible within the Muse to add the code that appears earlier in the HTML content.

Given that it is an intranet site and apparently all content must be edge mode, you might consider to change the configuration of the server configuration of web servers to specify the modes of document (Internet Explorer)>.

There are 2 slashes after domain name now, when you need to publish a live site after the new update with Muse?

-It was always a slash after the domain name. And if BC publication the

Hi erinb61521593,

I did some tests at my end and can confirm that it is a known problem with the latest version of Muse but I advise you to choose the option with the / / at the time of release as it will download your site in good folder on the servers of BC (that points to your domain name) and after publishing the site if you go to the url with single / it works perfectly.

We already noted this problem with the developers of muse and I don't know that it will be fixed in the next version of Muse.

Feel free to reply to this post, just in case I missed something or if you have any other doubts about this.

• Site Office incorrectly redirects to the site of Tablet

HI - been looking for forums to answer this question-, while others have had trouble with this question in particular their variables were different.

While accessing the site on a laptop, it redirects incorrectly on the site of Tablet instead of the desktop version.

Only, I encounter this problem when you try to access the site via a computer touchscreen laptop Acer with Chrome and IE.

When can I access the site via my Macbook with any browser no problem.

The site is hosted by Business Catalyst.

Any ideas? Is the touch screen the variable? Can I change the redirection script even if I download the site within the Muse in BC?

Here is the address of the site: www.nadlercabinet.com

Here is a screenshot of how the Office should show below - thank you!

Update me the information and I'll try to reproduce on my end,

• I always redirected to the site of phone on my laptop!

Hello

When I visit a site Adobe Muse on my laptop, either a real site created with Muse online or when I saw I site I'm building in Muse, I always get the phone version of the site, which is obviously ridiculous on a 13.3 laptop screen ". I use a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 with a QHD display, so it is possible that the high resolution is confusing Muse? I don't know, but it is obviously very annoying. The scrolleffects.com site is very good (I get the right office website), but on muse.adobe.com, I'm automatically redirected to the website of phone. If I try to remove the 5876 URL, and then press ENTER, I so just get me headed back to phone home!

Thank you

Please try to change the resolution to 125% or 100%, then check.

Thank you

• Graphics & elements move after the site record!

Muse by train before buying it but come back throughout a major problem.

After the design of a page with images and elements, download and site successfully record, when I just run the Muse and the site again just on the page is in every sense.

The screenshot below has the site on the right page and the fragmented Muse page on the left.

Error-Screenshot-1.jpg

I'll have to redraw the page whenever I load the site in the Muse. Not good! Have to think seriously about if to register after the trial period which is a shame, because in general, it does everything I want.

Can someone suggest a solution to my problem?

Tim

I'm sorry Tim,.

Please go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming-ici you will see com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0 (2015 may differ if you use a different verson) rename com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0 in com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0.old

* Note - Well that renaming the folder, make sure that Muse is closed. After you rename open muse-make the necessary changes, save and close the Muse. Try to open it again and see whether or not the changes reflect.

• Why am I redirected to the site web https

I have a site now, it doesn't matter the name of the site, really, but when I goto, it redirects me http: https:, it is a blank site with an empty index file, this happens only on this one site and ONLY happens in firefox, chrome, IE, edge, etc., all of this hard work. I have cleared the cache, history, everything, uninstalled firefox, resintalled, etc., always it redirects me to HTTPS on this one area, this is a new area, I installed on my hosting, it is obviously a bug with firefox, is it possible to prevent him from doing that? (I even made the subject: config and turned stuff url so what - not) It's firefox 49.01

You know what is maybe faster is:

• Open the dialog library of your story, be

• CTRL + SHIFT + h
• "Show all history".
• Right click on an entry from the history of the site and "forget this Site".

Which should remove all data, including the cache, history, cookies, bookmarks, AND all saved flag HSTS.

Lol by using a .htaccess file does not involve PHP at all. What follows
assume that the server had .htaccess enabled for your site and that
mod_rewrite is available.

First of all, check your preferences to ensure that your line breaks are
set correctly under UNIX (Edit-> preferences-> Format of Code-> line break Type).
Then check the remote files to see if there is an existing file named
.htaccess. If there is, download it and add the two following lines to
the lower part. Otherwise, create a new file that includes * only * the
following two lines:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^ $| ^ index.html$ /shop/home.php [R = 301, L]

Save the file as .htaccess in the root directory of the site. It's the
full name. The point is the first character of it.

Download the file on your site, then test immediately by accessing
http://www.sugarrays.co.uk to ensure that it works. If you get an error,
Delete the file from the remote control. If it works correctly, you will be
re-directed before any page is downloaded.

• I keep redirected to the American version of a site rather than the site of origin.

Recently I hooked to reading the articles of a UK site, but recently, when I click on the links in the article I'm automatically redirected to the American site and its contents to the place! I live in the United States but hate the American site articles and many prefer the British. Initially, my only solution was to stop the article during the loading in order to stay on the link of the desired article, but also the end that fails and I'm automatically redirected to the American pages instead (ugh...).

I am currently using 25.0 Firefox on Windows 7 Home Premium and checked the box 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' under Tools > Options > advanced > General > section accessibility but was always redirected. I also installed the add-on Refresh Blocker v0.8 but was always redirected. The site is http://www.denofgeek.com but when I select an article on their homepage or the categories I get redirected to the "equivalent" http://www.denofgeek.us As a precaution, I have performed an analysis of malware but come clean and have deleted all cookies and temporary internet files, but once again it was in vain.

Is there anything else I can do to avoid the redirect? Or if this site has officially lost a player? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know why you will be redirected, but here are a few thoughts:

(1) in case your preference for .us is stored in a cookie - rather than an account setting - try to clear the cookies for the site (this will probably end your session, so save all pending work first). While displaying a page on the site, try either:

• Click on the globe or the padlock in the address bar > more information > Security > "View Cookies".
• Right click on the page > View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
• Menu Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".

In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.

Any changes in the navigation of the homepage?

(2) if give you permission to site to access your location, that turns off. You can access specific permissions to the site while displaying a page on the site using the Page Info dialog box. Either:

• Click on the globe or the padlock in the address bar > more information > permissions
• Right click on the page > View Page Info > permissions
• Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions

(See screen shot on location approval)

(3) if the site uses your preferred language to redirect, you can add en-GB and reorganize your languages. However, this could lead to strange results on other sites. If you want to try it, go to the languages of content here options dialog box:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > content > select button

• Can I get the Firefox search bar for not automatically, go to the site of the search engine I spend?

The Firefox search bar seems to have changed since the last update. I understand that things are changing constantly and get used to them, but I wonder if it is possible to change the rear bar to the way it was, or at least understand why it changed.

Basically, I used to be able to switch from search engines by choosing from the drop-down list, and would not put me right at the site of this search engine. He didn't actually bring me to the site once I hit the search button (or enter). It's quite annoying to have to remember to open a new tab before changing search engines in order to avoid sailing away from the tab that you are currently on, and it's also annoying that when you open a new tab and change the search engines, you are immediately taken to the site of this search engine. It feels like an extra step (ranging from 'the empty tab search engine page to search result' instead of 'empty tab to search result').

I know it sounds like a minor complaint, no doubt, but I'm really really curious to know why it was changed. More important, I want to know if there is a way to customize the way it was.

Thanks for any help!

Many users have been raising this issue. I mentioned the same question in this post here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1086138

In summary, it seems that the Firefox team is not intend to bring back the ability to return to the old bar search, which was possible (but in a very biased way) in older versions of 42. For now, you can either:

• Download module additional classic restaurateur theme to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/?src=ss and then select the old search option
• Go back to Firefox 42 and set the browser.search.showOneOffButtons property in Subject: config. However, with older versions poses a risk to the security that you won't have bug fixes provided with version 43
