  There is no need eval() here. (There are usually not.) Use:

  XMLObject.appendChild(<{nameReference}/>);
  

  To add an attribute, you can use:

• Dynamic stamps using JavaScript

  I'm having a problem with a stamp that I am creating (Acrobat X pro). I created a stamp custom and then added a form field using the form editor that includes the following script. When I open a document and click on the stamp, the java dialog box appears. I have a previously created stamp which has more fields and it works fine, but when I removed the 2 fields and recorded on my new stamp it won't work. I've renamed the stamp test.pdf file name to match the name in the code as well. Help, please. Thank you.

  I have a master form / retail. We will see that master is the order information; Detail is the order lines. Detailed form is tabular

  The detailed form, there is an attribute called 'Line Order Qty' and the user can update this field.

  User can update all rows in the detail forms and change "line Order Qty' for each line. When the user click on 'Save' button on Master form, I have to do below:

  Sum of the 'line Order Qty' for all lines, and compare it to another field called 'Plan Order Qty' on the master shape.

  If sum 'Line Order Qty' > "Plan Order Qty", then it should appear a message with "Are you sure?" with two buttons on the message: OK and cancel.

  If users click on 'OK', the application will proceed and update another field called 'Sum of Order Qty' on the main form and the value set for the sum of "Online Order Qty" for all lines;

  If the user clikc 'Cancel', the application will be paused. The user must come back to change "Line Order Qty", and then try again

  I created a matrix report, enabled the conditional formatting. The only problem I have right now is to go to a link in the report.

  I use 3 text elements Apex - P1_ID, P1_NAME and P1_URL.

  I use also 3 dynamic actions

  1. DEFINE NAME - will set the P1_NAME field with the value clicked in the report.

  2 SET ID & URL - define the fields P1_ID and P1_URL of the DB using the P1_NAME field.

  3-pop-up-appears the P1_URL using javascript.

  Problem statement:

  The pop up page is a blank page, although I can see that the value for the P1_URL field is defined using dynamic measurements.

  Could someone please take a look at this example and help me with the same.

  PS: The example was developed using sample data.

  Even if you change the value of the element or the element value in session state, it will not happen to the HTML document.

  I made a video which must contain a feature, which allows viewers to skip to the next chapter. Or better said: the next question. This is a faq video, which is pretty long, and I want viewers to be able to have the opportunity to go to the next question. Therefor, I'm looking for something like the dynamic titles (like: "question 2 starts here") that pop up when you scroll the timeline.

  It will not be displayed on youtube and it is also certainly not end up on a dvd. Can someone help me with a how? I have access to flash, never done anything with it. I usually work with the pp and ae. But I think that if someone wants to be good enough to describe - or point - a 'how to', I would be able to understand. Thank you so much in advance!

  I'm under Oracle 10.2.0.2. I'm currently building dynamic sql using external and internal queries ref Cursor. Queries make use of user selected lists of ID, which is stored in a table in memory at run time. My example is as follows. From a list of book_publication_id on a web page, the user selects several books. The same user selects then several maps from a list of map_publication_id on the same web page. A book contains several maps and some of these cards will appear in more than one book (aka many many relationships).
  
  This should then ask the following output to a new web page:

  Outer loop:  Display book details for book_publication_id 230
    Inner loop:  Display 1st map details for map_publication_id 340
    Inner loop:  Display 2nd map details for map_publication_id 346
    Inner loop:  Display 3rd map details for map_publication_id 350
  Outer loop:  Display book details for book_publication_id 240
    Inner loop:  Display 1st map details for map_publication_id 346
    Inner loop:  Display 2nd map details for map_publication_id 375
  Outer loop:  Display book details for id 255
  and so on.

  In the example above, the outer loop displays the details of the book for book_publication_id 230 and the inner loop displays all the users selected the maps in book_publication_id 230. Then, it moves on the details of the book for book_publication_id 240 and done the same thing again. Similar in some ways to how break would work in SQL * Plus, even if the table is built like an HTML, the book details must be on a separate line for the card details. However I don't know how I would want it to work.
  
  So far, using loops, I could not show all the details of card for each different book_publication_id, after the details of the book for only 1 book_publication_id are displayed each time. If a loop in a loop. I hope that makes sense. I think this is my internal request that it be built differently. My code for this part of the program, which is currently wrong, is as follows:

  You can use the cordova-plugin-device plugin for a UUID of the device (this api is the same on iOS, Android,...)

  This isn't exactly the same as the IMEI, but it is unique enough to identify the device, while protecting the privacy of the owner of the phone.

  If you need to get the IMEI, then google is your friend. This [1] was the first result when searching for "imei cordova.

  There's a good stack overflow article here [2] which has the disadvantage of using this value and encourage you to consider other ways to identify users, because users cannot trust your application if you ask for this info. Read the accepted answer.

• Can you create Destinations named by using JavaScript?

  I am creating a menu option in Adobe Acrobat that uses JavaScript to parse through a large pdf document and create named destinations by using the titles in the document.

  The titles all follow the same format unique, so I am able to identify them using regex. Once I found a title, I identify also the page it's on--and I store several times the title and the page in a table.

  My plan was to create named destinations using the information stored in the array. However, I did have a lot of chance to find how to create destinations named with JavaScript.

  Any input would be appreciated.

  Not possible with Acrobat Javascript.
