Question of destination.msi Windows Vista Sidebar

When I try to start Windows Sidebar, I get a windows pop up, the search for file destination.msi.
How can I fix it?

Okay, it looks like this problem occurs from time to time. But you can try the following:

First, you must open the command prompt, but with right click "run as Administrator".
Then navigate with the command CD to the following folder: C:\progam Windows sidebar.
OK, now you would type the following:

1. regsvr32 sbdrop.dll u (after each order approve with the button ENTER)

2 regsvr32 u wlsrvc.dll

3 regsvr32 atl.dll

4 regsvr32 sbdrop.dll

5 regsvr32 wlsrvc.dll

Done, your sidebar should work again.

    For the last couple days, whenever I connect to my computer, I get the following error message: Settings.ini is being used by another process.  Close other programs, and then click Retry or Cancel to exit sidebar.  I do not use the sidebar on my desk & want to know how to solve this problem.

    If this does not work, contact the manufacturer of this program to get advice.

    You can try an In-Place Upgrade (hopefully save programs and data) or a repair installation.
    Be sure to do a good backup or three.

    You can use another DVD that are not protected but you will need to copy you have the product key.

    Therefore, a quick question. I installed Windows Vista on another laptop years ago. The hard drive and laptop have been terminated and destroyed. There is therefore no chance that the OS is still there. I needed an OS for my computer, and didn't have that copy of Vista, so I installed, thought it would be perfect. After all, only one copy is in use at any time. It won't let me activate. Am I violating the terms of Service, or is there a solution?     How can I get my printer Brother mfc 4800 to print using Windows Vista 64-bit.  The printer is connected by usb cable and the machine is recognized by the computer.  It appears in Control Panel > printer folder.  When I choose printer and each attempt a test page or print a document the printer "ramps" upward as it wants to print but nothing prints ever.  This printer is connected to a computer, that I just replaced that had XP as an operating system.   Printer drivers claim to be "integrated" in Vista. I call brother and they say he works at their end, there is something missing on the microsoft side.  If you the new driver or support can you pls send.

    If you click on drivers in STEP 1, then STEP 2, check for the operating system, you will see that Vista is not an option, and so the Vista drivers were never written for this model of printer by brother.

    They rely on drivers XP to do the work for them.

    Brother is the one who wrote the drivers for its hardware, not Microsoft.

    I suggest that revisit you brother and ask them when they wrote the so-called Vista compatible drivers for Microsoft.
