Qosmio F60 - keys does not

I recently reformatted my laptop, a PQF65A of Toshiba Qosmo F60-00U002 and since that the touch buttons (without wire, play/pause, cut, etc), the button to activate the touchpad on and outside and gray function keys stopped working (strangely the volume up/down button buttons still work very well, although they are the only ones doing).

How better to do to resolve this issue, or find more information?

> I recently reformatted my laptop...
How did you do that?
What operating system do you use?

I don't know what you did exactly, but what you can do is to install/reinstall added value Package. Part of this package is utility control buttons.

    Hey Buddy,

Have you reinstalled as Flash Cards Support utility? The FN keys to both tool and value added package.

Again, you should check the site Web of Toshiba Flash Cards Support utility:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads

So uninstall old utility Support Flash Cards and then install the latest version of it.

    Check this box!

  • Satellite A300 - easy (key) does not not after SP2 update

Satellite A300 easy (key) does not...
I have recently upgraded my Vista SP1 to SP2 (do not know if this is the problem, but I'm pretty sure that's not)

Yesterday, I discovered that my easy keys no longer work. Lights are out, when I press the keys, the light comes on and goes off again as they do normally, but no reaction on my screen (can not turn on any light without restarting my computer and select turned ON manually cannot transform media of windows opened by the touch and play the key do not work).

Is it supposed to be a driver or something for this?

    Sorry for the bad English...

    Hello!

A few days ago, I had the same problem on my laptop Qosmio. Lighting keys stopped working after installing some updates and the 3rd application programs the keys no longer works and also the lighting.
At the end of the story, I had to reinstall Windows :(

In any case, now, you should try to reinstall the Toshiba value added Package. He controls these buttons that you want to say and you can find it on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

Before installing you need to remove the old version first, restart the computer, clean up your Windows with CCleaner for example, restart again and then install the new VAP.

    Good bye

    Need help please

    Joe

As far as I know, FN + F10 or FN + F11 active integrated keyboard and cursor control keys.

Satellite M70 is a fairly old machine and I do not remember which driver may be responsible for this control. Try to reinstall the Toshiba Accessibility or FN-esse utility. Maybe this will help.

I had M70 long ago, but I've never used this option.

Since then, fn + z key does not work, it says that light keyboard turns off whenver I press it.

Strange. Something like that shouldn't happen. I updated my machine, but everything works fine.

I don't know if this will help, but try to reinstall the driver of Toshiba system and function key utility Toshiba.

You should find it on the download page of Toshiba - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
    Check it out.

  • Portege R700 - Touch Pad, ecoUtility and presentation of the key does not

    Hello

    I got a Portege R700 with Windows 7 64 bit.
This machine starts very slowly after the log in user mode only.
The system is waiting for 1 to 2 Minutes before you can work. In administrator mode erverything is fine and fast.

Thus our directors thought it might be the Toshiba Software and a lot has been disabled or uninstalled.
Because this did not help and because I thought that it migt be cause of Kaspersky, I started to reinstalled and update the software from Toshiba. Most of it works now. Shortcut keys does not work, then I start TfcRst.exe via autostart now, even he would somehow it would be better in 'systemecommencent '.

But still some keys do not work. The Tablet touch power switch, just above the touch pad does not work.
The Fn F9 works. And the two keys to the right upper corner (ecoUtility/off button and the presentation-Key) do not work. In all three major, I get a pop up saying "this function not taken in charge.

Anyone has any idea of this?

    Thank you

    Hello

Why you n t try to restore the operating system back to the same state until the administrator has removed or uninstalled the Toshiba Software?

Generally speaking the VAP (value added package) controls the multimedia keys.
Also the FN keys require the VAP and Flash memory card Support utility.

    Welcome them

  • FN key does not work on the satellite L745

yesterday, I uninstall almost all toshiba prog and then my FN key does not work!
Please help me this laptop is only a week

    Hello

Install the VAP (value added package) and reboot the laptop.

Then install the Support Flash Card utility and reboot once more.
    Then test the Fn keys.

The buttons are controlled by Flash cards, so you should be able to use the buttons after a new installation of this app.

  • Portege 3500: FN key does not work

the FN key is not working and when you start get the recovery of the thotkey failed

What function of the FN key doesn't work?
If the switch show FN + F5 n t work buttons you need to install utility for display devices access keys. If the wireless shortcut key does not work, you need to install Wireless hotkey.
As you can see, different applications and drivers are required to use different Fn keys.

But common modules must be installed always, because this driver is important for every application from Toshiba. Also, be sure to reinstall the utilities.
Visit the Toshiba for the necessary drivers.

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite and the BACKSPACE key does not work.

He will start work the rare opportunity, but then it just stops working again.
This happens on everything, including word and internet ect.

It has been like that for a few weeks now and I turned the laptop and turn off many times.
Is there a way to fix it myself or I send for repair?

    Please, * don't * tell me:
    Get an external keyboard
Try it turn on and off
Just highlight the words and use the delete key - it's annoying to have to do this all the time
Type carefully and do not make so many mistakes

    Thank you!

    > Please, don't tell me not to:
    > Get an external keyboard

And why shouldn't t someone recommends you to check the functionality using the external keyboard?

It s recommended to connect an external keyboard to verify how the BACKSPACE key would work using 2nd external keyboard. In case the back might work properly using USB keyboard, the question is very clear; in such cases its main shortcomings. The key cannot be replaced or changed or fixed. In this case, need to replace the entire keyboard!

In case the BACKSPACE key does not even using the external keyboard, then this would mean that the internal keyboard controller is faulty and in this case only the replacement motherboard would be useful.

But to be honest, I think that its simple keyboard failure and a replacement would solve this.
