• No Infrastructure displayed in vCAC tab to complete a task after installation "infrastructure license."

  I'm in the vCAC post-installation steps and the guide installation procedure requires that you log on to the vCAC console to provide a license to Infrastructure. When I connect to https://vcac-hostname.domain.com/shell-ui-app using "[email protected]", I don't see a tab "Infrastructure". I only have a tab 'Administration '. I also tried the root account and I can't, either, by using the root Infrastructure tab only 'home' and 'inbox' tabs are displayed.

  Can someone let me know how I can find out the tab 'Infrastructure '? Also, how this license is different from the license of IaaS, I input on the vCAC device (@ port: 5480) under 'vCAC Settings' > 'Licensing '?

  First, you will use the same license that you used in the vCAC device.

  Second, when you connect using [email protected] you need create a tenant or change the tenant by default to set an admin of Infrastructure or group user and a user admin tenant or a group. Then disconnect and open again as a user or a member of the Administrators group on the Infrastructure and apply to the license under the Infrastructure > administration > license. You will then be able to create endpoints and configure the system.

  I know that I need to install the sound driver but other 2 need me it?

  In my opinion, something goes wrong during the procedure of the extract.
  I recommend you to decompress the package first using 3rd party software such as WinZip or WinRAR.
  I guess you tried to run the exe (for example TC00533100E.exe).

  It is a compressed package. Right click on the exe file and select Extract here.
  This exe file is decompressed and in the package, you would find another setup or install.exe file that could be executed just to start the installation procedure.

  I think this should work for you.

• IR questions - installation TV Media Center with Hauppauge 2250

  I recently installed a Hauppauge 2250 (http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hvr2250.html) to my new Dell Studio Slim with Vista 32.

  In the process of setting up the TV, trying to set up a connection my Set Top Box (Motorola MPC 3200) MCE configuration using a receiver/IR blaster to change the channel.  The process is going well until the programming of the controller ECM RC1534522/00 (http://www.remotecontrol.philips.com/index.cfm?id=1336) model supplied with the Hauppauge 2250 pack to work with the receiver IR/blaster.

  When the installation process of TV asks to see if I would like MCE to automatically find my controller settings or to manually program the channels, I tried the auto settings and it does not recognize my remote.  I then try the manual programming and it goes through the process without errors.

  I was then sent to the next step.  The channel decoder is on can be clearly seen in the preview area.  It asks me to use my keyboard or my MCE Remote control, enter a known string that I will recognize.  Using my remote MCE, I try to change the channel and there is no response from my Set Top Box.  I try to use the keyboard to enter a channel and there is no response from my Set Top Box.  The IR Blaster is however furiously blinking which means he is grateful that I am him asking to send a signal and sending it in turn one. My Set Top Box has no problem, receive orders from its own controller which makes me believe that it is not a problem of receiver Set Top Box.  If there is a problem with the programming of the MCE Remote control that is not detected during programming?

  I have tried many remedies listed on thegreenbutton.com forums and forums for the response from microsoft, including:
  (a) place the IR blaster on the IR on the Set Top Box receiver (and confirming that the location is correct with the help of a digital camera).
  (b) uninstall drivers current and update the Hauppauge drivers available in order to ensure that the software is up-to-date.
  (c) to ensure to choose the input parameters just for my remote when asked if he must enter to be pushed to change the channel (the Set Top Box does not need to repel the entry, nor has she a button on the remote control).

  There are all the other remedies I can try?  Are there any drivers or software that I can download to help with this problem?

• Question installation Lexmark 8350 on Windows 7

  I am running windows 7 and have a Lexmark 8350 all in one inkjet connected to my laptop.

  A week or two there is the printer stops working and the cause seems to be the sudden absence of a driver. I tried to reinstall the lexmark printer driver I downloaded from the Lexmark site, but the facility would not be completed. The driver installation failed. I tried troubleshooting for a windows driver, but it is not installed, either.

  I went to Lexmark technical support and the technician was not able to install the printer driver, either. He had no idea what to do after more than an hour trying to clean my machine and install a driver.

  A recent upgrade of the windows operating system would be the cause of this driver issue?

  Any other ideas? I don't want to buy a new printer, since the mechanical parts of the printer are very good.

• Update question Installation Manager

  Our vCenter4 server is on a 64 bit Windows 2008 Server.    I just read the VUM Administrator's guide and if you don't catch the sentence x 86 you you could install on Windows 2008 (as it says you can, but I think that means the 32-bit version).   So if I'm wrong, then my desire to install on my server vCenter Update Manager is down the tubes.    So now, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.   My question is: can I create a virtual machine with Windows XP SP2 and install Vmware Update Manager on the virtual machine.  I don't have any physics more servers or workstations to devote to this effect.   Or I am mistaken and I should be able to install on 64-bit hardware?

  Almost 3 months ago I bought the 10 Elements for Windows online, but do not download the program immediately. Good thing, too: since that time, I was faced with a rootkit that infected both my desktop and laptop computers.

  When you download the software there are 2 files, 7Z and. EXE,

  7z is a compressed file in which you have everything necessary to install the software.

  Exe file is the windows utility that is used to dé-compresser or extract the 7z file content.

  Therefore, both are essential. However when dé-compresser you the content of 7z you get the actual plant installation and paylaods

  So either you burn the 7z file and the exe on the DVD or extract the contents of the 7z file and then burn DVD thr.

  Had this laptop for my daughter yesterday and he struggles to see wireless networks.

  I put t think that the problem is related to your wireless card / driver.
  However, if you want you can get the latest version of the Intel page driver because the laptop was equipped with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 map.

  It's module supports new card technology WLan (from 2013) supporting the 802.11ac + agn standards.
  I put t know what Wlan standard is supported by your WLan router but I recommend you to check the card advanced settings WLan (Device Manager-> card Wlan-> properties-> tab Advnaced) where you could choose the 802.11ac particular + agn Wlan standard.

  I also recommend different WLAN (1-11) channels as different channels supporting different frequency and this can affect performance.

• Install Windows 7 on SSD 4?

  Bought a new pc with SSD 128 G 3 and an ssd 256G and a 2 TB hard drive
