• MSAD configuration does not work after the password expired

  We have configured our MSAD with Hyperion with a test user.
  None of the users are now able to connect to the expiration of the password of the test user.
  I had configured MSAD by using the cssconfig.xml file as configuration through the shared service has not been successful.

  You cannot reset the password on as it was, you don't really have to use an account password is going to expire.

  Capture logon after user/password hash and store it in a part of the application. Create a On Load: before header process application which runs under condition if the hash of password/user session is different from the one currently in the database, the call apex_custom_auth.logout . This will disconnect the user on the first page is rendered after the password is changed, but will (in most cases), save the changes before you do.

• Windows 7 freezes after the password entered

  It is a windows 7 Compaq Presario laptop. It freezes immediately after the entry of the password. It crashes in safe mode as well. When I go to command Mode need me to network mode so I can't run all the tests. The fan had run hard before, but I don't think that is the main question. I could install a new hard drive but I don't have an operating system. I expect to get out of this without spending too much money

  in google search the answer seems to be on command prompt run as administrator hit command net accounts maxpwage: unlimited, but the problem is that it does not say the command has run successfully, instead, I get a bunch of say syntax

  NET {accts/computer/continue/group files/help/helpmsg/local/group/break/and session

  How can I fix this so I can finish the command successfully prevent my password expired. I know I can't fix through local user groups (not in windows 7 Home premium and not through the uac...)     I: have a step by step ordering process because I'm not a programmer and I am a user of intermediate consumption.  Thank you!!

I don't have to do anything really to my computer, I just worked in the command prompt. And that's simply because of the headaches that you've been through a couple of years.

  If you, or anyone else for that matter, is need for all stages of simplified then voila:

  I am under my user account with administrator privaleges. I am running Windows normally. Windows told me that my password is going to expire tomorrow.

  1) click Start menu

  2) command prompt type

  (3) right click on command prompt

  (4) select run as administrator

  (5) type the following text exactly net /maxpwage accounts: unlimited

  (so if someone told you that by phone (so read aloud and it's logical) it would be net accounts [space bar] [space bar] oblique (the one with the question mark key) maxpwage colon unlimited, no space after the slash)

  6) press [Enter]

  (7) you will receive a notice that says that the command completed successfully.

  I just thought that you, Redford, perhaps for another attempt after a couple of years. And, if I am incorrect, it is now listed on all together for someone else to use with the knowledge that he managed to fool the computer, me.

  For anyone else reading this, not Redford, when you work with the command prompt, you must type it exactly. That's why #5, brackets, I typed out as one addressed to you, something someone used, the other on me and it worked.   I received the above error when try to start the Manager of the company, I didn't even watch data bases is because they stopped sending me messages of the backup operation.
  
  I read in a post on this site to use SQLPlus and try to connect as sysman. I did, and he said the expired password then I closed that and tried again. Still the same message. I tried to sign in SQLPlus as sysman again and this time he said locked password.
  
  I have two instances with this problem instance A above and this B instance that is in the State that follows. Is the 2nd instance (B) is signed in SQLPlus as sysman after asking that the new password is I am still connected. To check if the user sysman ID is locked indeed, I started another shell and tried to open a session and the error on the account locked message comes up. I need to unlock the user using SQLPlus before you log out or close the command window. How do I in the B instance? Is what I do for example.
  
  In case it does not show, I know little about Oracle databases I took a beginner on Oracle online class.

  Go to start-> type mmc.exe and press on enter-> click Yes if UAC prompt-> in the window, go to file-> click Add/Remove snap...--> in Add or remove snap-ins dialog box, look for the local users and groups-> select and click Add-> in the dialog box, select the computer you want to control and click finish-> click Ok. Now, in the left pane, expand the local users and groups and you will find users and groups such as two records. Select users and you can find a list of the users in the right pane. Select the user you want to configure, and double click it. The dialog box has an option "password never expires", which will be activated by default. Clear the check box and click apply and then click Ok.

  If your computers are connected to your network (LAN), you can configure all computers using the same computer by selecting the option "another computer:" option which is present when adding local users and groups sanp - in, for each PC.

  Response if the issue is not resolved.

  No such thing as native .net or PowerShell integration in workflows, you will need to run it on a remote machine of the PS that is not elegant.

  But you're right about the time windows (I was not aware MS has also had a custom time period). Details can be found here where TI know pwdLastSet is also one of the fields used with windows time.

  Looks like you need to do the conversion yourself then. No generation function in JS basis I would like to know for windows-era. Without looking in it, in detail, it seems to be pretty easy by looking at this example in C.

  Basically, all you need to do to convert time UNIX WINDOWS-time is as follows:

  unixtime = (wintime - 116444736000000000) / 100000

  Then just use something like this to get your object date in javascript:

  var pwdate = new Date (Math.round (unixtime))

  Here's the scenario.
  
  I have a user (spokuri) OAM with the password (Oracle123) and im able to connect with these credentials.
  
  But it's when I reset the password for Oracle1234 for spokuri using the administrator credentials.
  
  Next time, when I try to connect with these credentials(spokuri/Oracle123) should not allow me to open a session to the User Manager since I changed the password to Oracle1234. Am I rite?
  
  But, it allows to connect to the User Manager with the old password and the new password.

• In Win7 login fails after the password prompt

  Sorry for my English, I'm french.

  I couldn't find all the technical problems sections so I post here for this:
  When I start the laptop, I fall on the win7 password screen, log in as I usually did, (it worked fine until yesterday) and then the screen says welcome and that's all. I have the blue circle 'win7 wonders' which means the work of the CPU, I see the HDD led flashes cyclically but it just hangs there.
  I rebooted after waiting 15 minutes. Work in failsafe mode, connect and started Avast anti-malware Malbytes and CCleaner and "free Registry Cleaner for 7. They took off some malicious programs and got rid of concerts wasted like temp files/folders.

  So I restarted as MalwareMalbytes asked, but it would always work in 'normal' mode (held in suspension looooong)
  Back to integrated security, I'm redoing all antivirus and malicious software and reboot the pc to the end.*
  Still it hung. I rebooted. At the command prompt to the integrated security mode, but I was upset and did not go for the integrated security mode but normal... it worked and recorded most of my personal files and I'm here to find a solution.
  I've had this laptop for toshiba was sent after a HARD disk failure. I am pretty upset by problems with this laptop. I love my Qosmio, but he doesn't like me back.

  If anyone has had this hanging welcome screen and found a solution, that would be fine to give an answer.

  Maybe it's just a BONE problem.
  Try to retrieve the laptop using the recovery disk or recovery disk you created probably in the past.

  To start the recovery of HARD drive, turn on the device, press F8 choose repair my computer, then HARD drive recovery.
  This would create the device to the factory settings.

  HP Support Assistant continues to work after expiration of the warranty. You will no longer updates after awhile because HP does not release updated constantly, but other functions will work.
