  Note that I do not use any GPIB. Also when I build the project NAV 2009 (without SP1) on another computer, I get no error. Any ideas?

  An Application (EXE). Now what I've done is removed the previous generation in the project framework > My Computer > specifications build and created a new Build > Application (EXE). And he built successfully!

  The only difference between the two screws is that I used a classic image object and I am now using the modern version; and the image tool window is replaced by the image associated with the picture tool palette. There is no property of the image I can find to activate the return on investment 'Legends' or not.

  How the user is supposed to know what return on investment is that?

  Oops...: indeed. I checked my LV 8.5 code (actually written in BT 6 or whenever the first control of the Image has been released) and I overlay numbers KING myself right here!

  Given that I had used at the same time of overlay to get return on investment numbers, I've just reinvented the wheel... twice.

  I still think it would make sense to access this feature by default in the Vision Toolkit.

• Application Builder Question: How to get several .exe files in one version?

  I am trying to release a LV 2010 application composed of a high level VI (Main.vi), and a number of dynamically called live contacting one using functional global variables (and a few classic global variables).

  One of the dynamic subVIs (Second.vi) can in fact be used independently of Main.vi (and often will). I wish it were available as a .exe, but I would like to be able to communicate with Main.exe if is started after Second.exe. Is - it somehow possible?

  It seems to me that I must write two screws as independent applications (and release them as such, but in the same folder of the application) and find another way to enable the exchange of data between the two (which, I have no idea). Is there an easier way, I'm missing? The two screws as high level screws in the Build specification will do almost what I want, but not quite, since it in order to open the two screws little important if I want to run only the Main.vi or Second.vi only (and of course only show the single .exe file in the application folder).

  You could do this by using the arguments passed to the exe.  This document gives an example "past of Arguments to a LabVIEW executable".  I just think, you can create shortcuts in the Application Builder, but you will need to generate them buy a post running installation tool.

• ePub creation - TOC FILE MISSING - questions with 7zip VS zip.exe

  Since this question is not really answered - that is to say, the same problems are produce I found elsewhere the ePub Script, I need to reup the question.

  Here's my biggest problem - when 7zip is selected BY RoboHelp to generate an ePub, it does not work.

  However, when RoboHelp tells me to select zip.exe in stahlforce.com/dev/zip.exe, it works fine.

  But there is no way for me to put the ZIP. EXE as the standard when I create an ePub and run the script - he immediately says TOC FILE MISSING as it does the file NCX (TOC) creation.

  Warnings:

  • Yes, I am aware of the other discussions to other locations of http://forums.adobe.com/message/4276654 and http://forums.adobe.com/message/3155109. They are not very clear or useful, what it really takes to cross and resolve what is happening.

  Zip.exe c. downloaded as requested, used as the source Zip, HOORAY! It works!

  D. try to replicate, it goes back to 7zip and craps the bed. KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!

  Now I did this on my C (SSD) drive and my drive E (a regular storage drive) and used RoboHelp in two places, that on both the C and the E drive all is content (project, file, exit) at the same place. I did it on systems clean and 'dirty' and all. UNIQUE. TIME. RoboHelp blithely informs me that there is no TOC file.

  When this happens, it's ALWAYS when it tells me to use 7zip instead of, let's say "zip.exe.

  My default ePub reader has been Adobe Digital Editions. She always does.

  I changed the default ePub for Sony Reader Library drive. She always does.

  Hi, 7zip is the old method of zipping toward the top of the epub. When you install 902, a new script is provided, but you need to make it accessible by hand. Maybe this new version allows to your problems.

  A little bit of guessing here: are there special characters (e, to, etc.) in the name of your project? The output XML really should OCD assigned for output?

  I installed LV 2009 on windows XP machine. To start the computer, the error in the tagsrv.exe is reported. On Distributed System Manager is not possible to see the variable shared on computers on the network. The firewall is disabled. Do you have any idea how to solve this?

  The definitions of these errors are (you can find them here):

  Error-1950679027: NOR-PSP has not connected to the server again

  1950679035 error: unable to locate the variable in the shared Variable engine. Deployment of this variable may have failed.

  As you can see, they both have to do with the shared Variable engine. You are able to use the variable shared on another computer? You have your installed antivirus software? In this case you can try disabeling also? If all else fails, try to reinstall in accordance with this statement and then reinstall it again. Sorry for the inconveniance

  So, you have created the csv file by using the command "generate" and then filled it with ip information?

  Now you must run Dr.-ip-customizer with the command 'create '. This will be:

  -create custom specifications (for a sysprep answer files) for all virtual machines listed in the CSV of entry

  -attach the plug custom VMs placeholder that tells SRM to run the command sysprep and change network settings as part of the recovery plan (step "change network settings")

  Hi Adobe - we have a few lingering unanswered questions in the Flash Builder forum.

  I am looking for a download link for Flash Builder 4.7 - for the non-CC version.

  Creative cloud version will work with my Flash Builder Premium of 4.7 serial number and do I just install it through the creative process of cloud?  I really don't want to go creative cloud at the moment - but I don't know if it's the same file in Flash Builder 4.7 anyway and as soon as I put my serial number, it will take me off creative cloud.

  So... looking for a download link for Flash Builder 4.7 for the serial number of my non creative cloud.

  Thanks kglad.  I ended up going with just the installer of creative cloud - which is very nice!  He installed Flash Builder 4.7 and then it was the trial version - so the next time I opened it, it gave an option to add a serial number - I did and it worked.  So I think we're good!

• LabVIEW 2009 SP1 crashes when moving large selection with the arrow key

  If I select a lot (10 or 15) diagram components and try to move some distance with the arrow button, I'm often a program crash.  Because a reduced number of components seems to hang after a longer distance traveled, it looks like some sort of buffer overflow error.  I don't see this problem when you use the mouse to move selections.

  I checked to make sure I have the latest version of the video driver for my NVIDIA Quatro FX570.  I also tried to work with no hardware acceleration and no handset, written.  What happens on Windows XP SP3 with all current updates.

  It became so bad that I have to do a save as every fifteen minutes to avoid losing data.

  Why not use my mouse for all movements?  Because it is not as specific and not so easy to limit to only one dimension of the movement.   My hand is not as stable as it once was.

  I'm hoping someone will have a suggestion that will clear up this problem.

  As I have indicated, I had the same problem with 8.5 and just DID a new install of Labview 2009.

  Since it is possible that my three monitors configuration, which of course requires more memory video, may be at the origin of the problem, I am satisfied with workaround by dragging the objects closer to their final destination and then using the arrow keys.

  Three monitors are ideal for the front, block and help/Internet/probe damaged.  When I got to work in the field with a single monitor, I felt severely handicapped.

• LabVIEW 2009 sp1 not having replied to the questionnaire / accident

  I seem to have developed a problem with LabVIEW, in which case it freezes at a random point during execution. It is not a matter of a VI gel, rather LabVIEW itself stops working and has closed by the Task Manager. What I have running at the moment is a VI host that sends and receives data over a TCP connection to a target in real time on a PXI system. The real-time application continues to operate after the crash. The host system is also running control of 3D image showing some basic graphics. The entire system is controlled at a higher level by a program crushed in c# via a TCP connection, but can work alone. When you run stand alone the problem will not occur.

  The communication between LabVIEW and c# works very well, but at a random time during the operation, LabVIEW freezes while c# continues to work. This does not appear to correspond to a particular action by the c# program. I guess my question is, is there any likely culprit by which LabVIEW can be crushed by an exernal program where the only communication is via TCP, which seems to work very well and where it does not seem to be excessive memory or CPU usage?

  At the entry to the AEC http://Web.NVD.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2009-1244 list all versions of Workstation 6.5.1 and earlier as being vulnerable. However, the official view of VMWare specifies only Workstation 6.0.x and 6.5.x in the description of the problem.

  I realize 5.x is now out-of-support, but in the VMWare security bulletins have always made reference to versions of out-of-support in the Description of the problem when applied to the vulnerability to these versions.

  Really appreciate it if someone could give me a definitive answer.

  Review of the Workstation 5.5 code base, it contains the vulnerable code.  (As a rough proxy, WS5.5 == Server1.0, so anything that would affect one would affect the other, and Server1.0 received a fix).

  If you feel strongly should be updating the CVE, please discuss with security ([email protected]) people.

  I do not know the WS5.5 support policies; I suspect that the reason WS5.5 did not appear is that there may be no hope of release the other updates in the WS5.5 line, and there was no interest to declare a vulnerable old version if it does not intend to update.  We are more than three years spent release WS5.5, which I think is the usual length of the product of the workstation.

  I built a site design in Photoshop and then slice it upward, leaving a space for the main text of each page. Then, I put the html code and images in Dreamweaver and built a model, make an editable region in the table cell where the main text of each page will go.   Originally I set up so that the combo box had a scroll bar to accommodate the amount of text to the page (I used whole overflow to auto in CSS). The problem is, the customer does not want scrollbars and wants to dynamically extend the page vertically according to the amount of text for the page (with top image of women aligned with the text and their relationship to bio under the navigation bar and 2 magazines and photos that his introductory text and copyright is pushed down to the bottom below the main text).
  
  If I don't use the scroll bars and try to put more text that you can insert into the editable cell, it breaks the table and nav bar gets all messed up and looks like this...

  I am at a loss, how can I set up so that the page will dynamically expand vertically with the text? Any suggestions? A table is not the way to go? What is the best way to do it?

• "Decimal string to Number.vi" bug in LabVIEW 2009 SP1

  The "decimal string to Number.vi' seems to be the conversion of the input data in the type int32 internally even when the input tape in vi data is expanded floating point (no points of constraint).  This is causing me grief.  See attached vi

  This bug is still present in LabVIEW 2010?

  There is no bug. You use the wrong function (see Help) If you want a floating point output. Use Fract/Exp string to a number.

• How to remove the scrollbars Panel sub with LabVIEW 2009 SP1?

  I double checked that the horizontal and vertical scroll bars have not been successful in the appearance of window customize and they were not retained as shown in the image below.  You see scroll bars villain in the façade of the image at the bottom.  Of couse, since the code / sw cannot be shown, it has been repainted but you can still see the scroll bars along the frame of the side panel.

  Found the solution...

  Right-click the scroll bars and select horizontal scroll bar and select always off.

  Repeat the procedure for the vertical scroll bar.
