Question about connector Bluetooth internal on Tecra 8100?

Hi all.
I have a laptop of 52 - sp pt810e - 13 c. Updated to 512 MB by using 2 toshiba 256 MB pc100 modules purchased on ebay, upgrade to a PIII 850 also obtained in a ebay and upgraded to a larger 40 GB wdc wd400e hard drive, with a lot less noise than 12 GB the original.

Play with my computer, I found an internal connector "bluetooth" next to the inside which belongs to the keyboard.

Why is this? Are there any new Bluetooth module for Toshiba Tecra 8100?

Hello

I guess that this connector is placed on the motherboard, because it is possible to upgrade the Tecra 8100 with an internal Bluetooth module.
I don t find Bluetooth modules compatible but all supported and compatible parts, you can order from the Toshiba service partner in your country.

  • Wireless rookie - question about mesh wireless internal

I was asked to help set up a wireless network for a medical center. We have a lot of time before its opening, then it's time to test. I would like to recommend some sort of redundancy between the AP in this time, it will take about 16 to cover the area. Being a medical institution, if a resuscitation access point fails, better if the client devices connect to another. My question, am I right to say that we need a controller to achieve? I built and installed the wired LAN, so here's my chance to build my skills wireless

    Thank you very much

    Ray

The best way to build redundancy into your wireless infrastructure is to use a concept called "microcells". By installing more APs to the smallest power of radio, you have the luxury to increase the signal strength of nearby access point if it does not. Consider the alternative, which is to install less APs 100% power, but if we fail, you cannot increase the power of APs nearby.

Now, a controller can adjust automatically is close to the levels of power of the APs when it happens, but it can be manipulated manually in a stand-alone environment.

Finally, if you have already installed a wireless to 100% of power infrastructure, you can install redundant APs in a standby mode. AP backup monitors the active PA, and it lights up immediately if the active access point fails. You must usually install these APs right next to those involved.

Regardless of the redundancy used, customers will see a hiccup in service when the AP goes down. This can be avoided, if the new access point roaming must be extremely fast. This will only affect you if you are using time-sensitive applications, and even in this case, it might not be noticed.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

When we install it in silent mode, installation occurs however the Bluetooth does not initialize to the exchanger of information Toshiba Bluetooth is launched!

Is anyway to complete installation without this another step?

You must use the BT-stack of the FSC. I also tried to install an OEM version of the BT-stack from Toshiba, but in this case, there was limited time. So check the item of menu "in context" to get further details.

  • Question about Toshiba Bluetooth Stack & Bluetooth Dongle

I was just assuming that I can use the software Toshiba for a bluetooth dongle? If Yes, how can I make sure Toshiba is used and not XP?

If you use a BT dongle, which came with the BT-stack from Toshiba, then it is no problem at all. If it was delivered with any other BT-stack, then is will very probably work too, but limited time only (30 days). If you install the battery Toshiba BT then the MS stack will be hidden and the Bt-stack from Toshiba is active by default. If you remove the
Toshiba BT-stack then the MS stack becomes active when MS - SP2 is installed.

Internal drives will last longer, then the primary readers because they sleep (the arm gets parked and the tray stops spinning) when they are not accessible after a time. How ever the grease in the bearing dries up from the heat of the laptop, which causes them to fail.

You can connect via USB with an external hard drive caddy. Make sure you order SATA 2.5 inch.

  • Question about the Bios Tecra 8100 2.5

    Hello
I installed the latest version of the Bios on my tecra 8100. My Question is, what is the maximum size of hard drive for these phones? Now I have 13 GB hard drive, but I want to have a bigger. And 512 MB of Ram is the maximum, right (2x256mb)? Can I adjust the size of the videoram?

In my view, the tecra 8100 is a laptop very well.

    Greetings,
    Stephan

    Hi Stephan

You are absolutely right. 512 MB of RAM is max for this pretty portable. If you want to buy more RAM I will suggest you that a PC100 256 MB (PA3051U-1NME). This RAM is tested and working properly with your device.

Sorry, but video RAM is not possible to extend. And now something on the HARD drive. Unfortunately there is no documents where you can find information like this, but I know very well that here should not be a problem with 30 or 40 GB of HARD drive.

I wish you lots of fun with this laptop old but nice.

I Don t understand the question is what a laptop processor. It s the thing that makes your 'computer' computer or think. No matter what.
The speed is set in Mhz, so it depends on the model how Mhz, the processor of your machine has.

The exact clock speed is written on the label on the bottom of your machine. You can also try CPU - Z to determine the exact speed of your processor.

And NO, not possible to overclock the CPU of machines it s.

    Welcome them

  • Question about cloud connectors

We try to create a cloud to Eloqua connector. I read the CloudConnectorSampleGuide. I have a few questions about the expected data models and models of general implementation.

Configuration of the connector of the cloud

    • The CC stores the identification information for each configured CC step Eloquya Eloqua?
      • What are the guidelines for the safe password storage? (I can't store the passwords as dirty one-way-hash that I need the password during execution.  The two-way hash gives an illusion of security but is not better than the plaintext).
    • When the CC is configured, where credentials should take place between the 1st and the 2nd screen? (i.e. as a hidden form field, session cookie cookie/etc.)
    • Eloqua warns the CC when a step is deleted?

    Cloud connector performance

    • What is the average number of steps configured Single that manages the CC?
    • Is it possible for a CC to have 1000 s and unique not configured to query?
    • What are the guidelines for scalability when the connector has to travel 1000 steps configured and survey? The CC requires a worker architecture to manage a large number of configured steps?
    • Are there best practices around the CC recovery hangs
      • For example: CC acquires the State waiting for members and moves to the current State. The CC blocks before the end of the stage. What is the approach suggested for

recovery of the tasks in the current handling during recovery state? (assuming I have multiple instances of CC of the Eloqua poll). Is the connector of cloud supposed to maintain States of WIP to manage recovery correctly?

Dmitry, once again, it is entirely to the developer.  When you add contacts to a stage, they will be processed in batches.  There is no limit to how much you add, and since they are left to step up to that dealt with by the connector, how long they sit depends on how long your connector takes to do its job.  Expectations, of course the faster you can deal with the best.

  • Question about temperature internal Satellite A300 ND1

    Hello

I have a question about the temperature of the standards it of ok for my laptop and what is the normal temperature and how can I keep it low?

    Thank you.

    Hello

It's not easy to say what a normal temperature could be.
The temperature is not always the same and it depends on the use of the laptop.
Usually, the temperature would increase while gaming or running applications high performance. Why? Because all devices such as the CPU and GPU would focus the heat dissipation and this leads to a higher temperature.

    > How can I keep it low
Very simply, you can keep still low level, but you can make sure there is enough free space around the laptop to ensure good air circulation.
Also don t use the laptop on your knees etc in order do not obstruct cooling fans.

It s also advised to clean the fans from time to time using the jet of compressed air. These sprays are really useful and could buy in the stores of different computers.
