• Custom HTML Question Slide Radio and checkbox buttons

  Did someone came up with a solution to easily replace the radio and checkbox question slide images HTML5 version? I know there is a hack that requires a change the images by default in the Program Files folder and the modification of the code in a JavaScript file by default, but I was expecting a more elegant solution for end user type.

  I know there is also the ability to create several slides of choice that operate with advanced actions, but our goal is to quickly develop hundreds of courses, and I don't want developers to spend extra time, change in advanced actions. I would like all the tips here, thanks.

  In fact, we looked at something, including in the widget of CpExtra for this particular issue, but at the moment it is quite complicated to do because we need additional images imported into Captivate library, then using a reference ID to replace these images for most normal in quiz questions running.  Unfortunately, there are so many possible problems and things that can go wrong, it's a bit a 'rabbit hole '.

  So, while it would be technically possible to do this with a widget, the best solution still seems to be that Captivate has done what all of the creation of other apps to do and just give you a few options of sustainable style for buttons and checkboxes.

• Question about disabling a single button in a group of radio buttons

  I'm working with Acrobat version 9.5.5.  I am trying to create a PDF form to fill live rather than on a web form.  Most of it's over, but I have a problem that I can't solve.

  At the beginning of the form, I have a group of radio buttons.  The three options in the group are 'Premium Member', 'Réguiler' and "Membership in decline at the moment."

  If someone checks the "composition of decline" there is a second group of radio buttons later in the form which has a number of options.  One of these options is for members to ask only to send the registration form for the annual banquet.  Only members may attend the annual banquet, if I don't want non-members to have the opportunity to select this radio button.  On the other hand, I don't want non-members have the opportunity to select other options in the radio button group.  In short, if someone chooses 'Decline membership at that time' I don't turn off only one option in a group of radio buttons later.

  A web form is not an option at this time, and of course, I am brand new to javascript, so I don't know where to start for this script.

  You can add a script to the mouse event to the top of the box in question in the second group that checks to see if it is selected, and it checks the value of the first group. If it is a third party, so don't let the choice.

  Here, the value of exports (aka Button value, or what they call it now) is set to "Deny" for the corresponding button in the first group ("membership"), then you need to replace those with whatever you use.

• Portege M400: questions about fan and screen buttons

  Hello

  I just received a M400 and experience a great tablet, but I have two problems.

  Fan seems to be always, no matter how hot the cpu or the performance.

  buttons on the screen, specially the control stick, do not work after some time of use, a reboot usually solves it.

  I tried to reinstall the drivers as suggested on other forums, without success. It looks like a driver problem.

  Any ideas?

  I have BB 8130, today my button mute (on top of the phone) will not put the phone in sleep mode.  It worked fine yesterday.  What is a fault on the phone?  I would like answers from other users of BB to see if this has happened to them before going to Alltel and complain of my BB "stupid phone.  I was unhappy with the phone until I got the update for MMS, now that's kind of new LOL (until today).  DRM for any input.

• Question of timings Motion menu button

  Hi all

  I am trying to create a DVD that has a welcome screen opening with text and a button "go to the Menu" that leads to an animation of the title followed by some episode titles that drive both on.

  I had to have a single video file to cover the activities involved and try to use it to create my DVD (using the pickwips in the query tab). I can get the drive to run I want that up to a certain point - play through title text screen and all the way up to the list of episodes and loop and then back to the episode list constantly (never to repeat the text of the Welcome screen), but I can't understand how to add this button "go to the menu" in the text of the opening is part of the video (before the loop) that will take me directly to the list of episodes

  Is it possible to add a menu item before the loop and remove it then?

  Alternative workflow:

  The beginning is a menu with a button that says go to the menu and the text you want.

  Then, I guess the video you have less beginning the background animations and menu button. A regular animation menu, with a loop point, manages what you want there. A time through animation opening, then (timed to the loop point) you get the regular menu (with animations of button/episode title) and buttons to select.

  Hi all

  I work with tlf for my CMS and have implemented easily hyperinking with applyLink, but when I highlight the link still once, how can I get the url that the selected text is linked to?

  Also, if I've got several textFlows editable on the stage, how can I maintain the highlighting?  When I click to the textflow for edit controls my highlighting disappears. But when I put textflows highlighting to show always, if I click editable text editable text, I get several pieces of text highlighted.  It's confusing, of course.

  When the link is selected, you can get the binding information by using the selection. The selected range is provided by the interactionManager, and you take the range and use to find the link. To get the info on the first link in the selection, you could do something like this:

  Your second question, on the control of highlighting, you define your own SelectionFormat. The SelectionFormat defines how the selection taps into each of three selection States: focused (when the TextFlow keyFocus), fuzzy (something else a keyFocus) and inactive (the window is not active). TLF provides your application with default SelectionFormats, which you can override by setting your own values, for example:

  textFlow.interactionManager.unfocusedSelectionFormat = new SelectionFormat (...);

  I try to help my colleague figure out how to make a button act as Mac buttons.  In other words, when your mouse gets close to a button, they will grow ever larger.  He found a piece of code, so I put in my FLA file, closed my eyes, and then had a look and hope it worked.  There can be no.

     1. Problem 1: I could create a custom button 'Next', but I can't see any sort of hook in the submission process to trigger it to be enabled / disabled.
     2. Issues 2 and 4: I could create a custom of 'Submit' button but I don't see what measures to trigger to submit the quiz question.
     3. Problem 3: I do not see boxes click to remove or settings to change, to stop the behavior "click anywhere.
     4. Problem 5: I worked around this by creating my own back for Question 1 only button and hide when they review the quiz.

  Any suggestion would be great!

  Thanks for the links to your blog, as always very useful!

  I understand the hesitation when seeing convoluted questions on this forum, but I encourage you and others to try to remedy. Otherwise, the forum is pretty useless if it only meets the "simple" questions I tried to unzip the problem so that the expected and actual results were clear.

  I have now overcome problems 1, 2, 3 and 4 as follows:

  • Make the button submit transparent and placed a SmartShape resembling to the button send behind it.
  • Removed the success message, so that the action on the success is called immediately by clicking on Submit
  • Call a tip for the successful event Action. This action:
    • Displays the revision message (success)
    • Hide the submit button
    • Jumps to the next slide and then return to the current slide (this ensures that the buttons next and previous are enabled correctly)
    • Calls a Javascript function to pause the slide.
  • Apply the same to all my slides in question... * sigh *.

  I had already worked around 5 problem according to my original post.

  Again, I want to express some frustration that there are so many workarounds to get training to watch 100%. For example, in one of your tutorials there is a transparent button and once I knew how the workaround has been applied, I put my mouse over it the space where the button was and saw the hand icon. While if you think that users don't notice, I assure you that when the courses are distributed to a few hundred people these things don't go unnoticed! The effort to build workarounds is worsened by having restrictions on question slides that do not apply to other slides, which for example not being able to add a button and having to use a SmartShape (which does not reuse the button styles), etc. That means trying several solutions workaround until you can find one where all the workaround steps are feasible and you can get a perfect result.

  In any case, I'll mark this message as answered and call it a day (I have another question about styling SmartShapes used as buttons but post it separately) =)

• Next button doesn't work, not when you click on a question slide

  I have an Adobe Captivate project in which I have a few question slides. I have authorized moving backward and also allowed the user to get a question wrong unlimited times.
  
  However, when the user gets a question slide, if he or she clicks the previous button to return to a slide where I could have just text, clicking the next button I on sliding of the works is no longer. The next button is also configured to be clickable unlimited periods, and the setting is to go to the next slide.
  
  But when going back to this slide and then clicking next to move to the slide in question once again, the next button turns on, but nothing happens.

  Happiness is finding your own problems.

  I went into the preferences of Quiz and success or failure and changed to Inifinite Attemps to the degree of fault. Problem solved!
