Question about blu ray disc player update for Satellite C850-B124
My Toshiba Tempro is telling me that I have an update for the blu ray disc drive, so I opened it and it said s a package of 32-bit but my Windows 7 is 64-bit, so I'm confused.
Should I download and install? Or I'll just ignore it? I m using Toshiba Satellite C850-B124.
Hope that the guys answer my question
According to specification for laptop, your laptop is not Blu Ray optical disc player. It has the DVD Super Multi drive (Double Layer). You can ignore this message.

Step 1: Please make all underneath the same if you've done it before as it's often the total of the process which
solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Qosmio-F750-11U: Blu - ray disc player no longer works
My Blu - ray player stopped working a few months previously, even if it still plays DVD.
TEMPro told me that there is a new driver, so I tried to install that:
Support1. Toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/bluraydp-20130117155646.zipI unzipped and ran the .exe. InstallShield says ' build Version of the source is not build target.
that looks more like something the programmers must have correced instead of
that we poor users could see.Has anyone else you have the same problem?
Preferably with solution ;-)TIA & best wishes
Hello
The package to install is only an update / patch.
This package requires the installed Blu - ray TOSHIBA disk drive software.
TOSHIBA Blu - ray disc player software is installed on your system? The exe file is to be found in:
TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Blu - ray Disc Player\SMIPlayer.exeIf its not available or if the version does not match, the installation of the patch fails.

Where can I download the software of Toshiba Blu - ray disc player to win 8.1?
Hello
I installed my Toshiba P70-A-104 completely new with Win 8.1. The company. The software Toshiba Blu-ray disc player isn't anymroe availabe which was available on the original installation of Win 8.
Anyone know where I can download this software?
Hello
I don't know why this utility is not listed on the page of the Toshiba UE driver but I found the reading software Blu - ray Toshiba on the Toshiba driver page Australian Windoiws 8.1:
http://support.Toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows81/drivers/PSPLP_Up_au.htmThe software is released for Satellite P70 - A series
But these utilities are not released for specific cell phone model. The only restriction is the availability of the disc Blu - ray (optical disc) drive
In case your laptop supports the Blu - ray disc player, this software might be installed on your device. -
TOSHIBA Blu - ray disc player is not compatible with USB speakers
I have a P850, using speakers USB Z305 Logitch. The speakers work fine with all other multimedia software like WMP, iTunes, or MPC, but not with the TOSHIBA Blu - ray player. Toshiba program won't work or will crash if the speakers are plugged. Someone knows how to fix this?
Thank youThis Logitech speakers are peripheral plug n play which uses the standard driver and are installed like any other plug-and-play device. I put t have, but I have seen the interesting film on YouTube about this.
To be honest I don t understand why it doesn't work with the Blu - ray TOSHIBA player. I think you're the first person who reported thereon.
Problem is that Toshiba doesn't support third party software or equipment is not easy to find the solution for this.I really hope that there are users who have fixed or can offer a very valuable tip for this rather strange question.

Question about warranty 2 years extension updated by Satellite A200-1Mes
Hello
I was registered on the www.toshiba-europe.com/registration Web site. In the Extension of warranty for free, book was written when I register my extended warranty from 1 year to 2 years limited international warranty. When I look at the site http://www.toshiba-tro.de/unitdetails my warranty work is always 365 days and guarantee spare parts is 365 days. Why?
This is right. When you sign the notebook on the driver Toshiba page then the warranty will extend to 2 years.
You may need to simply wait a day until that data has been updated. If the guarantee will always show the same State trying to update once again!

Question about the universal power adapter car for Satellite U500
There are different types of adapter car 12 volt on the market with different powers - that's good, but some "automatically select the output voltage.
These units have a reputation of reliability or security for the laptop or are they to be avoided?Hello
The problem is that in most cases these s universal adapter takes care of different intensity values
You can change only the value of the Volt, but not the ampere ampere would change automatically and depends on the selected Volt.I would not recommend these universal adapters because the laptop needs some value ampere
I recommend buying an adapter that is designed for this laptop to avoid some hardware problemsGet in touch with the local ASP to get such part

Satellite P855-307 is not play the latest Blu - ray discs
The Toshiba Blu - ray disc player is is more grateful or play the Hollywood movie Blu - ray discs.
The recent Hollywood film set of Blu - ray discs in both my Pioneer HDD-Recorder/Blu-ray player and play on my PS3, it is why blu - ray discs are fine.
Drive Blu - ray on the satellite p855 works so I can play Blu - ray movies non-Hollywood on my Satellite P855 (e.g. "in the shadow of the Moon") as well.
This also indicates that the Toshiba Blu - ray disc player software can work, so something else is preventing the operation.
BIOS 6.80 VICTORY
Version of Toshiba - 1.05.207 Blu - ray disc player.
Is Blu - ray zone B and 5 changes remain (never has been changed). There is no firmware update on the support site of Toshiba for the BD - ROM Pioneer BDC - TD04S.
Satellite P855-307 runs the original OS (Win 7 HP 64-bit).Read the Readme to Toshiba Blu - ray disc player mentions AACS key renewal, although I don't see any way mentioned anywhere by which's made it.
Corel WinDVD is of no assistance as a player, as well as the trial version of WinDVD 11 recognizes only Intel HD4000 graphics.
Trial version of CyberLink PowerDVD can't read Blu - ray Disc movie Hollywood but will play non-Hollywood films such as "In the Shadow of the Moon".
It seems you have a problem to play only some specific BD discs.
I m not quite sure that your problem, but from my point of view it may be a problem of firmware of BD player. Unfortunately, Toshiba driver page does not only updates the firmware for the BD drive so will not be able to try a firmware update.
I put t think there is a problem with the playback software (Toshiba Blu - ray disc player) because it seems that you are already using the last available Toshiba Blu - ray Disc version 1.0.5.207 player. If the software is already up-to-date.
However, the freeware VLC player software/tools are supported BD disks too and play almost all formats and file standards.
Recommend you test just to see if the problem still occurs even by using such usefulness of these tools. -
CD/DVD/Blu Ray, failing to detect/read blu ray discs
Hello community of Sony
This is my first post, so please be patient with me
I have a Sony vaio laptop, the model name is VPCEG16FM
I've already restored to factory settings some days and everything is up-to-date and running smoothly. Except that... the Blu Ray disc player? DVD/CD works fine, but when I insert a Blu Ray disc, he jumps like two or three times and is unable to read. When I first bought this laptop of course all worked well but it's just darn blu - ray disc player and listen the * out of me. Some of my solutions was of course, restore to factory setting and a complete update of downloads. Then, after reading a few other blog posts, I've also tried going to the Device Manager and uninstall the cd/dvd drive and then restarting my computer. Reinstall it successfully on its own when restart the laptop but again, only the * blu ray disks are not read. My friend tried, also, what we call the function restore drivers? But it seemed very pointless lol... IM starting to think that the drive is actually just broken but if yes then would be not DVD and CD not work as well? Please Sony community! you are my last hope!
Hi ape_monsta!
I would like to request more information. Is it on all Blu Ray titles? Have you tried to play the songs that works properly in the past?
