  Are you sure Sony support the controller on a PC?  If you are just using a pilot implemented by a guy then it probably won't work on 64-bit.

  My advice, pick up a wired Xbox 360 controller.  Windows Update uses drivers and it will install immediately.  If you want to go wireless, you can use a wireless controller with the USB Gaming receiver for Windows.   I tried install driver TougchPad of Snyaptic, which is specific for laptop HP Clubhouse anthter of my friends, so I'm satisied with the result, I've found so far, but the mouse has been updated only.
