QDir.entryInfoList ()->; std::bad_alloc!
Hi all!
For my PhotoUploader application I need to check all existing photos in the camera of the device files. It works like a charm for everyone who does no more than some thousands of files in this folder, but for those who have, I am unable to read this directory...
It is an application without long head and the following code is used inside a thread of the service:
QDir dir(path); // /accounts/1000/shared/camera QFileInfoList result = dir.entryInfoList(QDir::Files | QDir::NoDotAndDotDot | QDir::Readable, QDir::Time | QDir::Reversed);
It always freezes on my devices (Z30 & Dev C) with a large amount of files in this directory. I put a try-catch autour and it always throws an "std::bad_alloc" exception when it crashes... I tried to move to dir.entryList (...), but that makes no difference at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
Sven

Photos crashes at the start of the App
OS X Photos falls down in a few seconds after I open it
I am sure that the problem is specific to this library, as two other libraries of Photos I charge upward without crashing or any other question
I had enough time to play with some preferences before accidents, such as the photo stream and iCloud sharing power. Unfortunately, none of this makes a difference. Ive tried to fix the library, start in Safe Mode, reset the PRAM and NVRAM, erase all caches related Photos user/library/containers to issue records, even to reinstall OS X in the hope that it was an app - none of this has made a difference.
Before it is suggested, I am fully aware that you can open the library package, enter full of photo files folders and drag them all to a new library empty. If it's preventable, I really want to do. My current library contains more 50 000 photos, many have been published. Moving to through would be thorough and above all, I would lose the links between original/editing photos, much metadata, etc. - which are too important to sacrifice, if there is actually a way to fix the library
I've seen other users showing similar problems with their own libraries, but none of them apply to mine. Many of their problems have been resolved with updates, which did not help to solve my problem. I hope someone knowing a lot more technical that me can help to understand this

It could be related to faces and thumbnails. This gives a test:
1 - Make sure you have a current backup of the library.
2 - Open the library package
3 identify and move all the contents of the folder thumbnails to the trash in the Dock.
4 - Open the problem with pictures library and check for any what improvement.
This was first posted by jetsam user in this topic to troubleshoot issues with faces: faces do not display icon photo might work for your problem.

Hey Leonie,
I tried the rotation back, and while he was working for as much as the thumbnails go, all the position of face recognition were all moved and non-aligned next to the face. So I decided to try something else.
A backup copy of the library and then selected in first Show Package Contents after right-clicking on the library. Then, I deleted everything under the thumbnails folder. All the thumbnails have been then regenerated successfully.
Much simpler and less time consuming than the rotation method.

12 - inch macbook (early 2015) does take STD to any resoluation?
I'm reviewing using 4 K and Ultra HD TVs with your Mac - Apple support screens to see if my 12-inch macbook Early 2015 can support of STDS at any resolution. It lists the systems that can support 60 Hz, but I don't care Hz. basically, I try to see if there is any solution of double external monitor for the macbook.
Under "views taken in charge and configurations" near the top of the article you attached, he explains that your machine can use 4 K and Ultra HD TV screens.

Hello.
I worked on a test system that will potentially TestStand to its base and downloaded/installed the 4.2.1 assessment. The latest information of the information dialog box are:
TestStand engine version 4.2.1 (4.2.1.83)
Verison 4.2.1.83 sequence editor
The system will push mobile radio using interfaces serial RS232 devices, usnig a variety of protocols series (Hayes and some protocols binary owners for other work).
We already have in existence, a tester of soaking, written unmanaged dll in VS2005 with MFC and also managed dll that is mixed together to provide the different aspects of the functionality required for binary protocols.
I created:
1. a "wrapper"master"DLL for the constellation of the other dll - it offers a simple C API interface that I hope TestStand will use. "We call it"SerialSessionMgr.dll"
2. a mixed managed / unmanaged "IJW" (it works) DLL that wraps Protocol binary log control interfaces, which are entirely management C + c++ / CLI: DLL calls "master" wrapper"this as an unmanaged interface to create instances of the class compiled by CLI which interfaces to the underlying managed dll imlpementing protocol logging. It's called "WinTseInterface.dll".
Until I started evaluating TestStand, I struck up a test harness using CPPUnit / MFC, with which I could test SerialSessionMgr.dll and its ' use of WinTseInterface.dll and check that they worked. The sling load the DLL dynamically at runtime using AfxLoadLibrary() trying to emulate the TestStand way he uses.
When we opened a TSE session:
- The SerialSessionManager made a call to the WinTseInterface.dll to 'create' an instance of logging. The instance is created in a std::map held by the CWinApp derived class, this map contains boost::shared_ptr of the class that works with a managed class. So we have a record of appeal: Client app-> SerialSessionManager {TseStartSession ()}-> WinTseInterface {WINTSE_GetWinTseBridge ()} - just WINTSE_GetWinTseBridge() creates a new instance of the unmanaged class through the managed CLI/C++ class interfaces slot, which returns the address of the SerialSessionManager, that stores.
- The SerialSessioManager actually initializes the WinTseBridge using a method of a class of virtual interface implements pure C++ class in the std::map in the WinTseInterface DLL. The call to initialize passes various details and actually called 'New' to create the managed class which of your interfaces to the underlying managed DLLS that implement the protocol logging.
My DLL loading logs as seen in VS2005 debug output are joined this message in PDF format
While trying to solve this problem, I tried:

Hi, I'm writing a wrapper dll that using OpenCV function. I had been sucessfully implement Std::Vector
by referring to "An array of clusters to a dll C sending". And now, I want to implement the Std::Vector<>
> who is a lot like table 2D but each line items may be different. In LabVIEW, I attribute a range of cluster of the dashboard cluster of 2 I32 elements, structure which is shown below:
I think it has the same functionality as Std::Vector<>
> in C++. So I plug this data on the "Call library function node" structure and generate C code that indicated below:
/* Call Library source file */ #include "extcode.h" /* lv_prolog.h and lv_epilog.h set up the correct alignment for LabVIEW data. */ #include "lv_prolog.h" /* Typedefs */ typedef struct { int32_t elt1; int32_t elt2; } TD4; typedef struct { int32_t dimSize; TD4 elt[1]; } TD3; typedef TD3 **TD3Hdl; typedef struct { TD3Hdl elt1; } TD2; typedef struct { int32_t dimSize; TD2 elt[1]; } TD1; typedef TD1 **TD1Hdl; #include "lv_epilog.h" void funcName(TD1Hdl arg1); void funcName(TD1Hdl arg1) { /* Insert code here */ }
Then, I write this code show below in dll wrapper:
void funcName(TD1Hdl Blobs) { vector < vector
> blobs; // Distribute contents of blobs to Blobs from LabVIEW MgErr err = mgNoErr; size_t arraySizeInBytes = Offset(TD1, elt1) + sizeof(TD2)*blobs.size(); // Determine row size err = DSSetHSzClr(Blobs, arraySizeInBytes); if (err != mgNoErr) return; (*Blobs)->dimSize = blobs.size(); for (size_t i = 0; i < blobs.size(); i++) { arraySizeInBytes = Offset(TD3, elt) + sizeof(TD4)*blobs[i].size(); // Determine col size of each row err = DSSetHSzClr((*Blobs)->elt[i].elt1, arraySizeInBytes); if (err != mgNoErr) return; /*......................*/ } } When I call LabVIEW dll, the program get interuption(i.e shutdown) on line where I want to determine the size of each row.
Could someone give me some suggestions on this subject or promote another application of this requirement?
Thank you very much.MgErr funcName(TD1Hdl Blobs) { vector < vector
> blobs; Labeling(image_binary, blobs); // the prototype of this function is: Labeling(Mat &binary, Vector > &blobs) // Distribute contents of blobs to Blobs from LabVIEW MgErr err = mgNoErr; size_t arraySizeInBytes = Offset(TD1, elt) + sizeof(TD2)*blobs.size(); // Determine row size if (contours == NULL) { Blobs = (TD1Hdl)DSNewHClr(arraySizeInBytes); if (Blobs == NULL) err = mFullErr; } else err = DSSetHSzClr(Blobs, arraySizeInBytes); if (err != mgNoErr) return err; for (size_t i = 0; err == mgNoEerr && i < blobs.size(); i++) { arraySizeInBytes = Offset(TD3, elt) + sizeof(TD4)*blobs[i].size(); // Determine col size of each row if ((*Blobs)->elt[i].elt1 == NULL) { (*Blobs)->elt[i].elt1 = (TD3Hdl)DSNewHClr(arraySizeInBytes); if ((*Blobs)->elt[i].elt1 == NULL) err = mFullErr; } else err = DSSetHSzClr((*Blobs)->elt[i].elt1, arraySizeInBytes); if (err == mgNoErr) { (*((*Blobs)->elt[i].elt1))->dimSize = blobs[i].size(); /*......................*/ } } (*Blobs)->dimSize = i; return err;} Personaally I've usually done like this. Already, the tar of DSSetHSzClr() indicates if there was something wrong and that the handle cannot really become NULL to call this function.
To be entirely correct and safety integrated, you must do more than that. But as long as you assume that the incoming picture is always smaller that the outgoing Board will be (usually it be 0 items when you enter this function, but if you reuse sort table in the diagram, by storing it in a registry change for example, this may not be true more) this will be enough.

I am about to install Microsoft SQL server on my server Windows 2012 R2 2014.
The network consists of three offices of construction, all connected through VPN tunnels.
There is only one server in each office, all promoted domain controllers servers. (Two servers running Windows 2012 R2 server Std, the first domain controller is running on the Windows 2008 R2 server).
The installation allows me to have single login in one of the networks of site and access my storage server.
I have some difficulty during the installation of Microsoft SQL server 2014. It seems that the service will not start.
I install SQL server by using the domain administrator, such as the local administrator account is deleted due to the promoted feature of DC. Facilities is made from the server that will have the SQL service running.
Best practices or the settings before installation very appreciated.

Windows 2008 Server R2 Std - issue of Best Practice Analyzer
Windows 2008 Server R2 Std - question BPAI built a new Windows 2008 R2 Standard Server and configured as a domain controller. When you run the BPA I get the following error, which I can not solve:Question:
The default domain controllers policy is not in force on the OR OR = Domain Controllers, DC = WRIGHT.
Impact:
If the Group Policy settings that are defined in the default domain controllers policy are not applied to domain controllers, Active Directory operations may fail.
Resolution:
Link the default domain controllers policy to the ORGANIZATION OR unit = Domain Controllers, DC = WRIGHTThe default domain controllers policy is linked to the domain controllers OU. I dun dcdiag and the only failure is NCSecDesc but I don't plan to add an RODC to the forest. When I run the resulting strategy game I can see domain controller policy has been applied.
Is there something I can do to clear this error message?Hello Lynn Furlong,
