Question about a shared library

Hi, I added a jar of MW_HOME/modules as a shared library in Window-> Preferences-> shared library in my EPCO and of course the app compiles fine. But it's my own setting of eclipse IDE. I don't understand how I can get this setting to my teammate. and how this parameter will be deployed to another environment. where he is saved? Thank you!

The WLS includes several version of log4j and xercesImpl, once solve you the version the jars will appear in the Project Explorer. Try the following solution:

-In the Project Explorer, WebLogic libraries system | Properties,

Select com.bea.core.apache.log4j module and provide the range of the version (Ex: strategy: Beach to specify Version, Version range: 1.2.13)

Select com.bea.core.apache.xercesImpl, and then provide the version range (Ex: strategy: specify version Beach, Version: 2.8.1)

NOTE: The Optional Source location field is used to associate the module with source code jar.

  • Question about J2EE shared library

    Hello
    I want to ask the next question, which might sound silly:

    I have a couple of classes to share or deploy as a war file or a jar file.

    (1) meaning by reference to a web application as a library component? Can I speak to classes in the war file or the inside jsp page? or can I only use it in another application as a separate web application company?

    (2) if I can't return the classes within the war file: so I have to wrap it in a jar file. But the problem is that these classes depend on adf and portlet libraries (adf.oracle.domain, oracle.webcenter.skin... who are ear files, the pot can refer to?). So, how do around this problem?

    Thanks for your help

    You can do... However, I'd rather do would first develop libraries shared in a separate project, package and deploy as ADF Lib and then use this lib in my application. Of course, at the end of the application has togo in .ear file. That shared libraries in a way are kept away from the logic of effective enforcement and will be very useful for the upgrade and easy maintenance.

  • Question about the music library to iCloud (music Apple) and iTunes on mac

    Download I m just of my iTunes in the music library of iCloud library. Since I was afraid that my library of 40000 + titles could get corrupted or metadata could be changed by apple, I downloaded the files from a 'second' machine (macbook) - just to be on the safe side and keep my iTunes library local main on my iMac intact by iCloud (for the moment).

    Now everything seems fine with iCloud music library, but after all the titles/songs are in iCloud now, what happens if I disable the library iCloud music on the 'second' machine and Activate the library iCloud music on my main machine (iMac), which has the same local as my second machine iTunes library? (= the same local iTunes library, which has been already downloaded?)

    ICloud/iTunes will recognize that all songs/files are already uploaded to the music library iCloud and doe 'nothing', or download will process all over again and will lead to 'double' all the files/songs in iCloud?

    The same question arises if we restore iTunes library local on a mac from a backup + switches on iCloud music library a second time... will be iTunes + icloud music library download all the files again or not?

    Unless something is wrong, it should recognize and not duplicate.

  • Question about recommended Lightroom library and configuration of the synchronization

    I move to a Windows workstation for my main machine from my Mac. I install Lightroom on it as my main photo management software. My library is currently stored in iCloud library on my Mac, and it syncs with my iPhone and iPad in iCloud. What would be the best solution to make my pictures my Windows workstation PC and sync them with my iOS devices? Should I leave them in iCloud photo library, synchronize with my PC, and then catalog them in Lightroom, or should I move them to iCloud library directly imported and stored in Lightroom and then synchronize Lightroom with my iOS devices? Can Lightroom for iOS also copy photos since iOS Photos and in the case I need to use the iOS library selector in other applications? Thank you!

    Hi mallardnathan,

    In order to use Lightroom on the Windows Machine without any problem, we suggest to remove your iCloud photo library images and move it completely on windows, where machine, you can add your images in Lightroom.

    Whether you plan to use Lightroom as your main Photo management software, you should be aware of what Lightroom does not store your images in it like your other software.

    You can synchronize your images from your desktop to the iOS device to make changes, you can add images from the photo library of iOS and synchronize on the Lightroom on your desktop.

    It will be useful.

  • A very basic question about the shared storage

    To implement GR 11, 2 in Sun SPARC 5.10, our sys admins have allocated block devices in the shared storage and they sent us a letter mentioning the disks. This is what looks like their mail

    Storage attached with the Node1
    /dev/rdsk/c4ikdzs3
    /dev/rdsk/c4ikdzs4
    .
    .
    Storage attached to Node2
    /dev/rdsk/c5ikdzj2
    /dev/rdsk/c5ikdzj5
    .
    .
    When I connect with the Node1: / dev/rdsk, I see
    /dev/rdsk/c4ikdzs3
    /dev/rdsk/c4ikdzs4

    .
    as they have said. Same for Node2

    But all raw devices mentioned above should be visible at/dev/rdsk of nodes. Right? Isn't that whole point of CARS; Shared storage ?

    resistanceIsFruitful wrote:

    Not exactly, if you are referring to the names of devices...

    Each core will make a discovery to support when starting. When dealing with the LUN through one HBA (or similar), there is absolutely no guarantee that the nuclei will detect the LUNS in the same order and assign the same scsi device names to them. A LUN can be called device-foo-1 on a single server and device-foo-21 on another.

    In addition, several HBAs will be dual port and dual fiber running channels. So, not only is the same logic unit seen as a scsi device, different number of each core but you can see more than once. Device-foo-1 and device-foo-33 may be the same physical LUN on server 1.

    To solve this logical device name is required. This will be the name of the same device on all servers - and that it will support multiple paths of I/O to the LUN in turn seamlessly. This is done by looking at the unique signature of the SCSI - called WWID or World Wide nameof the software "special driver. With this unique signature, s/w only recognizes a specific LUN, regardless of what server s/w runs on.

    This s/w is called Multipath on Linux, EMC Powerpath and so on. I expect that you will have something similar on your servers.

    Scsi device that is mapped by the kernel to the unit number logic is not used. In the case of multipath , for example, use the + / dev/mpath/mpath+ devices. In the case of Powerpath, these will be + / dev/emcpower+ devices.

    What are the names of device you will use to 11g Grid Infrastructure and Oracle ASM and RAC installation and configuration of shared storage.

  • question about file sharing users

    Hello

    in the properties of each folder on the tab in the group or user names box, there is a user named SYSTEM name is that?

    Thank you

    In the properties of each folder on the tab in the group or user names box, there is a user named SYSTEM name is that?

    Why we cannot change the permissions for this?

    The SYSTEM is just what it sounds like: the SYSTEM itself needs access to files and folders to make things like backups, etc..

    The system account is used by the operating system and services running under Windows. There are many services and processes within Windows that need the ability to log internally (for example during a Windows installation). The system account has been designed for that purpose; It is an internal account, does not appear in the User Manager, could not be added to all groups and may not have the user rights assigned. However, the system account is displayed on an NTFS volume in file manager in the part of the permissions from the Security menu. By default, the system account is granted full control over all the files on an NTFS volume. Here, the system account has the same functional privileges as the administrator account.

    NOTE: Granting permissions to file for the Administrators group or the other account does not implicitly give permission to the system account. Permissions of the system account can be removed from a file, but it is not recommended.

    He was always around (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7...) - are only notice you in Windows 8?

    When it comes to change permissions - you can not?

  • WMP Shared Library work

    I searched for a few days now and I can't find an answer to a question I have about Windows Media Player and work for music in a shared library, so I will try to explain here in the hope that someone might be able to help.

    There are two involved PC - one, machine 'A' is currently running Windows XP Pro and currently hosts all of my photos, video, music, etc. Machine 'B' runs Windows Vista Edition full and is generally used to hear or see the media of the machine.

    After a few questions of works of art in general I decied to try to pin down exactly what was going on.

    I erased the data files WMP on both machines and made sure there is no folders added to automatic records / default for both the libraries began as empty (initially find only 'local' music that comes with Windows itself).  Also, two WMP is set to not download any information from the internet media. Fine so far.

    On computer A, I created a test folder and put it in a folder with the tracks of an album and another folder with a few individual pieces of music. I also created an easily identifiable artwork for the album and for some of the individual tracks and made sure this work has been the unique work stored in the relevant music files ID3 tags.  I have also made sure there is no WMP work files in this folder to test (so not of Folder.jpg, AlbumArtSmall.jpg or AlbumArt_ {GUID} .jpg).

    I started up WMP again on computer A, and added this test folder to the library.  WMP correctly analysed and displayed a few items, he created the usual mess of it is work of course, files but it used * my * work from the ID3 tags.  Once again, great so far.  I put it to share its library.

    On computer B, I asked "look for other media share" and he immediately found the library shared by a machine.  However, if I look at the items in the shared library, I see the content of my file test, but with different illustrations - the art of actual coverage of the relevant albums.

    My first assumption was that, even if the machine B has been fixed to not download anything on the internet recovering always the album artwork for the items in the shared library.  To test this, I have blocked access to internet on my router and again allowed out WMP files on computer B.  When he again accesses the library shared on computer A, it immediately displays the work of 'bad' again - but he could not have received this Web this time, if he get all this?

    I assume that the work is cached somewhere and picked up images of a previous connection to my comprehensive library on the computer B the machine, but I don't want to.  I want to use the work in the files of current music, like WMP on machine made.

    I'm a bit puzzled, because I don't even know if machine B becomes the ('bad') work from somewhere in itself, or if it comes from the machine.  I can't imagine that it's from a machine - why WMP on this machine would use the 'proper' work itself but then give another machine a copy cached in the work of 'bad '.  So presumably, these images come from somewhere on computer B, or is there another explanation?

    Sorry that took so long to explain, I can't believe Microsoft had done this so complicated.

    Anyone can shed some light on this?

    Thank you very much

    Update:

    After a better looking PC in question, I could have answered my own question, I thought I would add here in case this is useful to someone else...

    It seems that WMP (and Media Center) on the Vista machine at least keep several copies of the updated album art cache in multiple places and using different format of file names - that's why the failure of my first attempt to locate them.

    So after having erased the following folders:

    %LocalAppData%/Microsoft/eHome/art cache

    Cache drive/Art %LocalAppData%/Microsoft/Media/LocalMLS

    %LocalAppData%/Microsoft/Media Player/MCH/Albums

    Both Windows Media Player and Media Center on my Vista machines, reloaded the correct album artwork - I don't know if they use the ID3 tags on music files or work remote library files, but as they were all based on my work now, I don't actually mind.

    Mike

    We are all users here give advice... I'm not surprised, that we sometimes give contradictory recommendations. Even I give advice that conflict if my knowledge of the situation is defective or still in development.

    Sometimes, it's

    You can do this... but it is risky and unsupported.

    A user may have had no problem and so promotes using say the TC for iphoto or photos to store the library... and recommend using it this way based on their experience. That is to say the statistical evidence of a user, they promote what apple says NOT to do. If it works for me it should work for you too... and Apple is so fake.

    Now we have to dig very deep to find Apple say do not STORE a LIVE ON the LIBRARY NETWORK DRIVE.

    In reference to iphoto they specify that you could search for a month to find statements.

    And here's one for iphoto... I have several of them.

    iPhoto: sharing libraries among multiple users - Apple Support

    Let me give you because it is so important.

    It is recommended to store your iPhoto on a locally mounted hard disk library. Store your iPhoto on a sharing library network can lead to poor performance, data corruption or data loss.

    But look at the posts in the section photos or iphoto by Terence Devlin... He's an expert there.

    iPhoto doesn't remember the location of the library (NAS album)

    What I don't have is the evidence for the photos. Apple changed the App enough that the tips of old is no longer relevant?

    Frankly I doubt they have simply not a statement any where... at least one I can find that says as clearly as above for iphoto do not. So I'm going to turn on the caution here.

    Given that the fundamental problem of the networks, is that you open a library, start working on a photo, and then the network fails, (very likely in the case of wireless connections)... the library is left in a State where he has a picture in the middle of editing. But there is no mechanism to close the file and save it. It corrupts not simply the file but the library.

    I wish they made their intentions clearer to people. Sometimes, it makes no sense.

    * Beginning of speculation.

    IE if use you iCloud, why is - this different to the use of your own network storage space. Why apple does not do these extensions available in their network with server operating system or router? None of these answers are available to us... but clearly, Apple now wants to be able to use iCloud. They took a lot of effort to ensure that all devices will connect via iCloud and NOT on a local server. Clearly, Apple is pitching for a future cloud. That's why no SIN... That's why no media or other extensions in the TC. end speculation *.

    She has a MacBook Pro of the retina, end of 2013 and I update to the latest OS X and Photos. She has a time Machine 3 TB who is also his router and wifi. I don't know which model specifically. It is about two years old. She takes pictures with his iPhone and fails to download on his laptop due to the lack of storage.

    She can not download them directly on the TC either. You still have to work via iCloud or Mac.

    So, I would say... be sensitive. Photos are now easily lost by simple corruption of a file or removal or accidental loss or theft or fire, etc..

    1 cloud makes sense... If you have sufficient bandwidth to use it.

    2. for the majority of the world without a bandwidth adequate Internet... always plan for the worst. What happens if the TC library is corrupted. (Identical to the previous advice of iphoto library). Well, you need backups. How do you do that? And here's where the trouble begins. The TC is not designed as a NAS... It has BUILT in BACKUP. Any NAS is designed to automatically save its files on a USB key. Transport CANADA is a target for Time Machine. But Time Machine backup network drives impossible. If problem... you need a new running on the Mac backup software. for example Carbon Copy Cloner can do.

    Following problem... where are you go to too many backup... A USB attached to the TC... It is possible... Problem. It is not reliable. Is not fast. If you use wireless... you will discover the belly of the Sarlacc pit of pain and suffering where you are slowly digested over 1000years... That is to say, is how long this backup will seem to take. OK, so accelerate you backup by hanging a USB on the Mac... significant improvement that made... but if hang... now we are at the beginning.

    You have a hard drive plugged into the Mac Time Machine could save TB... Why not put the PHOTO library here. It's a fast, reliable and efficient way to run the library... So, we went full circle.

    That does help at all.

  • tables as input for the shared library function

    I played with the call of LV VI using matlab.

    So I built a simple VI which returns an integer as input and multiply it by 10, I then put in a shared library and named it MATLAB - well.

    Now, I tried to do the same thing with a table - I want to send a picture to the VI and multiplied it by 10, but when I build the .h file, it seems that the function expects get table of entry AND exit of table as inputs.

    so, how I can build a shared library VI who gets an array (of a constant size if this is important) and multiply it by 10?

    Thank you!

    A function in a DLL can only return a scalar value, not a table, no matter what languages are used. To return an array, instead calling it allocates the array pass a reference to the DLL and then after the function called the referenced table table contains the new data. This is why there are two parameters - the input array (actually a pointer to it) and a pointer (reference) to the output array. You must change your code in MATLAB, there is nothing you can do about it in LabVIEW. EDIT: Also note that it allows to re-use of the input as an output table, optionally passing a reference only to the table of entry and then by changing that. You can do it in LabVIEW by configuring the setting table as input and output.

  • When you call a function in a shared library, are copied locally settings?

    I have a shared library with a function which the header is:

    void __cdecl nextevent (double entry [], int32_t len);

    When it is called it sends the values in [entry] to the input control:

    This vi is compiled into a DLL that uses the header above.

    Now, my question is: which of these operations is good:

    1. the input control is a reference to the entry in array [], no value is copied.

    2. the values of the Input [] array are copied into the input control, the local copy is used by the vi, then the values of the local copy is deleted/trimmed.

    It seems reasonable that 1 is good, but I can't be sure, and I see no way to check.

    For this particular case, option 2 is valid. The reason is that the tables of LabVIEW are not just pointers to a memory location but the handles. And there is no legal way to create valid LabVIEW handles of a runtime C allocated memory pointer. If LabVIEW transforms the table pointer entering a handle which is basically nothing else that allocate the handle with a sufficient size to contain all the data in the table and then copy the data from the table pointer in this handle. After the call, the handle is properly released.

  • Get a precise timing in a C++ shared library in VxWorks

    Hello world

    I am developing a shared library for VxWorks for my compactRio access a «no massive strorage» usb device

    I work with gcc (see develop shared libraries for the cRIO-901 x and other targets of VxWorks for more details).

    The usb part works fine, but I now have to obtain a precise timing in one c++ shared library functions. I tried the functions clockLib (e.g. clock_gettime () - see page 8 of the http://www-ad.fnal.gov/controls/micro_p/manuals/vxworks_application_api_reference_6.6.pdf for more details), but they seem to have a resolution of 1 ms, which is not enough for me.

    There is a clock source faster on the cRio (at least 1 Mhz, one used for timed loops) but I do not know if such a source could be used in a shared library. If so, anyone knows what are the functions of call?

    Thank you very much

    Martin

    OK, I thought about it.  These functions are exported as C functions, so you should use extern 'C' instead of extern just by itself, as I did originally.  Once I did, I was able to compile the following code in its own. File AND it works fine:

    #include
    extern 'C' unsigned long niTimestamp32();

    extern 'C' Sub TimeTest()
    {
    unsigned long ts = niTimestamp32();
    printf ("niTimestamp32 () = 0x%08X\n", ts ");
    }

    Good luck and let me know if you have any problems and more.

  • Question about support for LabVIEW DLLS and Unicode

    Hello

    I have a question about LabVIEW and DLL functions calls.

    I use a DLL (sorry, I can't share it) that was written in C. It was written to support Unicode and non-Unicode function calls.

    The Unicode function is valid, then FunctionNameW is called if FunctionNameA is called.

    I am building a few VI to access the library. I have the regular functions of FunctionNameA work.

    My question is, does LabVIEW support versions of function FunctionNameW Unicode, and if so is it necessary Although LabVIEW is already working with the standard function call?

    Am I being redundant or what should I build in Unicode support?

    The first time I tried to test the Unicode functions, I had an error, and I guess this is a system setting.

    Thank you for your time in advance.

    DB_IQ wrote:

    I don't think I have TO implement the Unicode, but I want if I can.

    For what I do, I think almost it is not serious. But I wanted to know if it could be used.

    The short answer is "Yes, you can do it."  However, it may open a new Pandora's box.  If you're not careful, problems and complications that can still spread to other projects that are not using Unicode!  It is better not to summon this monster unless there is absolutely no other way to do the job.
