  Your problem is a specific problem of the country. It is not easy to say what may be the problem. The only thing I can suggest is manual programming of the channels. You can maybe on this way to find an exact frequency of this channel.

• Irish critical update needed to solve the problem of black and white tv on the G20!

  I recently had trouble with the implementation of the tv on my Qosmio G20, I was directed in the direction of an issue of black and white affecting earlier models. The solution to the problem was to use the drivers of the g20 and run 2 reg files.

  Having done that I tried all combinations Irish possible, with still in black and white without success, I then tried UK and got the color.

  I mucked with the recording files and found that there is no Irish layout in the file, then when a user updates to Ireland as their situation they will always get black and white.

  The Ireland uses the exact same settings for television as in the United Kingdom, however if a person chooses UK they fall outside the Irish guides or Irish to choose channels amongst (Ireland is not part of the United Kingdom)

  I found the settings for the United Kingdom-

  Thinking the 44, was the dialing code for the United Kingdom (which took a while to understand), I added an entry to register with exactly the same parameters but with the Ireland and 353 above.

  I just purchased a Qosmio F20 and yesterday I bought a S-video/SCART cable to connect the computer to my TV. To my surprise, the TV image is displayed in black and white. Could it be the cable? I'm doing something wrong?

  If you use S-video connection, in this case you must activate S-video port on your TV.
  Try also using delivered cable SCART to connect.

  One question; Did you purchse the notebook in your country?

  I guess that the black and white image appears on the TV. Am I wrong?
  This can happen if the TV doesn t s-video or if the s-video option is not enabled on the TV.

  In addition, I would recommend to check the version of the driver installed tuner.
  Then go to the page of the Toshiba driver and check the version of the tuner driver.
  If the new driver is available, so please download and install on the Qosmio.

  I have a Qosmio G30 Win XP MCE running. I'm watching the TV from my digi via S-video sky box in the port within the media library. The problem is that the picture is black and white and not very good (lots of interlacing artifacts).

  I checked the driver for the 'TOSHIBA PCI DVB-T/Analog Tuner hybrid' and I am running the latest version of Toshiba, I also checked the output settings on my Sky box digi, which are correct. Is there a resolution?

• Fuzzy black and white Tv signal - G20

  I use windows media center, when you configure the "tv in" (antenna) it asks me to choose the type of signal tv and where I am located, I chose cable/Ireland. Then it scans for channels. It is all, although he finds it both times, but the problem is, it displays as a black and white scrambled signal. I tried the signal in my TV and its perfect.

  Anyone know a fix? IM thinking that Media Center is not changed the settings to watch tv properly.

  You will find a Tuner driver. I don't know the details of your laptop, but there are different tuner driver. Maybe the update will solve the problem

  MY older iPad has changed color in the negative as opposed to a positive image. I could change this in black and white.  How do I change back to color if settings > general > accessibility > invert colors does not solve the problem?

• 23 Firefox with JWPlayer shows video in black and white

  Just upgraded to FF 23 Win8 running. Videos using JWPlayer now reproduce in black and white with a vertical bar on the RIGHT side of the green screen.

  YouTube and other videos work fine.

  It is not a problem with the video source that I can upload them and they display properly. It runs only in a page of FF.

• My screen seems to have gone out.  Everything worked well then there black and white vertical lines on the screen.  Had to make a hard stop, bury ashes hold the power button. Now no display
