Question about the creation of cluster data store

I'm running vSphere 5.1 and want to enable storage Drs before as I have create the cluster data store, I was reading through VMware vSphere 5.1, but don't see any confirmation when I add data to the cluster storage, the virtual machines using these storage of data is not affected.

Can anyone confirm that the addition of a data to a data cluster store store has no impact on virtual machines running?

Thank you.

You can add and remove data warehouses in a cluster of data with VMS running store.

    Hello
I will create a clone of the EBS system...
It would be the first time...
In any case, read the note from doc: 230672.1 on the creation of the db, I have the following wonders:
    (1) article 2: Clone Oracle Applications 11i
point 2b: Copy the database tier file system
It is not reffered anything about the control files... Are they going to be created using the command (Step 3a) ???:
             cd <RDBMS ORACLE_HOME>/appsutil/clone/bin
             perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier

    2) On Appendix  B: Recreating database control files manually in Rapid Clone.
it is referred that contro files need to be created manually if cloning is done when the database are on raw partitions or hot backup cloning(while the db is in open mode)...

Fix. Quick clone will create controlfiles for you. You just need to issue "prel adcfclone.pl dbTier" here.

It is mentioned that control files must be created manually if cloning is performed when the database are on raw partitions or backup to hot cloning (while the db is in open mode)...

OK, controlfiles must be created manually.

  • Question about the impact of a data file missing

    Oracle Version: 10 gr 2

What happens if I don't have a backup of the data file that is lost?

    OK understood

If you do not have a backup of your database and that you have lost a data file, then you must re - create control file (which will contain the names of data inside files) without indicating lost data file name

You must create the controlfile creation script and remove the line of lost data file name and create a controlfile. After that, you should be able to open your database successfully

  • Questions about the creation of a foreign key on a table

    Hello @ll,

during an update of the database, I lost a foreign key between two tables. The tables are called werteart and werteartarchiv_pt. Because of its size, werteartarchiv_pt is a partitioned table. The missing foreign key was a constraint on werteartarchiv_pt table referencing werteart.

Some statistics on the size of the mentioned tables:
    werteart 22 MB
    werteartarchiv_pt 223 GB
    werteartarchiv_pt (Index) 243 GB

I tried to create the foreign key again but it failed with the following error (apologies for the German error message):

    sqlplus ORA-00604: Fehler auf rekursiver SQL-ebony 1
sqlplus ORA-01652: Temp-Segment kann nicht um 128 in Tablespace TEMPS00 judgements

    The statement that I used:

    ALTER table werteartarchiv_pt
    Add constraint werteartarchiv_pt_fk1
    foreign key (rail, werteartadresse, merkmale)
    Reference werteart (rail, werteartadresse, merkmale)
    on delete cascade
    at the delayed start can be delayed;

So, the problem seems to be that Oracle needs a lot of temporary tablespace to generate foreign key and I do not know how and why.

My questions now are, and I hope that someone is there who can answer all or part of it:

    (1) why Oracle should temporary tablespace to create the foreign key? The foreign key uses the same columns as the primary key.

is 2 (a) possible to change the statement without using the temporary tablespace?

2 (b) if it is not possible to avoid the use of temporary storage space, is there a formula how to calculate the necessary temporary tablespace?

    (3) is it possible to modify data in tables while the foreign key is created or is the whole table locked during the process?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Bjoern

Because it is data validation to ensure that the foreign key are violated. If you had specified NOVALIDATE ACTIVATE in its creation then the existing data in the table should be checked and the statement must fill out instantly (future data added is enabled by the constraint).

You're not likely to be asked for Admin password unless you use a user account created with Limited permissions such as we would be put in place for another user on their machine. Some people share a machine with children, adolescents and setup one account limited for them.

I never really worried about to disconnect Internet-just don't have Internet Explorer or Email app open and active on the internet. You could always disable the wireless I guess. Usually the F12 key in the top row turns stylized / disable tapping. White = light it.

If you have a problem... just after this problem if the Recovery Manager gives no details of what you need to do about it. You can always phone HP and request a recovery media if the process fails for you.

My licensed Version of Windows is Windows 8 Version 6.2 Build 9200.
    Here are my questions:
    1. when I started to create the recovery disk, mentioned initial information display the image size estimated at 27.6 GB.
However, the size of recovery disk that was created in my external HARD drive is 16GB only.
Please let me know what is the size of the expected recovery.
    2. How will I know if I have a recovery partition on my system. The D partition size is 22.4 GB. The contents are Application and drivers.
    Thank you
    Naren

    Hi Naren,

To create a disc of recovery of the minimum disk space required is 16 GB. Recovery media is a general term for media containing a backup of the original factory condition or a favorable condition for a computer configured by an equipment manufacturer (OEM) or an end user. OEM media allows you to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system and preloaded software, that it was when it was shipped. Typically, if you create a recovery disc, it will have drivers and other applications.

  • Questions about the collection of personalization data.

I am currently working on a form which is presented as an xml file using a submit button by email.  There are several things that I wonder if you can customize and if so, how?

    1. Is it possible to have the calculated time field that is included in the exported data?
    2. IF SO... Is it possible to change the date/time calculated field to calculate when the e-mail button is clicked rather than when the form is started?
    3. Is it possible to have the file by e-mail named something other than * name * _data?  Maybe something that includes the date, or another domain specified for point more precisely what form it is?
    4. Finally, is it possible when you import data to import xml data into an Excel file which already has other data collected in it?

Responses to the foregoing would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Kayla

    Hey Kayla,

Yes, most of it is possible.

1: select the date/time field and go to object > tab. Liaison depending on the version of LC designer you have, you want the drop-down list of data binding to have 'Normal' or 'using the name '. This means that the value is exported to the XML file. If the drop-down list says "No data binding" or "None", the value will not be exported.

2: the date/time field probably has the script initialization or docReady. That's fine, the date and time will be filled when the form is opened. In order to refresh the time at the time wherever the user submits the form, you must include the following line in the mouseDown event of the submit button.

    DateTimeField1.execEvent("initialize");

This will trigger the DateTime field Initialize event and update the date / time just before submitting the form.

3: it's tricker, the name of the XML file is set automatically to reflect the name of the file of the form. You can write the script to change the name of the file of form (and by extension the name of the XML file), however, this requires a function of trust in a separate javascript file. This JS file will have to be on all computers which would be used to access the form and to be honest not worth the (significant).

4: adobe do a good job, if you are distributing your form via Acrobat.com. Additionally, Acrobat version 9 allows you to select the individual xml files and export them to an Excel spreadsheet (under the menu options). You can also compile returned forms by selecting the answer file and the individual xml files. I don't think that you will be able to export a new XML responses in an existing worksheet. Using Excel, you may be able to import the new XML into the existing file. If all else fails, I export the new xml to spreadsheet files, this open in Excel and copy the data back. Open the existing worksheet, and then copy the data back at the end of the table.

    Hope that helps,

    Niall

    Hello

    qattachctl. AttachMode = TMQ_ATTACH_TEMPORARY;

    qattachctl. QTYPE = TMQ_ATTACH_PQ;

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Bruno.

I think the name of the temporary queue can be returned to a member of the structure of the argument 'ctl' tpqattach() replyqueue (i.e. the ctl-> replyqueue).

    That which contains for you?

  • Ask about the creation and filling I$ table on different condition

    Hello
I have a question about the creation and filling I$ table on a different condition. In which condition the I$ table creation? And these conditions are given below:

    (1) * source and transit area * are on the same server (that is to say target is located on another server)
    (2) * gathering and target area * are on the same server (IE source is on another server)
    (3) * source, transit area and target * are * different 3 * Server
Source 4), area transit and target are on the same server
    Thank you

I'm not quite clear to your question. Always try my best to erase it.

In your all over requirement I$ table will be created.
If the same staging as target (a database, a user) then all temporary tables are created in this user
If the scaffolding is different from the target (a database, two users (A, B)), then all temporary tables will be created under that user A (lets consider) and the data will be inserted into the target table that is present to user B

Staging is different from the target (two database, two users (A1, A2), architecture not recommended) if all temporary tables will be created under that user A1 (A1 of the databases) and the data will be inserted into the target table which is present in user A2 (A2 data base)

If the source, staging, the target will be under a database then no. LKM is required, IKM is sufficient to load the data into the target. Especially for this, you can see an example given by Craig.

  • Cluster data store

Currently we have a number of data warehouses VMStore_Live1 at 8, recently we had a data store to fill and this due to a problem with some of the virtual machines running in our direct environment.

I had a thought on the use of cluster data store so storage DRS would be used between data warehouses, we are currently using NetApp, would be one of your recommend using cluster data store? or is there some catch with this?

We have a host with DRS and HA cluster, but at the moment we have just warehouses of separate data which manually migrate us vm.

    Yes,

    We have two modes:

    1 manual load balancing

    2. automatic load balancing

We do not have partially automated our way to BLAH DRS cluster.

Note that: automated initial investment is excluded in both modes: DTS generates a recommendation of initial investment which still requires a manual confirmation.

  • Questions about the implementation of clusters of storage and DTS on active cluster

I have a few questions about the implementation of clusters of data store and SRS storage in VSphere 5.1.

We have a data center with about 15 HP blades and a few servers non-lame.  The hosts are all either VSphere 5.0 or 5.1.  Our back-end storage is an EMC VNX 5700 with about 20 stores of data.  All the VMWare is managed by VCenter 5.1 running on a dedicated physical machine.

Currently, each data store is used individually; No piles of data store are put in place.  When a new virtual machine is created, the administrator usually chooses the data with the most space store.  Periodically, we will go back and manually storage vMotion machines to balance the load.

Recently, we have expanded the VNX storage, so we now have LUNS in different pools, with different levels of performance.

What I would do is set up for the data store clusters, so that us when a virtual machine is created, the administrator must not know what data store is in which pool.  Also take advantage of the DRS storage so that the burden of storage will be "refine" himself a little.

I know the setting up of a cluster of storage in a 'clean' environment is quite simple, but my concern is creation/conversion data warehouses existing in active production in the cluster, while they are used.

If I access the screen "data warehouses and store data from clusters ', right-click on the data center and create a cluster, and then move the various data stores in the new cluster, will there be an interruption in the production running systems?

I also wonder about activation of storage i/o control.  It is not currently enabled on data warehouses.  I know it's useful for the StorageDRS, but will be allowing any negative impact on the system?  If I turn on the warehouses of data, is there anything else I should do or set in addition to all that allows him?

Finally, we are in the process of Site Recovery Manager configuration.  SRS has an impact on the configuration of the data clusters and DTS store?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

    Gregg Robertson wrote:

    Hello

Clusters of data and using DTS store doesn't impact RS even if you create a cluster of data store for storage of replicated data and another for everyone else, this way you machines virtual you want to replicate are not moved on warehouses of data that are not replicated , but will still have the ability to move if there is a conflict.

    Gregg

With all due respect but SRM and DTS don't go together. SRM does not at all support the use of DTS. So if you are configuring SRM forget DTS for now.

Reason for this is that SRM knows no DTS and VMs can be in flight when a failover should occur, and bad things can happen. Also, the protection breaks when a virtual computer is moved between data warehouses in a cluster data store.

    In short: don't go there.

  • Just a quick question about the appearance of the cluster

Hello, this is Matthew, just a quick question about the appearance of the cluster

Is there anyway to rearrange the order of the elements? I know cutting automatic resizing, I could move the items by hand. But if I use the cluster somewhere else, I have to move the items again...

What I want is of the order of "Mx My Mz Ax Ay Az Temp voltage CS".

Is there a quicker way to deal with?

    THz so much!

You can right-click the border of the cluster and choose "arrange control cluster...". "The user interface is not as intuitive as it could be, but it will allow you to reorder items. If you use the cluster in several places, you should make the cluster in a type definition and replace all current uses of the latter with the type definition, so that they all match. They will also update automatically when you make changes to the type definition. Otherwise, you could have a situation where you have multiple groups with the same data types, but with elements in a different order, and your data will be getting a new denominated, when wire you the whole clusters. The data will be in the same order, but given that the item labels are in a different order, you can't get the data you want, when ungroup you by name.

  • A few questions about the use of data and Cliq

I have the cliq, however I chose to not get 3G (so I bought full fare). So I have a few questions about the phone and the use of 3G / 2 G/Edge:

1 - is possible to disable completely the 2G / 3 G/Edge? I know you can switch between them, but are anyway just tell the phone to stop using them altogether since I'm not subbed to the service?

    2. when the update takes place, I guess we'll have to reconnect motoblur and etc, but if I don't have 3 G will I have motoblur connection problems after the update? Or he keeps the latest wifi settings so that it would connect to wifi to connect. When I first got my phone it was not a problem b/c I had 3G for the first month.

I hope that makes sense, thanks!

To stop all the data, I would like to download an application called APNDroid. He cut them all down. When you log on to blur you have 3G or WIFI doe this without getting a timeout error. During the process of setting up your Blur account, you can press the menu button and set up your wifi to work, this will connect you to Blur and your phone will be connected to the blur. If I were you I would be rethinking to do a data plan since you are really losing out on most of your main features of phones. It's your choice, however.

  • remove the Cluster data store data store

I have an infrastructure with vCenter and ESXi 4 5.5 I have a data cluster store in SAN with 8 Mon, I need to remove 3 Lun (to be used for other purposes) what is the appropriate procedure

to remove the Lun (end then to destroy)? Thank you

Do you want the LUN to use for purpose of non-vSphere? If so, you can just storage vMotion virtual machines since associated LUN data warehouses that you want to decommission (or simply putting the data store in maintenance mode, in this way, that the virtual machines will automatically be migrated). Cleaning after the data store, move the data store from the cluster data store, and then delete the VMware environment data store as described here: best practices: how to properly remove a unit number logic of a host ESX - VMware vSphere Blog - VMware Blogs
