  For a group 18345, there are 10 users and this is the reason why I get a multiple user records.
  
  I can't avoid these last three columns, because I have to show these values in the application.

  What is your problem then? If you simply issue a SELECT statement to application code or send the data back to REF CURSOR, it will be quite OK to have several lines. That's what the SELECT statements are for: to return sets of results with several lines.
  So, could not explain your problem more in detail please? If you get an error somewhere, provide the code causing the error and the error message (it is probably ORA-001422 exact extraction returns several lines somewhere in PL: / SQL, isn't it? then post here).

  In my opinion, the UNION is at the origin of the problem. Can I replace the UNION here? Please share your ideas on this.

  A few points:

  1. Why do you call handleCurrencyChangeEvent in the event to add a line? Simply set the useful, likely of the values in the line it himself.

  ex:-instead of calling the handleCurrenyChange method, simply add the below lines inside the createDetailRow()

  3. Why do you call initPVO when it is clicked on the Add line? Are you calling not just in the PR?

  Remember the ABC's of the GROUP BY:

  When you use a GROUP BY clause or in an aggregate function, then all in the SELECT clause must be:

  (A) a ggregate function,

  (B) one of the expressions "group By."

  (C) adding to C, or

  (D) something that Depends on the foregoing.  (For example, if you "GROUP BY TRUNC (dt)", you can SELECT "TO_CHAR (TRUNC (dt), 'Mon - DD')").

  To ask him, there are 5 columns in the SELECT clause.  The last one is a function MAX (...); It is an aggregate, is not serious.

  The first 2 columns are also named in the GROUP BY clause, so that they are well.

  The other 2 columns, country and internal_Id do not match any of the above categories.  These 2 columns cause the error.

  There are many ways to avoid this error, each producing different results.  You could

  • remove these 2 columns in the SELECT clause
  • Add these 2 columns in the GROUP BY clause
  • use the aggregation such as MIN, 2-column functions
  • remove the country from the SELECT clause and add internal_id to the GROUP BY clause
  • remove the internal_id from the SELECT clause, and add countries to the GROUP BY clause

  I found a solution that works very well.

  I added a new XML field to my data called .  In my model, this field is inserted in the line, but in a location where there is no data being printed. And it is formatted as white text, so that it basically just does not appear.

  So essentially, it's what I have now:

  I'm quite puzzled why you need rows in the dataset returned by a select statement that is empty.
  If you are using Oracle reports to the release date, you define the presentation of the report to have spaces between the rows returned by the select and have do not need to have the select statement returns a blank line after each line of data. If the output should be obtained by using another client, I think that the customer will have facilities for output formatting.

  Admit that you really need "blank lines" between data lines, I see only one way: use a temporary table and do an insert into select temporary_table (...) ... from... where... Then, in this temporary table, you can insert 'empty rows', which is actually not really empty, because they must have some fields that give the order of the rows. And then select in temporary_table, you place your order by the columns that are used to give the order for the release.

• generate several lines of each row in a table

  Hi all, consider the following data
  

  with data1 as
  (
    select 1 id, 0 cust_sh, null mx_sh, 123 cust_coll from dual union all
    select 2 id,0 cust_sh, 0 mx_sh, 0 cust_coll from dual union all
    select 3 id,456 cust_sh, 890 mx_sh, 123 cust_coll from dual 
  ),
  data2 as
  (
    select 'cust_sh' col_nm, 'ABC' nm from dual union all
    select 'mx_sh' col_nm, 'BDC' nm from dual union all
    select 'cust_coll' col_nm, 'HGR' nm from dual 
  )

  what I'm trying to do here is to join the two tables sort and produce this output

  id  nm         amt
  =====================
  1   HGR        123
  3   ABC        456
  3   BDC        890
  3   HGR        123

  That's how I get this result. Data1 has lines with the ID and the columns with quantities such as cust_sh, etc.
  data2 bearing the name of the column in data1 under col_nm and an additional column as nm.
  
  for each line of Data1, I should take the amount column, look in database2 and the data1 amount is greater than 0.
  then display the output.
  
  for example, to get data1 row1. cust_sh is set to 0, so we don't look this column in Database2. mx_sh is set to null, which is not greater than 0, then us none.
  cust_coll has the value 123 so we wait for this column in Database2. This is the third row in Database2. Therefore, view us the id and the amt of Data1 and data2 nm.
  
  for line two of Data1, all after id columns are 0. don't have no need to display the output. only when the amount is greater than zero, we watch in Database2.
  
  third row, cust sh has value 456 so we expect in database2 and we found in the first row. mx_sh has a value of 890 (greater than 0) so again once we look at Database2 and display the output.
  
  can someone help me with a query that produces the output above?

• SQL Server 2005 - using the SQL Service Packs on the VCS Server 2.5

  Hello.

  We currently have an installation of data center with 2 servers ESX 3.5 and 1 Server 2.5 VCS. Version 2.5 of VCS runs on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition. The system worked for a short period and we have a number of models and virtual machines in the test and production laboratories. I would like to know if it is possible to apply the Service Pack of SQL Server 2005 so that I can enjoy the Maintenace Plan features in SP1 from. Did someone already did call a Service Pack for SQL Server 2005 that is running an instance for VCS 2.5 with success?

  If so, please let me know the methods used and any useful links that you may have found on the subject?

  I went through the process, and it is no different from any other.  Stop just vc and make backups of db.  Then proceed as usual.  I haven't run into no problems so far, and I am currently in SP3 for sql 2 k 5.
