Question mark in my battery bar?

Help, please! Last night, a question mark (?) appeared in my player battery life bar. It is not showing my battery life and when I had it plugged to charge that she showed, he was in charge, but I guess it's because he's not dead. I read through the owners all manual and online, and can't find anything about what it means or how to fix it! I tried to restart, remove the battery and leave for about 5 minutes, then put it back, and nothing works! Please help me! Thank you!!!

Sorry, it seems that my last response didn't post before. I would try to put your phone in a TMO store and see if they can try another battery inside. This way, you will know if it of the battery or the phone. If it seems that the phone is the problem, I would try a factory first reset before calling for a replacement.

Question marks instead of the text is an indication of a problem with fonts.

In the fonts start menu bar click book fonts > Preferences and then click: resolve duplicates by moving the files to the trash

  • Start with blinking question mark folder

Hey guys, English is not my mother tongue and so I must apologize for my bad English, everything first.

Okay so here is my question:

I had a folder of flashing question mark when I rebooted my macbook pro retina (13.3 "end 2015, OS X 10.11.4 beta 6) last week.

So I get in recovery HD to see if if I can do a clean to fix install, but I can't find my disk to reinstall OS X, he showed is nothing.

Then I restart my mac again and again, sometimes I can boot normally.

But I can't found anything wrong, he just worked as usual, until what I restarted again, dead again.

I took it to the authorized service provider Apple to fix my mac. Yes, there is no official bar of the Apple Store and genius in my country.

They thought that my drive was dead, so they substitute a new drive for my, it took me a week to get my mac.

It seemed to work perfectly, so I restore my data by Time machine and upgrade to 10.11.4 beta 7.

Yesterday the 10.11.4 came out, so I updated my mac to this version.

But when it is restarted during installation, it showed the issue of question mark again.

After a few attempt to reboot, it finished installing. then I tried to reboot to see if it's good or not.

Unfortunately, it came with this folder again. So I turn it off.

After half an hour, I tried to start it again, it starts.

Everything seemed normal, I checked the S.M.A.R.T by DriveDx and the data were all good.

I fix the permission by DiskWarrior and it says no need to repair.

But I always get the record of question mark with 1/10 chance when it start.

I don't know what happened to my mac, is there anyone has a suggestion?

    Thank you

  • Japanese language that appear as question marks?

Hello! I have a problem, where some of the things I look for or registered now appears as a question mark (?). I think I might have accidentally deleted something in the font book, this is why it appears this way. Please could someone help me?

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like on my bookmarks bar:

This is a site for a site written in Japanese. The site is displayed correctly with Japanese characters, but the Favorites bar will appear with the [?], the title of the Japanese Web site.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Try to go to Fontbook > drop and make restore Standard fonts and restart.

  • Boxes of question mark symbol

I'm on a MacbookPro Intel core i7 and 2.9 ghz 2012 middle and recently updated to OS X El Capitan. Since that time, I see these symbols of question mark in the Apple Store Windows pop up instead of phrases that I should see. Anyone encountered before? Thanks for the help.

Please, back up all data before proceeding.

Launch the application book fonts and validate all the fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in Help and support article for instructions. If the font book detects any problems, solve them.

Start in safe mode rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, ask for instructions.

If you still have problems, then in the font book menu bar, select

The file restore Standard ▹ fonts...

You will be prompted to confirm and then enter your administrator login password.

Also note that if you disable or remove built-in fonts, for example by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.

  • iMac G3 tray charger stuck on the gray screen with question mark flashing folder

I recently bought an iMac G3 (charger tray, 333 MHz, M4984) and when I try to boot from an OS installation disc 10.3, there will remain only blocked on the gray screen with folder flashing with the question mark. Not only it does not maintain the keys C or Option, but it will not start up any combination of keys, such as resetting the PRAM or the NVRAM. It just starts and stays on the screen with the flashing folder does nothing. It CAN read the keyboard, because I can turn on the computer with the keyboard, it just won't start to the top of any disk or any combination of keys. Any ideas on what could be the problem? I just replaced the hard drive, but it was the same before I replaced the hard drive as well. In addition, the iMac had apparently OS 8.6 installed on it when it came, and I think I need to move to OS 9 and do a firmware update before you install OS X (correct me if I'm wrong), but I can not do because the iMac does start not in general of any combination of keys. It took charger slot, but I think that optional for the bin.  I think that you can upgrade the firmware with 8.6 for trays.

You may need to reset the PRAM and NVRAM and Mac's Open Firmware. Stop the Mac, then it turns on and before the screen lights up, quickly down the command, Option, P, and R keys, until the Mac rang twice more after the power to chime.

Then, before that lights up the screen, hold down the command-Option-O-F until the Open Firmware appears. Then enter these lines, and then press return after each of them:

    Reset-nvram

    Configure default

    Reset-all

"The reset-all command should restart your Mac. If so, you have successfully reset the Open Firmware settings. »

After that I've updated InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Muse. I now have a question mark in my menu instead of the icon bar, and I can access only Adobe Cloud applications. What I would do. Have a Macbook Pro

And select keep in Dock option.

It will again add Photoshop icon on the Dock.

Follow the same steps for the other

Instead of pictures (or), I get a blue square with a question mark in it.

This does not happen with all Web sites, but I wonder why it's happening with an Apple site, and how I can see the photos.

It sounds like a broken image link.

Post a screenshot if you can, so that we can confirm. The page seems OK after a glance. Command + shift + 4 then do slide on the affected area, add the image to the desktop to this site via the camera icon.

  • Mac mini (late 2012) flashing - question mark folder recovery does not work

    Hi all

earlier today, I upgraded my Mac mini (end 2012) to the latest version of macOS Sierra.

After 1 hour of use, I realized that many of my plugins FCPX were not working.

I contacted the developers, and they said does not update the plugins and they told me to go back to El Capitan.

I decided to listen to them and try to downgrade my OS.

I restarted the Mac and held down Cmd - R or something like that that took me to the disk utility screen.

Then I went down to dinner, and when I returned 30 minutes later my Mac had entered the sleep mode for some reason any.

I woke up the Mac and 40 seconds later the power went out for 5-10 minutes.

After the blackout, I restarted my Mac that took me to a black screen with a flashing question mark folder.

I followed some tutorials online (including how to enter get - and the recovery of internet mode), but after a while even restoration of the internet shows me the flashing question mark folder.

I don't know what to do.

And no - unfortunately I don't have a Time Machine backup.

But I have a backup with all my most important files.

Is it possible to force the Mac to reset itself or something like that?

    Help, please.

    Best regards

What happens exactly when you start Internet recovery

by pressing Command + Option + R at the start of the OS X Internet Recovery*.

and go to disk utility and repair the startup disk?

If repairable, the startup disk to format and install OSX via recovery. you install Mountain Lion or dependent Mavericks when the Mac was made. Then OSX you want.
