  If you lock a view, then you can create a new Viewer and see other views by simply clicking the name of the other computer in the Composition window. You can also enter a tab, any tab and drag this timeline, model or any other Panel to a new location. You grag the pattern to peas to the far left of the tab. There is information on organization of panels and workspace in the help files, and a quick Google search to view this short tutorial by Chris Meyer.

  You want to end up with something akin to this then start by clicking and dragging the tabs autour. You can understand it in a minute. Don't forget to lock the views of the model and ECW.

  

  When you want things back the way they were just go to the workspace and select reset.

  If you are looking for pivot, you will have many other examples. Almost all of them combine several rows of the table in a line of output, so they use GROUP BY, an aggregate function, such as MIN or SUM. Your problem doesn't have that.

  You should not rearrange or move applications. This applies to the creation of new folders also. Updates to expect to find in the designated place. You can accomplish what you want by creating an alias file and ordering them any way you want.

  As red Rooster have already said, use vi "string of Format Date/time" to not prevent elements of DateTime stamps that you need and also to choose appropriate delimiters.

  Keep in mind that ' / '&': ' are not allowed in Windows file names!

  Also to keep track of all your files in a folder, it is best to name your files 'Year-month-day"instead of the standard ' Monyh/day/year' (for Europeans at least ). This way you can easily find any file in a folder larger.

All 15 588 of them... now unorganized in one folder. 'Undo' didn't work and I tried to restore from a backup of the catalog without success. Also... my backup Time Machine refuses to restore because the drive is messed up, so it's useless. Lightroom has still all recognized records in the catalog, but the pictures are missing, (?) and not just "d - link" them and point Lightroom for photos in the new folder.

  So guess my question is, can I I go to each folder in lightroom and physically move all the photos that were previously in this NEW folder in this folder on the system automatically? It seems that lightroom recognizes the folders used to exist here... just can't find them. Well, I know that they are all in a folder and would like Lightroom to move them all back into their appropriate folders. In this way, when I search a folder on my computer (not in lightroom), the folder that contains the photos that used to be there. I hope this makes sense.
