Question 16 Flash Player 11.0.1

We have updated our users of Reader 11.0.1 and Flash player 16. Now, when users open interactive PDFs with flash videos integrated through Reader, by clicking on the guests of videos the message that Flash player is required more. If I remove Flash Player 16 and install flash player 13 it works fine. We also encountered a similar problem with articulate Studio recently requiring an update to detect flash 16. The PDF itself was created with Indesign CS6.

Our default installation has been only for IE Active X, once we installed the Plugin it works now

    Hello

The organization I work for has a problem with Flash Player since the 242 iteration update.

Due to the nature of what we do, I can't post the details of the problem on a community forum and trying to get support in other ways within Adobe has been in vain.

Please can someone direct me to how can I get support for an unlisted number with our Flash software-based.

  • Question about Flash PLayer updates

    Hello

I run a network of very small size for my office and recently, I noticed that the flash players that are installed on end user machines are not up-to-date. I think it's because they don't have local administrative privileges on their computers. I don't want to give them just local administrator rights update the flash player, so I wonder if there is an easier way to manage the updates that must be installed on the flash drives.

Our network consists of some Windows Server 2003 with Windows XP isntalled on all the client machines.

    Thanks in advance.

The 'official' way to do under the free Flash Player Distribution License:

Which will give you an EXE, you can simply paste on each machine (or a MSI file).

  • Pepper Flash Player in Chrome crashes on RTMP NetConnection

    Hello everyone.

We have already presented the question pepper Flash Player with here the bug database (Bug #4010090 - Flash Player in Chrome on RTMP NetConnection tagline) but just wanted to get a discussion going and possibly get Adobe (smaily :-) to contact Google and let them know that their recent updates have a serious bug.)

In short we have problems with flash PPAPI in the Chrome browser (pepper).  If you reboot your system with the last Flash of pepper and Chrome and go directly as a site that requires a NetConnection RTMP you will find that no connection is possible on all ports.  We have tested this over and over again and came to the conclusion, that it is a newly introduced bug.  Our lack of traffic too our services confirms him as well, that's why we reached out to Adobe and the developer community.

    A perfect test is:

    http://www.therealtimeweb.com/index.cfm/2004/10/2/FMS-port-tester?CFID=1291705 & CFTOKEN = 484 14760

You will notice that no port connection cannot be made and if you try to access anywhere else Flash Player will crash.

Suggestions or recommendations (in part using another browser) would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello.

We determined that this issue is the result of the Avast Antivirus program. There seems to be a problem with all versions of Avast, even the free version with no firewall.

We will advise Avast of this issue. We recommend that the community of developers of chrome inform Avast as well.

If I apply the most recent existing Flash Player (APSB15-02) update to the os machine Strip will only cover everything has previously disclosed vulnerabilities?

Is it the same for updates distributed SCUP? Can someone guide me to documentation available? If I publish the latest patch by SCUP will be my protected systems as if I would download it manually?

    Thank you in advance!

Yes, it includes SCUP distribution as well.

  • Flash Player on several PC problem

    Hello

I am a local COMPUTER administrator and have a problem where four users keep having the same problem. What they say, is that after a Windows Update and restart their Flash Player stops working. Uninstall and reinstall Flash Player solves the problem, but they are not admins of their machines and if this is not possible. Windows updates are controlled by policy group here, and I have no way to change that either.

However, going on what users have said that I'm not quite sure that the updates of Windows is the question. I have a PC users to test today and my last test did not produce the same result as what users say (more than step below).

Reading some of the threads I think I have checked most of the solutions but please review what I've done and propose something that I may have missed.

    OS - WinXP SP3

    Browser - IE8 32 bit

    • Visit www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/? -flash animation does not appear but it does not display version information (10.2.153.1)
    • Is the active Shockwave Flash object module: Yes
    • Disable all other addons
    • The Internet - set to medium, Security Zone also reset the browser settings
    • Disable the AV software and popup
    • Java Update
    • Killbit change reg - entry was there, but deleting it made no difference
    • Installed Firefox and flash player works (again to see if it will be affected by the same good question)
    • Flash Player file details in the image below

Therefore, as already mentioned my last step was to remove the latest Windows updates. There were two of them apply the previous night (KB2511455 & KB2508429). I uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player (now at version 10.2.159.1), checked it worked and updates of Windows Basic. Rebooted but Flash Player still works. So I'm not sure what the cause of the problem; I'm waiting for it to happen again, but I hope that a solution will have been found by then.

If you need me to test something else, there are other machines that have the problem.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Brad

Here are the details of the installed Flash files...

    adobe flash file details.JPG

Hi, well although you went thru a little trying to solve this problem. I agree that it has nothing to do with the updates of Windows. I did not have any question on one of my PC and haven't read anything nets.

What I see in the screenshot, is that the 'Flash10o.ocx' does not get uninstalled. It is the version of Flash Player 10.2.153.1.

The other files are correct with the 10.2.159.1.

When the uninstall program was run that this file should be removed. You can go and remove it manually. Just be sure that you have nothing running in the system tray that uses Flash. Messaging services instant need disabled/quit/exit(whatever term is used). Then close all browser windows and then right-click on the Flash10o.ocx and delete it. I would then reboot.

    Hope that solves the problem.

  • Question how enable or disable an application such as Adobe Flash Player or a Norton Toolbar?

    Question

How to enable or disable an application such as Adobe Flash Player or a Norton Toolbar?

    Hello

Click the IE 9 gear icon in the upper right of the window and choose "Manage Add-ons." Select the toolbar and Extensions in the left pane, under Add-on Types, and scroll down to the entry for the Adobe flash player and the Norton toolbar. Choose one of these, then click Disable in the lower right.
and the next time you start IE, a notice will appear at the bottom of the window to inform you that the particular plug-in is ready for use. Click on the button "do not allow".
    Thank you.
  • Adobe Flash Player and the Plug in question.

My computer has 12 ActiveX Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Flash Player Plugin from 15. Why have I not these two. They are different, and what do I need to update? I have a computer with Windows 7 64 bit. I couldn't ever find this page again then can you send me an email to advise if someone answered my question if you please, with a link to the answer. My email is [email protected].  Thank you very much for your help.

The Flash Player ActiveX is the add-on for Internet Explorer.

The Flash Player Plugin is for other browsers like Firefox.

For some reason any Adobe back as two different installers, so you will need to run two installation programs for updating Flash Player for later.  You can download the 15.0.0.223 from

  • A question of both parties about Flash player and Firefox plugin.

Things have gotten worse. I'm unable to reset Firefox because at the time when I go to tools > (etc.) reset Firefox, it crashes.

None of the Flash help I received from Adobe and Mozilla is useful.

Finally, I uninstalled Firefox completely and on a whim, thought I'd install Seamonkey. She runs... But will not play ANY Flash. The plug in case of accident, as soon as I try to access any Flash website.

I use Chrome without difficulty. I can use IE without difficulty. So, guess what? Firefox is out until someone can fix the problem. I am convinced that Firefox can't handle any software if Macromedia, Adobe, Shockwave Flash or any other part of it. This is totally unacceptable.

The way I see it, I need to go back to an older version of Firefox AND Flash player. Once I can do I think they work together because none of this happened until the most recent version has been installed.

Where can I find all the old versions of Firefox? And I will have difficulties in their installation.

Like I said before, I'm a long-time Firefox fan. It comes, he tries my patience just to make it work again when you people do an upgrade. The problem involves ALWAYS Flash form any.

  • Question about the Flash Player installer

I downloaded the installer from Adobe Flash Player on my Mac - OS Mavericks.  The installer does not accept my password to install the update.  Gives the message "password changed" I went to Adobe and changed my password, but the installer still does not accept the password or start the installation.

    Hi John,.

The required password is not your AdobeID password.  It's the password of your computer, allowing you to connect to your account.  Please see what userid & password I need to install Flash Player? for more information.
