Hello

I have been struck off the coast of the event today by my own mistake and did not get to hear the answers to my questions. If anyone can answer here, it would be great!

The speaker should use the chat vs. Q & A if you have a large audience. Please define in numbers a wide audience. My Webinars for e-Learning will be a host and an instructor. I'm new to webinars.

The speaker talked about resolution of the screen of the person in a double room on the screen. He also spoke of the resolution of the graphics inside your PPT. Please help me with the guidance on these 2 points.

I would use the Q & A pod any time you're dealing with a group that is larger than you can handle dealing with issues in real time in the chat module. For some this may be 3, others may be 20, but there is no defined number where you use one against the other. Simply determine which is best for you in a given situation and use. For smaller interactive sessions, I use the Chat pod. For sessions where I will give lectures and then answer the questions, I use the Q & A pod. It is not necessarily on the number of people present for me.

As for the size of the graphic in your PPT deck. Just use the graphs that correspond to the slide. Inserting an image which is 2 to 4 times the size of slide, then it towards the bottom do not change the file size of the image, so you end up with a huge addition to your slides, all for a small image. So, you can use the image in PPT optimization feature (I don't remember what it's called), or use another photo editing tool to resize your images before inserting it into the TPP.

  • Network connection event listener

    Hi all

    I am currently working on a project for a client where I develop an application without head tuned a network connection event. The idea is that the user will send information to a server to update via an interface user (designed by a colleague), but if there is no connection information is stored in a memory buffer/registry and an app without a head is triggered to listen to a network connection. Once a connection is detected, the data buffered in memory are automatically sent to the server and put an end to the application without a head.

    What I would like to know is if there is a way to invoke the application without a head when the network connection is established so that I can use a short app, or I have to design a long-term headless app to listen constantly IE check the network at regular intervals untils, a connection is established. I would try to avoid long design works without a head because of problems of performance and battery and the fact that I also have to file documents with Balckberry to get that license!

    Regarding the head and user interface elements. My colleague has designed the user interface in adobe air. I saw extensions for Air and Webworks cascading when you create a new project, but I'm wondering is it possible to integrate a user interface designed in the air with an app designed cascading headless, is replacing the part of the user interface of the headless with the designed Air UI?

    It would be a great help if it is possible as establishing two separate applications on the device for a project is not what we want to do.

    There is no 'set up network' trigger right now (you can have a good usecase, I suggest that you connect to a feature request in the developer Issue Tracker: SAID), so your only option is to operate as a long application work without waiting for the connection head.

    You should try and make sure that your application has no problems of performance or the battery regardless of approval without head

    Theoretically, I think you probably have an AIR interface for your native application headless... You will need to take the native code frontend and turn it into a native extension of AIR, so it speaks to your native without a rear head. As far as I know nobody is working on this though. I recommend you do this Interface in Cascades.

    You may need to try a different browser. Many browsers use their own pdf viewers now as you can see, can cause problems.

    You can also try a right click and save the PDF on your computer and then using file > open from drive to see.

  • Cannot locate the URL of the Adobe Connect Server Info

    I recently bought Adobe Captivate 8.0 and I saw how responsive design. Now, I am trying to publish and display the content to display on a mobile device using Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro.

    My mobile phone displays Web sites regularly, but it does not display one of my delicate design projects.

    1. Click on publish
    2. Select publish in Adobe Connect
    3. In the name of the dialog box publish to Adobe Captivate, I get a valid name for the project
    4. (The URL box is empty). Click on folder Orange icon
    5. In the Acrobat Connect Pro Server dialog box, I click on add
    6. In the add new Server dialog box.

    You can try using https://arcps.adobeconnect.com in the URL field.

    If you have Adobe Edge inspect, you can preview the output of the sensitive project in Mobile.

    Adobe Connect support staff has recommended that we use Adobe Premiere Elements to change the FLV file that we exported out of their software.  We purchased Adobe Premiere elements 12 based on this notice.  Now we see that the FLV files are not on the list of supported files to import.

    A live webcam Adobe Connect Pro meeting is visible from an external drive based on Flash (not a record, but the meeting taking place live)? If Yes, what is the API to use?

    I didn't belive it is possibe. If for no other reason, it would be to protect/apply the licensing of your meeting room. Logisitcally it would be difficulut, because the Connect meeting is not a single stream, so you should have something that might capture and properly combine all the different currents. Whatever it is, it has no API to do what you ask.

    I'm looking to do a survey about Adobe Connect 9.  I would like to have participants to navigate to a page that displays a survey when they the webinar leave... is it possible?  The only solution I found so far is to use the function 'Browse for' in Web links and navigate participants it before their departure.

    Another question is on the recording of the rooms.  Is this possible?

    You can use the function of end of session (meeting > end meeting). In this tool, you can have a personalized message poster and force everyone to a URL of your choice.

    Rooms are not listed, only the main room is.

  • FMS 3.5 and Adobe Connect Pro on the same machine?

    Is it possible to install Flash Media Server 3.5 on the same Windows machine where Adobe Connect Pro is installed?

    If so, how?

    When I try to, it says there is already a distance of FMS running and he asks to uninstall.

    No, you can't. At the time the same pattern did not work with Breeze and FCS on the same node. I suggest you go with vmware to separate nodes. However, I would not recommend mix the two on the same physical machine as the two methods require everything a bit of resources.

    If you are directly connected to the server, simply create a folder (what looks like) Z:\ToExport\RepDocs\ which is the new name of Fortin, ex:
    Z:\ToExport\RepDocs\NEW_folder and put the files into it. If you are now directly connected to the server, use a program such as FTP server to connect via FTP and do the same thing.

    It is simply because http://myserver/Myreport/ is set to point to the Z:\ToExport\RepDocs\MyReport file so it looks http://myserver is set on the Z:\ToExport\RepDocs\ folder anything you add to a folder which will be included.

    I have no sound on my Dell inspiron 6400. Volume is not muted, sigmatel peripheral is enabled, hardware (speakers laptope) work, drivers have been updated and reinstalled.  Windows xp service pack 3.  The problem occurred after that children were playing a game of Dora on CD.  Above the popup of the event (System event Audio Audio System has detected a device connection event audio description location of the right panel Black Jack) appears.  Can get sound by using an external speaker.

    I note a number of comments suimilar on other sites but no resolution on these offers from
