Question about CTIOS agent licenses!

Hi all

A customer want to install 7.0 with Cisco CTIOS Agent Desktop IPCC and he wants to order 25 CTIOS Agent licenses. In my lab environment, press kit My IPCC 7.0 is the demo version of NFR. My license is NLR. If I can add the CTIOS agent unlimitly.

But what about the customer? My question is that the license is only a paper or Cisco has limited in the system. Can they add the unlimitly CTIOS Agent?

I await response.

Thank you & best regards

The IPCC/ICM Enterprise licenses are based honor. Cisco has no control of the number of connected simultaneous agents. In IPCC Express, the system has control of registered agents.

But you can try to implement a custom control using the Toolbox CTIOS: in your custom application, you can check the number of agents is connected, and if the number is larger than the agents bought or launch the officer's request.

At present, the IPCC Agent licenses are a piece of paper.

Kind regards

Juan Luis

    Hello

You can install and activate a license creative cloud on 2 computers, regardless of their operating system. But you must use one at a time, in other words you should not share your license with another user. A license is for a user that can be used in different places as the home and office.  However, creative team of cloud subscription, you can have multiple licenses under a subscription that you can assign to users. • Question about first trial license

    Hello!

I created a video for an organization that is supposed to be used commercially for profit. The video is about a group of students to do a project, where the project is given by the organization. I want to use Premiere Pro (trial version) to create this, as it's good for the quality without loss and a good workflow (as well as I know the functioning of the school). My question is if I am allowed to create this video with the trial version and put it on the web page of the project (non-profit). The free license there any limit to this or can I do this without a problem?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: I read through the terms of use for Premiere Pro and CC in general, but it does seem like there is anything this definite. There was a paragraph that was close enough, but I think it's referring to if income was made.

The trial has the same rules as the paid version.  As long as you can create and export original media, you can use it as you like.

  • Question about the language/license (2.4 LR-> LR 3.0 update)

    Hello

I bought the full version of Lightroom a few years via Adobe US Store, which came as version mulit languages (FR, EN) and I want to update my LR to 3.x and use the software in German. Can I buy an updated German-setting, or also the English-release updated version for LR 3.x (which is cheaper) and will always be able to change the German language in the "General settings"? I don't know if the serial numbers are "connected" to a specific language - the German version of Lightroom on amazon upgrade says 'German' set to date.

    Thanks in advance

AFAIK LR comes with many languages and it depends on your OS that is used language. Language can be changed with some operating systems, but you will need to tell us yours.

  • Question about installing standalone Agent in patched environment

    Hi all

I have a question about the installation of an autonomous Agent of ODI, some information on the situation: I have Studio ODI 11.1.1.7.0 installed and configured. Everything worked fine until we have improved our environment from planning to 11.1.2.3.500 patch.  We had to apply the patch 18687916 for ODI solve some problems, but everything worked well again after that.  Now I need to install an autonomous agent to run scenarios in a batch, the agent will be on the same server as the ODI studio.  My question is can I run the installer and only select the autonomous agent then reapply the patch 18687916 or do I need to get out the patch 18687916 first, or something totally different?

    Hello

I think you should restore the 18687916 patch and then install the standalone agent, then patch 18687916 it.

But wait answer of the guru.

In my case, I did the thing above, and it works very well if it was my test environment.

  • A question about license Eula agreements

    Hello:

I have a question about the license agreements (EULA end user). Could someone figure this out for me?

My question is, what is the significance of the AE6 2.1.7.2 EULA?

EULA - after effect 6 download link: http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/pdfs/Gen_WWCombined-MULTI-20111031_1230.pdf

    2.1.7 use of server

    2.1.7.1.

2.1.7.2... (e) for operations not initiated by an individual user (for example, the server automated processing).

Everything (e), means that I can't start automatically processes via the AE AE script? That's what I'll do below.

There will be a few AE works in the work list (DB), my script would read the list, and then automatically start program main AE,.

After some processes, the work will be done. The script should continue to work until all the works being completed.

What is a legal way to use AE?

    Thank you.

    Neil

As far as my understanding of the legal points will: No. you would breach 2.1.7.1 and also on some level 4.7 and 4.8 break - Amazon is not your local network and since otehrs can access the server outside the number of permits users who could carry some influence in the judgememnt. Anyway, I'm not a legal expert by any means. However, technical obstacles remain: AE and SOUL do not necessarily play with the server because of CoDecs software, licenses and other things system level get involved Server security mechanisms can stop working...

  • A question about the license of Oracle 1 g R2 Enterprise Edition

    Hi all

I have a question about Oracle license and I would be grateful if you could help me thanks.

I installed an Oracle (11g R2 Enterprise edition) server on a virtual linux machine. The pc being used for this purpose
is my cell phone company (so a professional and not a personal computer). However, I use this Oracle Server
only for the purpose, i.e. learning only to run the examples in my Oracle Press books (SQL, PL/SQL and some)
administrative tasks) just to learn things.

There is absolutely no data related to my business, stored or used on this server. Whenever I want to work with my
data of the company, I use the Oracle server of the company that has the appropriate license of course. So, as I said, I
Use this server of the company on the virtual machine only to run applications/programs in my Oracle Press books just for
learning and I'm the only person who uses this server (no remote for other users).

The reason why I needed to install this server on my PC, is that our DBA could not provide a training environment
for me, with all the privileges and features.

Should I buy a license for this Enterprise Server installed on my virtual machine?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dariyoosh

  • Agent licenses VC - why Vmware only want our money?

    I have a strange question:

-We have VMware ESX-es (ESX, ESXi, incorporated ESXi) some for free, some coming with DELL on flash,.

3 installed as a foundation of Vmware.

-We have VMware VC put Center to level toward the comprehensive Center (sales we sent a file, we applied and now have full VC) and 6 license agents.

Now, we are looking for a way to add licenses more agent so we can monitor all our free and embedded ESXi-s and ideally to monitor our 2 Server2.

Problem is that it is, hmm, impossible.  I can't believe, but Vmware sell VC agent licenses and do not sell licenses to add value to their products free.

I don't need to licensing additional infrastructure VI - I already run VC and do not need more.

I don't need starter packs - I already had one, and now I run.

I just want to pay a reasonable amount of money, $100 - $300 per server and add the server in VC. I want to be able to pay a reasonable amount of money and add little in VMotion and HA. I want to pay a reasonable amount of money and add the backup when I need (no need to the IRB because I have NetApp and backup just snapshots NFS).

So, we are ready to buy. Buy license agent single host license HA of single host, single host... But we are not willing to pay for the things that we do not have (infrastructure VI) we already have.

So, how can it be? How Vmware is making money, if you can't even pay for the existing productis you need (no technical limitation)? How can I add agent licenses so that I can manage our systems 10-15 Vmware (ESX * and server *) but still have systems themselves on the permitted range of drive (we cannot risk with the centrallized license server, no way!).

(What is interesting - if we can't pay, we just go around and reconnect VC to the ESX-are different to the need, one at a time.)  But this means that VMware, Yes, never got our money. They have a great product, one of the best in the world. And they have a very poor sales, the worst in the world).

Why I can't find something like this:

-upgrade center foundation VI in the center of VC data center - $$$

    -1 additional agent license - $$$

    -1 additional license for the Server2 - $$$

-10 licenses pack for the VC - $$$

-ESXi integrated fully licensed (backup, vmotion, etc.) - on the site of Dell - $$$

I missed something on their site?

(You can buy DELL ESXi, only $99.) But it is very difficult to know about DELL, and it is not easy to start. And Amadou add a bit of $$ and connect it to the VC & lt; unless you're still inside the licenses of initial VC.).

Virtual infrastructure licenses and licenses for Virtual Center are two different things.

Virtual Center license lets you run Virtual Center.

Virtual INfrastructure license, allows to manage the ESX (i) server through your VC.

The type of license VI (Starter/standard/enterprise) will define the options that you can use.

You can register each host separately, but some options require a central license server.

The $99 Dell ESXi, that's what they ask for a USB stick theyput ESXi on (which is pretty easy to do it yourself for much cheaper), what you pay extra to be able to manage that ESXi with VC, is actually a license VI.

  • Question about "Windows 8.1 DG to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit" and Windows product key

I have acquired a recnet ThinkPad T450 fdrom a retialer online (NCIX) and I hav ea a few questions about the installed Windows operating system.

Before I just go further, HRE are some information about my particular system.

    Lenovo ThinkPad T450

    Model: 20BV00BUS

    CPU: Intel Core i5-4300U

    RAM: 4 GB

Under the product description, it was stated "Windows 8.1 DG Windows 7 Pro 64." My understnading, the ThiknPad has been installed with Windows 8.1, but downgraded to Windows 7. There is also a Windows 8 Pro badge sticker at the bottom of the matchine.

Is it possible, at the end of the user/consumer, to alter the functioning ti repressive back Windows 8.1?

Can I create a recovery with Windows 8.1 disk?

A separate but related matter relates to the Windows product key.

I noticed the Ultrabook do not come with a sticker / label with the Windows product key (i.e. COST). Some quick research indicated that the Windows key is programmed into the BIOS.

This indeed true (I wish an audit)?

The key is visible in some way (for when you need to reinstall the operating system. I have not tried to enter the BIOS at the moment)?

Thank you for taking the time to consider my question.

    Kind regards

    Victor L.

    Hi Victor,

I'm in the same boat as you type, but want to keep the facilities of Windows 7 rather than pass them to 8. Just like you, I buy our Lenovo from different retailers and they come with windows 7 installed through the Windows 8 lower upgrade program.

We had one or two laptops come with a recovery media (for windows 8/8.1 only) but have noticed that all laptops now come with no physical media or codes for the recovery. WIN8 stickers, you described is more came with the license key on the sticker (it comes to stop you using the same license again and again, microsoft will get more money if you buy another license etc.). I also saw that the key is essentially located in the BIOS but were not able to test what we use any of windows 8. I use it even at home!

To answer your question, you can get a recovery of Lenovo for Windows 8 media!

Go to the following link: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/lenovorecovery

(It help you understand why this method is used on this page as well)

    Select Start,

Please have your serial number of your laptop, (to find it go to this link: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/find-product-name)

If you qualify (which you will very probably) Lenovo will ship for free, recovery disks give it a go, took me 2 minutes.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards, Max.
