  Whenever I have run or click on the links to Windows Update to update my workstation at work I usually click the links on the left under the heading Control Panel home.  When I click on it it says "Windows is up-to-date.

  This morning, I clicked on the 'check online for updates from Microsoft Update' and found about 20 updates of security necessary to my machine.  My question is, what is the difference between checking the updates link in the Control Panel Home section and check online for updates from Microsoft Update?

• General question about the updates and version number

• Questions about the update of the related .ai files

  I have two questions about related images.

  (1) sometimes when I make changes to an .ai file, the InDesign document will automatically update the image as soon as I save changes in Illustrator. In other words, I do not need to update the link in the Panel links ID.  Other times, however, the link will not update, and I have to click the yellow triangle next to the image in the links Panel to see the changes. Is there a reason why this is happening and is there an easier way to update images as the links Panel.   (2) every time I make a change to a file .ai, the image linked in InDesign always re-scales, and I can't understand why he's doing or how to stop it.   Yes. You write a DLL so all the Windows APIs are available for you – that includes GUI objects. If you talk of widgets Adobe then not you must stay within their framework (for example, filters, exporters)

  Partially. You can get calendar information and clip, but it is not talk you about the applied effects.

  Download the SDK and look at the PDF document. Also from that look at the API header files it references - they have comments in them that expand information document (especially for things like widgets and what information is available on the project)

  You can run your 10.0 app on Q10. Try it in the Simulator.

  If it works and that all goes well for you you don't have to create a new version.

  The simple driver update will not damage your laptop but the incorrect BIOS.
  Anyway, Sam is right. The S in the first step means satellite. This is why you must use drivers for 2410-303. These are the correct drivers and they should work on the laptop.

• Question about the update of value added for the Satellite P100-160 package

  I got an email off the coast of Toshiba today telling me there is a value added package update available (PVAT (v1.0.25).
  I downloaded and unpacked. It contains three options:
  2 don't buttons, button 6, no button but there is no readme etc to tell me which version is my P100-160.

  I have added, trying to install one of them gives me an error that it has already installed older versions that should be deleted everything first.

  This update is available for all units of Core2Duo.
  As you already wrote it is optional, and you must not install it. If you use original recovery image Toshiba you have no need for the functionality of the laptop. Using the recovery image or you have installed your own OS?
