  I want to delete 100 + sequential clips to the timeline, how?  Of course, I can do this by highlighting all of them, but that may take an hour or more.

  Use--> timeline--> selection follows head, jump with the arrow keys through your timeline, lift the clips that you want to remove with 'alt' and 'up arrow' and remove the top video track in the end.

  Question of efficiency - cutting Clips.

  So I was wondering if there is a better way to cut my clips that I don't use. Basically, I often have big long clips of raw footage I shot at usable segments. Every raw file can be more than an hour long and have 100s of small segments of live, often comments that I find I'm cutting some long pauses in the talk and other stuff until I have a clip ready to send to the main edition.

  Anyway, often I'm zoomed in so I can change it, and I press C, will make a cut... then make another one a little further upward, press V, click the segment that I just cut... Tap on delete and then click on move the rest of the raw video to the left to get where I made the first cut, often needing to zoom in well and then insert it again to continue editing.

  Is there a better way to do it? So, I did not need to zoom in and out all the time... there at - there a way to remove a piece of Visual form the sequence and have the attached automatically to 'fill the gap' for me?

  my new laptop, purchased on 11/10/2014, has developed a worrisome problem that the screen seems split in two color/resolution/contrast different versions on the same clip video I can watch, he began to do what 2 days ago.

  What is happening on youtube, yahoo, bbc, itv, essentially videos online on any website... P A I N F U L L!

  It is quite upsetting to see that it is brand new in just 7 days!

  This happens to you streaming and watch video clips on the internet and also videos of DVD and video files stored on the HARD disk using tools of different media player?

• Question of Nasted movie clips

  I have this problem. I have a movie clip with the instance name mc1 and it is placed on the root music scene. I have movie clip with the instance name mc2 inside mc1.
  
  I want access to mc2 from the clip of root. If mc2 is on the first picture in mc1 - there is no problem - I use mc1.mc2. But if I place mc2 on the second picture, then flash throws the exception.

  1. you can place it on executives who need. You can set _visible to false on the frames property, it should not be seen or move it out of the scene.

  2. you can export it to the library, and then use a variable with attachMovie.

• iMovie creates too many Clips when you import

  I'm importing old home movies and that you have run into an interesting question. When you connect an older Sony MiniDV camera via Firewire to my MacBook Pro, is to create an insane amount of individual clips - of different lengths (between one second and five seconds) - of the video that has no breaks in it. So a solid 10 minute clip (non-stop), I'll have nearly 100 small clips in iMovie.

  I actually changed computers - and cable - thinking that it could be a computer problem, but it always does. I am trying to determine where the problem is. I'm hoping to avoid importing video analog if possible.

  Does anyone have this problem before?

  This problem came several times in discussions. No solution if I ever posted. Usually this is related to the time for questions on the code clip. Some people have reported success by importing to the Quicktime format and then transfer them to iMovie. You could try to import into Quicktime.

  Hi Forums,

  Small question, the sampling frequency of myRIO HAVE is 500kS/s aggregate on the MXP connectors (A and B).

  My current thoughts are connected to AI0 - AI3 entries on connector MXP has, give me 125kS/s through, so ~ 62.5 kHz of bandwidth (please, correct me if I'm wrong).

  What I'm working, is if the split of gets 500kS/s between total entries shared between A & MXP B; MXP What is total 500kS/s per connector? That is, if I shared my entries to AI0 - AI1 on MXP has; and AI0 - AI1 on MXP B, I would be able to increase my rate of sampling per channel?

  All I think my reply in this thread (copied below) should answer your question:

  The best way to think about the material of myRIO is as if it has two ports, the MSP and MXP (do not distinguish between A and B on the MXP connectors).

  The MSP's HAVE MXP and Audio In (IE all HAVE him) share the same Active Directory Connector.

  The MSP AO and Audio Out each have their own DAC but share a line of SPI.

  AO MXP has its own DAC and has his own line of SPI

• Sansa Clip won't work! Help!

  OK well I was downloading an update, then my lil brother unplugged.

  Now, it won't turn even if I charge it for 12 hours!

  I tried the second 15 reset thing did not work, and when I plugged it into the wall instead of the computer (when connected to the computer it won't let me see something other than taxation) it allows me to see everything / listen to my music, etc. But the minute I unplug the screen turns white.

  Although when I plugged it in the wall it says 'Updating of the database'

• Problem audio clip in the sequence

  Hi, Im new to the forum. I'm using Adobe premiere CC on macbook pro. I have a problem with my sound clip. I import them and they work well in the source monitor. I try with the first and it appears in the sequence with the audio. any fine. But when I try to place on the other, it lets me just load image not the sound, I do not understand why? Can someone help me? Thank you very much!

  The first thing to check is that source patch is selected for an audio track. In the screenshot below, blue background behind "V1" means that the source patch is enabled; the default dark gray background for A1 means source patch is disabled.

  

  If you find that source patch is indeed enabled, then please post a screenshot of your mounting Panel to help us diagnose the problem.

  BTW, you posted this question in the first Clip forum. Clip is a separate application for mobile devices. I will move the thread to the Premiere Pro forum.

  «.. signs diluvium readings of the caching blocks can be divided into a number of small multiblock and self-contained bed. »

  The question is if sequential readings of db file submitted by a FULL SCAN operation will be cached on LRU or MRU list?

  I'm afraid the flushes of heat/floods the buffer cache with a lot of FULL SCAN db file sequential reads.

  For which direct path series reason readings will be inapplicable, so using this new feature of 11g is out of scope for this question.

  There are a few different patterns of behavior depends on the size of the table (relative to the size of the buffer cache), but the key question is probably "readings will increment the counter of touch" - because if they are not the blocks will fall the LRU list fairly quickly, if they do then the blocks could (after a few tablescans) eventually be promoted in half hot from the cache.

  I did some quick tests (that requires a little care in the Installer) which suggest the number touch was not incremented has therefore not had any effect on the question of if the block would get preferential treatment when they have reached the end of the LRU.

  I'm a little puzzled by your expression: "cached on LRU or MRU list" - it's not two different lists; but people talk about "the end of the MRU of the LRU list.

• Canon MXF C300 spans clips

  Total of the FCP to PP newbie here, so forgive if it is already addressed/cutlery/known issue or just a user error.

  My first project in PP is based on images Canon C300, 23.976, 1920 x 1080, interview with content.   A lot of my interviews go more than the 2.05 GB file limit and therefore span multiple clips.  This seems to be confusing important with PP.  I have read some other user threads that seem to have similar problems, but mine is slightly different... bear with me...

  Question #1:

  Two clips split camera, take the same stand with the same code startup time.  For example. I have an ongoing maintenance that starts at 01:22:56:12, but then extends on two clips.  I'll call these part A and part B.   When I import the part A and part B using the "import media browser, then both part A and part B display the same Commons start time code, although actually part B should clearly start an image after the end of part A..      This occurs in the view project/Bin and the Source monitor.  See below.

  

  

  Apart from the confusion that this creates with me, the user, it also seems to cause problems within the PP because when I try to load simply part A or part B in my source monitor, PP gets "confused" about what the source element should read from.  Sometimes, that means he's playing bad clip entirely, until I have to pause and restart the playback, and sometimes it means that the PP will spread reading between the two clips (altnernately playing the frames of a ' and B in near real-time) A-B-A-B-A-B-A-B, etc.) until what he figures that is the clip from a good source to play.

  If it wasn't bad enough, it becomes even more disturbing when I edit an article of the part A or part B into a sequence, thinking that I edited in the section I want, only to read and have the PP to play audio of part A and part B picture.  Yet another example of his own confusion inside.

  Question #2

  The free problem to this is that the end TC for part A and part B are noted the same.   Looking at the above Bin view, you can see that part A has end TC which is after the TC end of part B.   When I first met what I thought it meant that PP was to be 'smart' and seeing that there was a clip split and then using the metadata XML to know that the full clip is the total of part A and part B, and that I could just delete the part B of my project.      Not the case.  After #1 demonstrated, the TC associated with part B is just hard evil in its display.  (the only good aspect of part B is apparently the duration).

  Take-out:

  I did not understand at this point if there is a problem with how Canon is written that it is XML and MXF files or how PP is playing these files.  Whatever it is, it's maddening to try to change something without the confidence that I am editing is actually going to be there when I play it back.

  I've seen talk about some users using alternatives to swallowing and I would be interested in what those who are before you go much further in my cup (even though she will be extremely discouraging to know that 'quick solution of PP' is somehow an illusion at this point).    I'm also interested to know if these problems are limited to C300/MXF files or if it appears to the top with. R3D files which has also written to disk in the form of split files.

  Oh wow... I feel stupid... and yet not.  Here is the reason:

  When I first looked at it, it says "List of files" and I saw all XML files and all split clips.  This is how I had imported things before and no doubt led to my problems.      But because you had asked the question, it seemed that it was my rookie mistake, so I investigated other options.  I was intrigued by Canon XF, but it were grayed out (see below).    Finally, there is a slight order to bug and the limitation of the operation to get Canon XF to even display.  (I call it a bug because it is not intuitive to the user, but it can be just a limitation of functionality that could be imrpoved to).  The problem is that UNLESS the user clicks on the 'Name map' root structure of /ClipName/ # /Card name/content/Clips, so there is no possibility to even choose to display the Canon XF.    In other words, because the "view under" was already set to the directory of files, I never look at a unique Clips and I therefore allowed/of the drill all the way to the MXF files to then import.
