• IdeaPad Yoga 13 - HDMI of bad image quality on the TV 1080 p screen?

  Hi people, I have recently connected my Yoga via HDMI to my TV Samsung 40 ". Unfortunately, the image quality does not as good as my old T61 via VGA hooked up to my TV. Image via HDMI on my TV has some sort of "shadows" around the edges at all. I use a HDMI Basics Amazon cable that is capable of 3D and Ethernet over HDMI - I think this cable should be ok.

  Did it someone else faced with problems with the picture quality of the Yoga on a TV via HDMI before?

  Just for completeness: it was my TV sharpness settings. I had to turn off completely disable the artifacts.

  Hi all.

  Newbie-Pr but experienced pro audio digital. I am confused and I know I am missing just something somewhere.

  I made a video for one of my songs. The graphics are quite (in AE), imported Pr and everything what is superb. I import the final audio mix and it sounds very poor quality when played the chronology and the final output, regardless of the format (I tried several presets and custom as well settings). I played a bit and noticed that the audio sounds fine when played in the Source window inside the Prime Minister.

  The session of Pr is comrised of 18 video tracks (not all playing at the same time, of course) and a stereo audio track.

  I tried to re - export audio from logic to depths of different bits, sampling frequencies and formats of file (mp3, wav, AAC, etc.) but the results are the same each time: Source (Pr) sounds very good, logic output sounds very well made / reading of the timeline looks very bad quality mp3 and produces final sounds just as bad.

  I tried everything I can think of. I hope one of you can show me what I'm missing.

  I lived the same results, no matter what I used the export settings. In addition, the poor quality of the sound was present in the timeline itself, without even exporting the project.

  Finally, I lifted my hands, has launched a completely new project, the same audio file in drugs... sounded good. Copied / pasted the video clips in the project original, broken and boom, everything is fixed. Yes, corrupted file Pr, it turns out. All I had to do was start a new project and import all the old components.

• How to add fullness to the song

  Im having trouble adding the fullness of my voice and need to learn how to proceed with the hearing. what I'm talking about is the song looks really "airy" staggered. no initial and thick. Ive tried again Equalization and compression, but I'm not really good at home. bad list a link to the song that you have an idea of what im talking. I'm looking for a voice full of longer survey. not the background was aired on type. I need the sum suggestiovns on what to adjust such as how to compress or ideas on where it could be eq'ed ect... until this ive been able to get so that the vocal volume itself is stronger... but there's airy sounds. Ive also tried stack the tracks... as having the same voice and pan left and right 2 3... but it increases the volume... and sounds on still images.

  Well, I should start by saying that hip hop is not a genre, that I often deal with so maybe I'm the wrong person to comment, but some ideas for you.

  First of all, I wonder if your 'home of soundproof box' could be part of the problem.  Enclosing a microphone in a box (or even partially enclosing) allows indeed to sonorous voice (believe it or not) boxy - and this is something that I hear in your record.  Don't be misled by things like the SE reflection filter and assume you can surround the back of your neck no matter how - things like that must be carefully designed to allow 'air' in the system.

  Secondly, EQ can help you a bit.  A subtle amount of boost in the range 200-300 Hz should accentuate the fundamental frequencies of your voice and do you a little more "mushy" sound and recording a little warmer.  The problem is the same helping hand could well make the dish I mentioned worse - another reason to consider not using the box.  Another subtle bit of boost in the range of 3-4 k should help your consonants and make you look a bit closer to the microphone.

  I don't know that you need more significant compression.

  In any case, hope this helps or at least gives you some ideas.

  1. have you installed any third-party DVD burning software on the computer?

  Method 1.

• Sansa Clip Zip battery does not charge, goes directly to the screen of the song

  It's my third Sansa MP3 players.  The first was a Sansa Fuze with the round button.  Like that one but my husband needed more that I did it I gave it to him.  He is old, but the player is still so today.

  The second was a Sansa Fuze + with the touchpad.  The touchpad has been way too sensitive but I need to play only two songs for sleep therapy while I was fine with it until the battery suddenly stopped charging a few months ago, I posted my problems in the Sansa Fuze + forum.  After trying a few suggestions, I finally accepted that he was a Goner.

  I bought this Sansa Clip Zip 4 G, thinking that should last at least for a while because I use every day.  In fact, I needed only when I had disorders of sleep during the night;  I probably used it once every two weeks or more.  I used my cell phone to the device, had no problems until now.

  You can also try a reset by pressing and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds. Release it and then turn it on normally and see how it behaves.

  By your description of the message "dangerously low" you get then plug it into your computer, which tells me that you use MTP mode on the player (or default automatic default, MTP). MTP mode can be pretty weird; better to use MSC mode unless you have need to PSG for "protected" content or DRM files such as Rhapsody or audio in your library or Audible books. The small "crirically" message is a bug in Windows 7 (using MTP mode) that Microsoft did not consider important enough to fix.

• Half of the songs deleted but free space not available!

  I've had my e260 for about a year now. Recently, we have day of dial-up internet cable, so the opening of an older version of Windows Media Player, it is upgradded automatically to WMP10.   Much, as our (U.S.) Government, looks like you have some issues of corruption.

  Try to run ChkDsk. If this doesn't solve all your problems, you need to format (erase all content) and re - charge the player. I hope you have your files backed up.

  And when the WMP improved itself (you don't like how she does this without you ask first?), it probably also set to "automatically Sync". You must pick up this option in the Tools menu and re - configure it for «Manuel Sync» This way you have at least a control over it.

  The "rocket" is not a very good resizing algorithm.  You tend to get much better results if you resize the art yourself.  I resize everthing to 120 x 120 (which is the size of the full display of cover art) and it's so much better when I let the art resize more great rocket, itself.

• Windows Media Player only recognizes the song titles when they are imported from itunes, imported in the form of wav files.

  Hi, I imported/ripped music in form of wav files using WMP first and imported into itunes so that I can sync w / my ipod but itunes recognized only the first words of the music info (generally the number of song, title, ect). ITunes would allow me to change the info. So I decided to import my 7 000 more songs again using itunes, in the hope of finding the songs via watched folders to WMP. Well, that was the case, but he only identified the song number and the title. Now, I have a long list of other/unknown.

  I can get information in WMP via "Find album information", one song at a time, but that would take forever. I imported 318 songs to date. I use wav files to maintain the quality of the sound.  Can someone tell me an easier way?

  Just brought portable 9343 and facing same issue on the new installed Windows 10 Insider Preview. His helmet is low compared to my other devices (laptop HP, Tablet Google Nexus 7). Bass is VERY thin... Looks like a cheap helmet.

  Can't say about the sound in Windows 8.1 (out of the box), because I wasn't listening sound on preinstalled system.

  I spent about 5 hours to solve this problem and found a possible workaround. Try it, maybe it will work for you also.

  1. official audio driver download: URL

  2. extract this file to a folder. Install the drivers, reboot the system. After installation delete extracted folder.

  3. find the "Intel (r) Smart Sound Technology (Intel (r) OSH)" Device Manager system devices.

  

  4. click on 'Update Driver' on the driver tab.

  

  5. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".

  6. in the next screen, click on "Let Me pick from a list of devices on my computer.

  7. click the 'Have disk' button and navigate to the folder extracted in step 2.

  8 select the file 'IntcADSPDELL.ini '. Click on open, OK.

  That's all.

  After this step, I have same sound as on my other devices. Without * MaxxAudio improvements.

• I don't know how to change the size and quality of the text on the screen on Windows 7

  I just installed a new Windows 7 but I don't know how to change the size and quality of the text on the screen.  I tried all the things normal, resolution, size of icons, dpi etc but nothing gives me what I want.  The text in clear 'wonderful' thing is just terrible.  When I go through the 4 steps I see no text boxes which make the text nothing better.  All options are terrible, so the result on screen is too terrible.  When I do any huge I do not get a full screen of things - view the Start button disappears or I did not closing small cross at the top - of the suggestions to inprove the situation?  I must mention that my screen/monitor is 2006 - I need to buy a new one?  How much is this Windows 7 is going to cost me, or maybe I should go back to XP!

  I sincerely thank all you smart "technicians" for all the answers you always gave myself and all others who ask questions.  I'm not too smart with all this new technology as I fell into it very late.  I am now in my 60s and only started using a pc when I was over 50 years so...  In any case, I asked a question about the size of screen resolution and text and received much good advice from all that you guys.  I had recently changed in XP to Windows 7.  However, the bit of advice that I was given in 'Cyberking' here at the Portugal had set the resolution of the screen, the advanced settings, 75 to 60 Hertz Monitor tab.  Very basic, and the first question asked the technician (Lady) was "what size is your screen?  Naturally as a smaller screen that any 'techno' would be considered dead aid, solving the problem was simple and straightforward without me having to stretch my knowledge and my skills by downloading all programes weird (to me) or do the funny stuff in the bios or something else.  I send this comment to you for you to realize that the simple solution is not always bad and maybe we should go for the easiest first and then work up to the more difficult ones.

  Just for you all to see - now my screen resolution is perfect, the text on the screen is clear and legible without difficulty, even though the size of text and icon is small.  Clarity is all!

  I am in a project data migration from SQL Server for the Oracle database. But my question isn't running without the control of the quality of the data.
  
  My procedures to move data is: a) extract data in a flat file of SQLserver via an interface graphic tool) b ftp to UNIX c) sqlldr to Oracle temp tables d) copy data from temp tables for the fact tables.
  
  My point is to check the SQL Server log file and the file of log sqlldr, if no error in them and the match of counties line in SQL Server and Oracle, then we can say a, b, c are successful.
  
  And d a third party stored procedure, we can trust his straightness. I don't see any place where the error may occur.
  
  But the QA team think that we do a check over at least two: 1. compare some lines 2 column-by-column. the sum of the numeric columns in order to compare the results.
  
  Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to check the quality of the data in your migration projects, please?

  Without wishing to repeat what has already been said by Kim and Frank that this is exactly the kind of thing you need controls autour.

  1. SQL Server export to a CSV file

  Potential of loose accuracy in data types, such as numbers, dates, timestamps, or character sets (unicode, utf, etc.)

  2 pass from windows to unix

  Immediately, there are differences in end of LIFE characters
  Potential differences in character sets
  Potential problems with incomplete ftp of files

  3 CSV into temporary tables with SQL Loader

  Potential of loose accuracy in data types, such as numbers, dates, timestamps, or character sets (unicode, utf, etc.)
  Potentail for control files do not catering for special characters

  4 copy temporary tables to fact tables

  May have bad column mappings
  Potential of loose accuracy in data types, such as numbers, dates, timestamps, or character sets (unicode, utf, etc.)

  And I don't know there are a lot of other things that could go wrong at any time. You must answer not only to the things wrong in the sense of disaster or disk falls into failure, network failure, precision of the lost information, but also consider that it might be obscure bug in one of the technologies that you are handling. They are not things you can predict directly, but you should have check in place to make sure you know if something went wrong - however subtle.
